MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Worry or Create a Solution? The Choice is Yours.

Dear Ones,

We are aware that many people spend much of their energy in the space of worrying. We would ask you to consider that worry is the non-productive use of creative energy. Let us help you determine a better use of that creative energy.

First, you must become familiar with the energy of PLAY. Watch the little children around you. They do not worry when they are at play. They are completely present to the moment and to what is happening in that moment in time. They are fully available to whatever creative impulses they experience in that moment. And they are not worried about what will happen in the next moment.

When you are admonished to ‘become like the little children’ it is a recommendation that you find yourself in the energy of the innocence of the moment. This moment now does not contain the energy of other moments except when you bring those energies into your mind. This present moment is not the accumulation of all your feelings from the past or all your worries about the future, for the past and the future are contained in this moment as you define your life.

Every moment that you have lived has moved you forward into the next moment. When you have been fully present to the Now you have used all your resources in the appropriate moment to access the best of yourself, your history and your future, to bring that moment into fulfillment. However, there are times when worry has taken your resources and your energy into some unspecified future time and aligned you with an unfulfilled possibility that distresses you.

Why would you choose to do that? For many of you, the answer is that you are seeking solutions to life’s problems. We would ask you to examine whether or not that is the entire truth, for worry is not your most resourceful state. Rather we see that worry is using your creative energy to create ‘what if’ scenarios that are merely a selection of the possibilities in the field of all possibilities before you. Worry is not planning – except as it is planning for the distressing ‘what if’ scenario.

Now let us suggest that you take the creative energy in this present moment and create that which you desire. Some of you might feel that worrying is such an old, familiar companion that you are not ready to let go of it. Others might be thinking that you choose not to worry and therefore ignore addressing the problems that might cause you to worry. Neither path will bring you solutions nor will you create the life you desire.

Take a problem that you are wrestling with at this time and look upon it as an opportunity for the expression of your great, innate creative energy and talents. Even if you do not consider yourself to be a creative person, you are. You have created the very life that you are living today by making certain choices along the way. And you have the power to make conscious choices about your future possibilities to create a new life every day you are alive.

With a problem in mind, give yourself permission to approach the problem from different angles, some that might seem outrageous to you and some that are distasteful. Try to play at the edges of the reasonable choices before you, for this is where the most creative problem-solving takes place. Now look at the problem from the field of all possibilities, including the most outlandish, unbelievable, amazing possible outcomes. What ideas crop up for you to consider? Is there a new way of looking at your problem that you can see from this vantage point?

Sometimes the only thing that is necessary is that you step out of worry and move into problem-solving energy and the creative ideas will start to flow. And sometimes you need a rest from the worry so that there is energetic space in which the solutions can start to appear.

No matter what the problem is, spending your energy in the world of worry does not bring your most creative energies to bear on solving the problem. Become like the little children, be fully present in the moment, and create the solution you desire so you can live your richest life!

And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: Conscious Confidence for the Present Moment

Confidence can be such a difficult quality to develop. I can be confident in my ability to create a delicious dinner and yet lack the confidence required to get up on a horse and ride a trail. You might be confident in a one-on-one conversation and yet lack the confidence to feel comfortable speaking in front of 1,000-member audience. So what is the confidence we are feeling or not feeling?

When ‘confidence’ is really just an assurance that we are committed to living our Life Purpose in this lifetime on this Planet Earth, then we can relax and our only work is this commitment. Whew! That takes the heat off of us, doesn’t it? I mean, what if I know I am being the person I was born to BE, even if I’m not the best or most accomplished or most experienced at something I am trying to DO? Isn’t that the consciousness that we need to develop? Isn’t that how we can learn to feel confident?

I learned a long time ago that showing up to the present moment is the most important aspect of feeling confident. Even if I feel nervous or tentative about attempting something, I can gain confidence from the knowledge that I am doing the best I can and I can trust that everything will work out as it should. This comes from trusting in the unfolding plan of the Universe.

