For the New Moon in Gemini: Think NEW Thoughts

Happy New Moon in Gemini! And Thursday’s New Moon is also a Super Moon, meaning that the Sun and Moon are together in the sky in the sign of Gemini and the Moon is at its closest point to Earth. Lots of energy from both the Gemini Sun and the Super New Moon. The New Moon is exact at 3:44 pm Eastern Daylight Time on Thursday, May 25.

This is a time to look at your limiting beliefs and discard those that do not serve you. The Gemini energy is about communication and thoughts and this time it is important to think about how you are communicating with yourself. What are you telling yourself, especially ABOUT yourself? Which thoughts are you engaging with instead of letting them go? The answers will give you a lot of information about where to focus your inner work during the next couple of weeks.

New Moons are times to do your manifesting work to bring in what you want to have in your life that is new. But are you clear about your Vision for your life? For that new project or situation or dream? Now is the time to get that clarity so that you can focus your manifesting energy like a laser beam on attracting what you do want and avoid attracting what you don’t want, which is what happens when you worry about what you don’t want.

Spend some time over the next couple of days looking at what has come up for you to examine over the last couple of weeks. That Full Moon on May 10 hit a lot of us with a blast of energy. What’s been happening in your life that is inviting you to re-think the automatic thoughts that keep popping up in your mind?

Remember, your thoughts are not you! You can change your thoughts and it will change your life. (I spend most of my time in sessions with clients helping them to do just this.) You have the power to CHOOSE YOUR THOUGHTS. And now is the perfect time to get clear about your Vision so that you can focus your thoughts in the direction of your dreams.

It’s already mid-February of 2017! I don’t know about you but this year seems to be flying by.

Did last Friday’s Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse throw you for a loop? If it did, you are not alone. A lot of folks experienced quite a wallop of energy from this celestial happening. This would be especially true if you have some Leo/Aquarius things going on in your natal astrology chart.

Even if that is not the case, or if you don’t know, when the Sun and Moon interact like that we all feel it on Earth. This makes sense even if you don’t understand astrology. The Sun affects communications on Earth – think Sun storms or flares and the resultant messed up electronic communications – and the Moon affects the tides – we certainly notice that here on the Chesapeake Bay! So if, in astrology, the Sun represents YOU and the Moon represents your Emotions, it’s no wonder that a Full Moon Eclipse will have some affect on you.

Well, we are coming out of that Eclipse phase and are moving toward another Eclipse on the New Moon that happens on Sunday, February 26 at 10:00am EST. This time it will be the Sun that is eclipsed by the Moon.

On the New Moon we typically say it is the time to start something new, and this one is no exception. But we are also experiencing a time to let go of the past, to release what no longer serves us as we move expectantly into our own future.

Let go of the past and create your future TODAY and every day!

It is the end of Summer and we are getting ready for Fall.  I love it when the weather starts to cool down – still waiting here in Maryland but I trust it is coming!

The Sun has moved into the sign of Virgo so we are focusing away from the materialistic and toward the beauty and elegance of Life.  It is a time to bring heart and soul together in your life and to rise above material concerns.

Hold onto your hats because Mercury is going Retrograde on Tuesday, August 30th at 9:03 am Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)!  For the next three weeks Mercury will be making us re-view, re-plan, re-evaluate.  Drivers may be distracted.  Communications may be confused.  Take your time – there’s nothing to worry about if you re-read everything before you sign or hit ‘Send.’  Although some people panic about the Mercury Retrograde periods, others find them extremely creative because they go inside and find the new ideas that they are usually too busy to discover.  Make this time a good Mercury Retrograde period for yourself!

This week we have a Solar Eclipse on September 1 at 5:03 am EDT.  The Eclipse won’t be visible in the US but the effects will be felt worldwide.  Notice what was important to you 19 years ago, on September 1, 1997, when there was another eclipse close to the place that this one is occurring.  What do you need to change or evaluate in your life now?

With this Eclipse, when the Moon temporarily blocks some of the Sun’s light from reaching Earth, we get some Saturn and Neptune influence to bring up compassion and unity consciousness for us to tap into.  According to The Mountain Astrologer magazine, “…in order to manifest our dreams, we have to be willing to release all remnants of guilt and blame, denial and dogmatism, martyrdom and victimhood.”  Are you ready?  This is important clearing work so that you can move forward into living your richest life.