Trust is the key word here. Do you trust that the Universe has a plan that is unfolding as it should? Do you trust that you have a part in that plan and that your intuition is your connection to it? Have you learned to trust your intuition?

Each of us has a role to play in the story of the Earth as it is developing around us. The people around us are all players in the same story, whether we or they know it or not. Your soul agreed with mine before we were born that we would ‘play’ in this sandbox called Earth at the same time in some way. I trust that this agreement holds and that I am doing my best to fulfill my part. I commit to living the Life Purpose my soul told yours I would live before we started this time on Earth. By raising my own consciousness I’ve become aware of the greater plan and it’s unfolding on Earth in these days.

Are you working to expand your awareness of the great development called Human Evolution? This is about the evolution of consciousness, not about growing beyond tails and webbed feet! Personal growth work becomes the avenue to expanded consciousness and, thus, a commitment to your own personal growth benefits all of humanity.

And confidence comes from knowing that this grand scheme of ever-evolving consciousness includes you and who you are becoming at each step of the way. Trust that you are okay, that you are doing the best you can. Trust that your own intuition and inner guidance are leading you in the path of conscious evolution. Be confident in sharing who you are, right now, in this moment, with others, for that is the soul agreement that you entered into with them before birth. They and you agreed that you would be just that, the ‘who’ you came here to be, and that that was just enough for them in this moment.

Congratulations! Go confidently into your next moments!

MUSE-INGS: Bring Your Dreams into Your Now

So much of what we are surrounded by these days seems to draw our attention to what we lack and what we ‘need’ to fill that space of lack. Just watch commercial television for a few minutes and you will be convinced that you ‘need’ that beer to attract the sexy girls, that drug to feel happier, those clothes to feel good about yourself, that cell phone to be ‘cool’ and the list goes on and on.

And then there is the fear-mongering that leads us to be fearful of everything including being ‘not enough.’ We are also told to fear foreclosure, terrorism, the loss of a job, the loss of a relationship, the loss of beauty, etc. How are we supposed to overcome this constant bombardment that tells us to focus on lack?

First, avoid those commercials! We rarely watch commercial TV but saw a lot of commercials during the American football playoff games. In another week we’ll be watching the Super Bowl with its extremely high-priced commercials telling us what we lack. [ I actually love the commercials that are done especially for the Super Bowl as they often tell stories and are very creative, but they do want us to feel that we’re not good enough unless we buy their product.] News broadcasts also seem to want us to focus on the stories with the most sensational happenings which lead us into a focus on what we don’t want. Maybe we should also stay away from the news. [I do.]

So what do you focus on instead? Focus on how you feel, what you do have in your life, and keep yourself in the space of gratitude and action based on living in the present moment. And BE who you were born to be so that you can fulfill your Life Purpose in this lifetime. When you know your WHY and you commit to being who you are, you have a lens through which to view your life that brings into focus the values that lift you up and that help you to choose what you will do in every moment.

Think about your purpose. Do you know your ‘why’? If you’re not sure, then make an effort to identify why you are living this life. Conscious Living is a choice based on a commitment to be awake and aware in every moment and to move toward greater consciousness and personal growth. Knowing your Life Purpose is an important part of Conscious Living.

What are your dreams? Your visions? The Mystic Message is not about giving up your dreams, but about holding them as visions that are with you in the present moment. This is why affirmations are written in present tense rather than in the future. Hold onto your visions as manifested in this blossoming present moment. Your dreams are your dreams NOW and if you focus on the dream as present in a ‘becoming reality’ sense then you are attaching the energy of presence to the dream rather than the energy of lack of the unmaterialized dream living in a nebulous future. Hold that dream in your own space so that it is not ‘the stick’s length’ away from you, which is where it will stay just like the carrot.

Be who you are. Commit to living your Life Purpose. Hold your dreams in the present moment. All of your energy can be focused on now and so can your joy.

MUSE-INGS: Do You Feel That You Are Not Enough?

Funny how, when we choose to believe the ‘not enough’ myth in one area of life, we seem to overshadow other areas with ‘not enough’ mentality. If it all starts with a sense of ‘not enough time’ then we really must be careful about sliding into a belief that ‘I am not enough.’

This belief in the self as not enough can be an insidious belief that creeps into our unconscious mind from childhood and sits there coloring all that we do, without presenting itself for us to examine. Doesn’t it seem as if most of us were chosen last for the kickball teams? [or at least our remembrance/perception is that we were always the last one picked!] Somewhere in our childhood some kid chose to play with our friend and exclude us. At some point a parent or teacher sent us the message that we weren’t good enough, even if it was inadvertent or unconscious. [‘Why didn’t you get a better grade on that?’ ‘I wish you were like your brother!’ ‘When I was a kid…’ ‘When your room is clean enough for my standards then you can have ice cream.’] No matter the source, the little kid inside us has embraced the notion that ‘I’m not good enough.’

So now we are adults, scurrying through life with huge to-do lists and stress and time pressures. How many times have you heard [or said], ‘There’s never enough time!’?

I think the message for us is to recreate our relationship to time so that we can remove the ‘not enough’ energy from our being. What if we were to declare that there is just enough time to do what needs to be done in any given day? Doesn’t that take some pressure off us as we judge ourselves deficient because we didn’t accomplish everything we set out to do? We think we’re not enough when we decide there’s not enough time.

This is related to my mantra: Everyone is doing the best they can with the resources they have at any given time.

In this present moment, you are making choices about what you will and will not do in that moment. You are making the best choice you can with what you know right then. You might get some feedback that would cause you to make a different choice later but, in that moment, with what you had to work with, you made the best choice possible. And all you have is the present moment. You aren’t leaping forward to see what the consequences might be and what you might learn, then coming back to the present to decide your action. You make a choice in the moment and act on it. Then you get the feedback.

Each of us only has the present moment in which to live. If we worry about the past or the future we take energy out of this present moment. This moment is enough. WE are enough. Every choice is a lesson to be learned, bringing with it all the feedback we need at just the right time.

Be enough. Believe that you are enough. You have enough time. The corollary is that, if you didn’t get it done, it wasn’t meant to be done in that moment.

Now relax.

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: The Consciousness of Success

Dear Ones,

It is our pleasure to welcome you people of the Earth to the larger collection of inhabitants of the Universe. Many of you are thinking of yourselves in a context that is larger than the little group to which you belong at present. Welcome.

The human family is just one of the tribes of families in the Universe. This is not said to scare you about your science fiction movie aliens but to let you know that there is a consciousness beyond that which encompasses the human race on Planet Earth in the 21st Century. That all-encompassing consciousness has been called ‘God’ or ‘Spirit’ or ‘Source’ or ‘Great Spirit’ or ‘The Universe’ and a host of other names. Religions have been created around this notion that there is a consciousness beyond the comprehension of a human mind and therefore it must be deified and separate from humans.

In reality, Dear Ones, YOU are the consciousness that is beyond your own comprehension and every other existence of sentience is also that larger consciousness. This might seem a difficult concept to grasp but it is really rather simple. All consciousness is an awareness of existence. Any being that is aware of its own existence is a part of the collective consciousness. All sentient beings are, therefore, a part of the larger consciousness and there is none that are separate from it.

Does that confuse you? Or does it help you to feel that you are connected to something greater that is, at one time, a part of you as you are a part of it? Look around you at the people in your life and realize that you are all a part of the greater All. See every human being as a part of you. Know that your whole life is one of connection to all around you.

This is the secret of very successful people on Planet Earth. They feel themselves as a part of the greater whole. Now, we are not speaking here of those who deem themselves successful just because they have amassed a vast fortune in money, especially those who have done so at the expense of other people or at the exploitation of people and the environment, for their definition of success is merely that they are successful at accumulating money.