Happy Summer! I hope you are enjoying this season of warm weather and holiday parades and fun activities.

Warm weather is HOT weather here in Maryland! I give thanks every day for air conditioning. I’ll emerge in the Autumn.

The Full Moon in Capricorn (the Sun is in Cancer) was exact at 6:56 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on Tuesday, July 19. This one was powerful!

Have you been feeling as if everything is being shaken up? Are you questioning where you are headed and with whom? Are you looking to get your message out to the world in a bigger way?

And are world events causing you to feel upset, unsettled, even fearful? Yes, we are being invited to FEEL our emotions and to examine the structures around us. This is a time to evaluate and maybe throw away what doesn’t serve us, as individuals and as a culture.

Here in the U.S. we are in the midst of an extremely divisive political election cycle. Nothing seems to be going according to plan.

And with many of my clients this is happening on a personal level. Money, health, relationship, career issues – everything seems to be coming up in chaos.

Take heart, Dear Ones! All is not lost. You are being asked to do some self-exploration and make decisions about who you are and how you will be operating in the world. You will come out of this chaotic period with a new understanding of what peace and balance inside you means.

The work of this Full Moon is to RELEASE. Those old structures. Limiting beliefs that belong to the old you. Thoughts of what you can’t do based on past experience. Decide to get rid of old energies so that you are ready for something new to arrive with the New Moon on August 2 at 4:44 pm EDT. This also happens to be Richard’s and my birthday so August 2 will be a very special New Moon at our house!

So many people are upset by what’s happening in the world that I have been guided to help provide some tools to make it through this time of chaos.

On Monday, July 25 at 7:00 pm EDT join me for a channeling event where I will teach with The Divine Feminine what is going on and what we can do about things. These messages that are coming through these days are powerful guidance to help us navigate the 21st Century and its problems. Greetings and a big welcome to those who are newly joining RosemarySpace!

The Inspiration Video I’ll post here in a few days was recorded while we were in Puerto Rico with our coaching program and we had an amazing week on that beautiful island! I had intended to get this MoonLetter out on Friday, November 13 but the events in Paris eclipsed working on it.

The New Moon occurred on Wednesday, November 11 at 12:47 pm Eastern Standard Time. The effect of a New Moon is felt for 3 days before the day and for 3 days after it is exact, so we had a full week of the effect, including during the events of November 13.

I found this information about the energies of this New Moon in The Mountain Astrologer Magazine: “This NewMoon in Scorpio reveals where we are shedding an old skin in order to grow, and how light, love, and truth always dispel the darkness… the New Moon at 19° Scorpio emphasizes the importance of consciously attuning to and sharing uplifting information, rather than mindlessly repeating thoughts or ideas that foster fear and disempowerment.”

Obviously this magazine was prepared and published way before the events in Paris but let us take the message to heart and focus on looking at our own shadows so that we can clear them and radiate the Light that we really are.

I used to think they were kind of creepy but in the last year or so I have connected with some interesting people who have shown me that they represent consciousness that can help humanity to evolve. I now have two and think that, as they are a part of the Crystal Kingdom, there is an energetic connection to Earth Wisdom that meditation with them can facilitate.

The Sun moves into the sign of Sagittarius on Sunday, November 22 so we’ll move out of the Scorpio intensity and into a focus on adventure and learning. Be ready.

The Veil Nebula Supernova Remnant
NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has unveiled in stunning detail a small section of the expanding remains of a massive star that exploded about 8,000 years ago.

“Look for the Light – in yourself and in others.  You will find what you seek.”

What will you ask into your life now that can grow while the Moon grows in the sky? How will you be new?

The Sun, that other big light in the sky, is entering the sign of Scorpio on October 23 – the sign of Transformation. Many of my clients and friends are going through major transformation since the Eclipse – are you? Things are being shaken up, new ideas are appearing, collaboration, business shifts, change.

Happy New Moon in Virgo!

“You are supported in making changes in your life. Today is your day to choose a new way of being in the world. Release whatever has been holding you back and live every minute with the freshness of new energy. You create this moment anew in every moment of your life.”