Rather, successful people on Earth are those who have arrived at a consciousness that allows them to exist in harmony with where they are in the present moment. They might have vast wealth or they might have little of earthly possessions, but they feel a part of the greater whole and they believe that they have a part to play in the unfolding of consciousness on the Planet. Not all of these successful people have money but they don’t define themselves by their bank account, either. And being aware of being a part of a greater consciousness does not mean that one must live in poverty or repudiate wealth and physical possessions. There are some who teach that these two states of existence are mutually exclusive but we would tell you that people can be conscious and wealthy at the same time, and people can be conscious and have little wealth and be successful. The thinking about success needs to be modified to allow people of any level of monetary fortune to be considered successful if they are living their life purpose and understand their connectedness to the greater whole.

Individual freedom is often spoken of as if it is insular. We would tell you that the individual who is truly free does not see their existence as separate from the whole but free because they are a part of All that is around and within them. This individual is truly a Child of the Universe and has the entire Universe in which to exist as a free being.

‘Success’ and ‘Freedom’ are words that are crying out for re-definition as all of humanity moves into a higher understanding of collective consciousness.

We will speak more about these topics in coming days.

And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: Life Purpose and Manifesting in the NOW

Why is this such a difficult concept to implement in Life? It seems that everything around us conspires to pull us out of satisfaction with what is our current reality in this present moment.

If you watch commercials on TV they are always touting something we don’t have but need to be sexy, happy, healthy, wealthy. Politicians keep telling us that everything is in terrible shape and it’s the other guy’s fault but things will get better after we vote for them. Economic news is dire. The real estate market is in trouble. Nobody can sell a house. Nobody is getting mortgages to buy a house. Take your money out of banks and keep it under the mattress at home. There are no jobs. The list goes on and on.

And, yet, somebody somewhere has just bought/sold a house. Somebody just started a new job. Somebody just had a baby bringing new life into the world. This list, too, goes on and on. Why are we not focusing on this list?

The memes of our society get created by ‘them’ and we seem to buy them as if they are the Truth with a capital ‘T.’ We give away our power to a vision of dire circumstances without testing whether things are really that dire, for us, in this present moment. Maybe we can change that by becoming more cognizant of what is real for us in every present moment of our lives.

What is real for you right now? Are you sitting somewhere comfortable, at just the right temperature, reading these words on a computer or a smart phone? Are you enjoying the day, having eaten food that was tasty and well prepared? Are you clothed comfortably? Do you have a home to go to and family and friends to call on? The answer, in this moment now, is probably ‘yes.’ Tomorrow the answer might be ‘no’ but that doesn’t matter IN THIS PRESENT MOMENT.

That is the thinking that we need to become aligned with. This present moment is where we must focus our attention. This doesn’t mean that we don’t plan for the future and appreciate the past, but our energy must be focused on what is ours to do and to be IN THIS PRESENT MOMENT, for our thoughts in this moment will shape our future, no matter what we want it to be, especially if we create conflicting thoughts which can stop the flow of our desires. Learning to ask, ‘Who am I to be in this moment?’ and ‘What am I to do in this moment?’ will lead us into the space where we are preparing for what is to come in the future but our energy is not taken away from this moment now.

The difference is where the energy lives. If we are thinking about something that we want in the future but don’t have, then our present energy is that of lack and that is the energy that takes us forward. But if we focus on our desires in a way that brings the fulfillment of those desires into present time, especially if we feel gratitude for that fulfillment, then we create the experience of having those desires in the NOW and the energy is one of attraction rather than lack.

When you align yourself with your Life Purpose you live every moment in the present fulfillment of that Purpose. Your energy is one of attracting that which you desire because you are in touch with the part of you that knows fulfillment. You also know when you are moving in a different direction because you feel the loss of connection to your Purpose and you must pull yourself back into the present moment. Knowing and living your Life Purpose can help you to manifest in the present moment that which will bring fulfillment into your Life. Learning how to focus your energy in this present moment will also bring contentment with it because your thoughts can align with what is and the field of all possibilities stays real and obtainable in this moment now.

These ideas are practical ways for you to learn to experience the fullness of the energy of NOW, but you must first open your heart and mind to the possibility that these things are true. Try this week to remember to be fully present to each moment so that you can experience fulfillment. This is your NOW!!!

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Manifest in the NOW!

Dear Ones,

Where are your thoughts at this time? Are you focusing on what is wrong with your life or on what is right with it? Are you wishing for what is not or are you appreciating what is? This is a time when many are seeking support for a new direction in their life, or are planning to make changes in the coming months, or are looking ahead to what they hope will be better times.

But we would tell you that Life is only what is present in this moment now. Life is only this moment, nothing else. You can think about your past or your future but it is just that, a thought. Your Life is being lived in this present moment only. Your thoughts are not your Life but they do create or recreate it.

When you focus your thoughts on what is missing in your Life or on what you are wishing for but not having then you are holding the energy of lacking what you desire and bringing that energy into this present moment. When you are focused on something in the past or in the future then you are giving away the energy of this present moment to a thought that is energy not available to your Life in this moment.

Think of this as if you are at a dinner party with a buffet table laden with good food. You are hungry and looking forward to eating the food that is there before you. You might even be starting to salivate as you think about and look at what is coming onto your plate in a few minutes. Then there is a fire alarm bell and you are forced to go outside and stand in the weather for hours while all that food spoils on the buffet. You eventually go home hungrier than when you arrived and never having eaten that which you were expecting to eat.

Life is like that. It doesn’t mean that you cannot anticipate with joy what is coming your way but until you are actually eating at the buffet of Life you are merely salivating over a thought. While you stood in line thinking about the food there might have been a very interesting person standing behind you that you didn’t notice but with whom you might have had a great conversation. You might have missed an hors d’oeuvres table where you could have been snacking on amazing appetizers but you were focused on those foods that you would be eating later. There is much that can be missed in the present moment if all your energy is going toward something in the future.

In this present moment, what is around you that might have escaped your notice? What joy is present for you to tap into? If you are experiencing some pain in this moment, physical, emotional, or mental, what can you learn from this experience to take the meaning from it? If it is a physical pain, you might need to change your position or take an analgesic or lie down to rest. For an emotional pain you might need to do some journaling or talk with someone to process your emotions as you are feeling them. Mental pain usually means that there is an error in your thinking that needs to be examined and addressed by monitoring your thoughts and asking, ‘Is this true?’

This, Dear One, is living a Conscious Life, where you are fully present to the experience of the moment, neither giving away your power to your thoughts of the future nor dwelling on your experiences in the past so that you cannot live in the present. Practice being fully present to every moment of NOW in your Life.

Remember that the Law of Attraction calls you to be in gratitude for what is, not for what might be. You must pull your attention into the present moment, tap into gratitude for what is, focus your attention on your desires as if they are in this present moment and give gratitude for that, and allow your physical, emotional and mental energies to align in this present NOW.

This will bring you Joy and Peace! Then do it again in the next NOW!

And so it is.

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: “Choosing to Pay the Bills? “

Dear Ones,

We are aware that many people spend much of their time worrying about money. Or should we say, the lack of money. We wish you to change your thoughts.

Money is not abundance or prosperity. Is it REALLY money that you lack or is it a feeling of freedom, abundance, prosperity? What is it you are really feeling when you focus on money or the lack of money?

You can take something whose only value is created when two parties agree on the value and make that thing the essence of your thoughts and, thus, your Life. OR you can change your thinking, control your thoughts, and focus on abundance, prosperity and freedom.

For many of you, you have equated money with these qualities of Life. That is a false equivalent. Would you not feel freer without a mortgage to pay? Would you not feel more prosperous if you felt yourself making choices from a place of empowerment rather than from a place of lack (“I could do that but I choose something else” rather than “I can’t afford that”)? And wouldn’t you feel more abundant in your Life if you appreciated and cared for what is in your Life especially if you have only those things in your Life that you love instead of focusing on what you don’t have or dealing with /feeling burdened by the things in your Life that you don’t love?

You do have the power of choice when it comes to your thoughts. Even those thoughts that arise unbidden in your consciousness can be attached to or let go of – it’s your choice. Where you focus your attention is also your choice. The Law of Attraction states that you attract into your Life that which you magnetize with the energy of your thoughts. What have you been thinking about today?