Big day in the heavens yesterday! The New Moon happened on September 13, early in the morning (2:41am Eastern Daylight Time) and the lineup of the Earth, Moon and Sun gave us a partial Solar Eclipse (sadly, not visible in the US). New Moons are the beginning of the Moon cycles and encourage us to focus on the ‘new.’ Solar Eclipses magnify this energy of ‘new’ and encourage us to evolve.

This eclipse is ‘facilitating a reconfiguration and rebooting of consciousness.’ (The Mountain Astrologer magazine) That is potent energy! Have you been feeling it? I have been in this shake-up since the last Full Moon!

My personal experience of this ‘rebooting’ is that I have fully embraced the Universe as an abundant place to live. I focus on abundance, in all areas. And the generosity of the Universe is astounding me! I keep winning things that I need – including a distant healing session for our dog, Tara! (or did Tara manifest that one? Hmmm…)

Pay attention to the Exploration article in this newsletter (link). Notice where your thoughts are taking you. You are in manifesting mode whether or not you are conscious and intentional or you are disbelieving in this manifestation stuff. Doesn’t it make sense to go ahead and think about what you want instead of what you don’t want, just in case those of us who have figured this out are right?

With the New Moon and the Solar Eclipse energy around, there is potent energy to help you manifest something new in your life. And the energy of an eclipse stays effecting us for the next 6 months!

We are also coming up on the next Mercury retrograde, when that planet appears to move backward in the sky. Some people groan when they hear this, others get huge bursts of creativity. Just be sure to be careful, read before signing, be patient with communication snafus September 17 – October 9.

The Sun is finishing up its annual tour in Virgo and enters the sign of Libra on September 23, which is also the Autumnal Equinox. ‘Balance’ is the keyword here. Use the time before the Equinox to find Balance in the flow of your life. On that day with equal daylight and darkness, look at your life and decide how to live in balance so that you can ‘go with the flow.’

ROSEMAR’S FULL MOON NEWS

We are still in the full moon energy. Happy Full Moon in Pisces!

“At this time of great Moonlight for Earth, allow yourself to be transported as if on a Moonbeam into the world of dreams. Ride this beam of light into the picture of your dream life. Allow your emotions to enjoy the picture, the feeling as you glide into the vision of your richest life.

Release anything that anchors you to your old life. Let go of the bonds of the past. Be in the present journey to your dream.”

This Full Moon is the first of 3 Super Moons in a row. Because the Moon is at its closest to the Earth we experience a bigger impact of Moon energy on Planet Earth. As the tides are being affected, so are the waters in our bodies. The tectonic plates of the Earth feel the strong pulls – watch for earthquakes and volcano eruptions. This energy has an impact on humans, too.

Saturday’s Full Moon happened at 2:37pm Eastern Daylight Time. The Full Moon is a time when the Sun, in the sign of Virgo, is opposite to the Moon, in the sign of Pisces. This is the time to release what doesn’t serve you – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. De-clutter. Clear negative emotions, mental blocks, and limiting beliefs. Let go and surrender to your Big Dream.

A lot of people have been talking about feeling the shifting forces, about being unsettled or feeling as if something is going on. Empaths and extremely sensitive people are being shaken up a bit (a ‘humanquake’?).

We also have some interesting planetary happenings that can invite us to expand our vision and to be creative.Jupiter and Neptune are dancing together opposite each other and, according to The Mountain Astrologer, “When channeled into spiritual practice, humanitarian work, pilgrimage, healing or creative activities, the combined energy of these planets can be highly inspirational and transformative during the peak of this Full Moon and through mid-September.”

Today’s New Moon in Leo, when the Sun and Moon are together in the sign, occurred at 10:53 amEastern Daylight Time (EDT). The New Moon is the time to invite new energies into your life. What have you been seeking? Now is the time to welcome that into your life.

Leo is the sign of creativity and love. In what way can you express yourself creatively? This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to go out and paint a picture but find YOUR expression – art, music, problem solving, knitting, etc. Roar like a lion because you love what you are doing!

Venus is playing with the Moon and the Sun in Leo and is showing us the importance of embracing the Divine Feminine within. It is time for all of us to live in a collaborative way, not in competition with each other but, rather, finding how we can support others while making our own unique contribution.

On a personal note, thanks for all the birthday wishes! We had a fabulous time with family, celebrating for days together. I am not a fan of hot weather but I do love celebrating the Sun in Leo!