Now if you are saying that your Life is a struggle to pay the bills then we would tell you to take heart and heed these words today. You are choosing to struggle. Let that go. You are choosing to have those bills in your Life today, perhaps because of decisions made when you did not have the consciousness and awareness that you have today. That is okay. Every day contains new lessons for you to learn and today is no exception to that.

Think differently about the bills you have to pay. Move into gratitude that you have always been making the right choices to learn the lessons of your Life. Rejoice in the empowered feeling of continuing to make choices. Even if your choice is about which bill to pay and which bill to delay, make a choice. You focus on what you don’t want [a consequence] and you energize that. Focus on feeling empowered instead of victimized and you will attract greater empowerment.

There is a difference between bringing your focus fully into the present moment and focusing on ‘what is’ instead of what you desire. There are two aspects to this that it is important for you to consider.

The first is that you must pull all your energy into this present moment because this is your Life. All you have is this moment.

But when you are in this moment thinking about what you don’t have, you steal energy from this moment, your magnetizing/attracting energy, and you give it away to the lack of what you desire.

Think instead of how it will feel when you bring what you desire into this present moment. Energize and ramp up that feeling. Add gratitude to that emotional experience. Smile – with your facial muscles and with your heart.

This is how you attract that which you desire.

When you focus on lack or on the difference between what is and what you desire you make yourself unhappy. When you live in acceptance of what is and an appreciation that you always have the power to change your thoughts – about what is and about what you desire – then you can live an abundant, prosperous, empowered Life in freedom.

We realize that this is a complicated issue but we invite you to start today practicing these techniques. Energize abundance, prosperity and freedom by thinking thoughts and feeling feelings of abundance, prosperity and freedom.

And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: Be in This Moment by Rosemary Bredeson

Sometimes we look at a task before us as if it is a huge undertaking and the enormity can paralyze us.  We react by sticking our head in the sand, or procrastinating or distracting ourselves with ‘bright, shiny objects.’  And, yet, if we break the task down into smaller bites, we can accomplish those and make progress toward our goals.  We just forget that we already know this strategy.

In our daily lives, we can be overwhelmed with our ‘to-do’ lists and we forget that we are a part of a community, that there are others who have needs and we can make their day better by doing something small that feels huge to that other person.  The key to doing this is to being alert to opportunities.  Living a Conscious Life brings us into the Consciousness of the Moment – living each moment with full awareness, of Self and Other, so that we can fully participate in that moment.

Think about how many mindless things you do in a day.  How many minutes do you think you spend in activities that you perform by rote? How much of your day is spent being unconscious or thinking about something other than the activity in which you are engaged in that moment?  You wash the dishes and you think about your to-do list for tomorrow.  You take the dog for a walk and you’re planning your day.  You pick your children up and you are on the phone in the car while they are playing with their toys.  You and your spouse go through the mail and don’t talk to each other at all.  The list goes on and on.

Mindfulness is a practice where you are fully present to each moment of your day.  If you are washing the dishes then you are focused on the washing of the dishes.  You notice the temperature of the water.  You examine the plate to make sure it is clean and you appreciate the food that it held for you to eat.  You get the picture.

So what if you were to go through your day with that same kind of mindfulness focused on the people with whom you interact?  What if you paid attention to the people in line with you in the grocery store?  What if you stopped and listened for a bit to the street musician and then threw some money in the jar?  What if you really acknowledged the server in the restaurant or the receptionist in the office and asked, with genuine interest, how their day has been?

It doesn’t take much to make a difference in someone else’s day but too often we are so focused on the next thing we have to do or how well/badly the last thing we did went that we forget to be fully present to the moment we are living right now.  This moment is here only once in our life.  Every moment that we spend thinking of other moments is thrown away from the time of our life.  We can never get it back and time is our most precious commodity.

Now think if you used an awareness of this present moment as an opportunity to improve someone else’s life.  How would you feel at the end of the day if you took advantage of every opportunity like this?

Pretty darned good.
