Happy Holidays! We’re in the amazing time of year where we immerse ourselves in holiday festivities and playtime. The days are continuing to get shorter as we approach the Winter Solstice here in the northern hemisphere. Wednesday, December 21st is the shortest day of the year for us. We celebrate Yule to remember that the Light is returning, that is, the days will start to get longer and we’ll be enjoying more daylight. To our friends Down Under, you will be experiencing the opposite, the return of the darkness as your days begin to shorten [and get cooler!].

Winter is the time to go inside, to ponder, to reflect, to review. This is a good week to review 2011, not to be judgmental or to criticize yourself for what you didn’t do or could have done better, but to notice what you’ve learned, how you’ve grown, what you have allowed to pass out of your life and what you have invited into it. Too often we get caught up in the planning of the New Year and forget to mine the treasures of the passing year so that we can gain the greatest value of our experiences. Catch yourself when you look ahead without appreciating what you have grown through. 2011 has been a gift, no matter what it brought to you.

And I have deemed 2012 The Year of Possibilities. At this moment 2012 holds amazing potential for each of us. Enjoy that uncertainty about what gifts will come in this new year. The field of all possibilities lies in front of us as we look forward to the coming year so stay open. Plan to receive the guidance available next year. MUSE-INGS: But What IS My Life Purpose?

More and more I hear that people would love to be fulfilling their Life Purpose but they don’t know what it is. Some people feel they know what to DO but they aren’t sure who to BE. I work with a lot of entrepreneurs who have created successful businesses but don’t feel fulfilled by that success. What to do?

Understanding that you have a Life Purpose is the first step. And in our culture we can be duped into believing that our Life Purpose is to make as much money as we can. Since money is merely an energy exchange between 2 parties determining the value of the money based on the value of the exchange, I cannot see that making money is truly anyone’s Life Purpose. That is not to say that in fulfilling one’s Purpose one cannot make a lot of money but the money is the result, not the goal.

Others define ‘success’ as status or security or safety or, often, freedom from financial stress. What if we worked to redefine this word? What if we take this Mystic Message about Light and Love and Life Purpose and find a way to define success based on those concepts? Let’s try.

I believe that success in Life depends on growing the amount of Light and Love that surrounds one in Life. If you have people around you, family or friends or neighbors or colleagues, near or far, whose lives have been enhanced by your connection to them, then you have been growing Light. If you give Love freely, without asking for anything in return, then you have increased the Love in your own world and in the lives of others. This is success. It has nothing to do with the amount of money you have in the bank. It does not depend on your income this year or this month or in any given week. True success is not about money.

What I see is that people who learn their Life Purpose as identified in their unique handprints, or through other intuitive means, feel a great sense of relief because it defines the call that their inner spirit has been trying to respond to but has not had a clear path for that response. Sometimes it just feels as if something is missing even if that missing thing hasn’t been identified yet. There is a yearning, a soul longing for something that’s not here.

Each of us is a being of Light, brought to Earth for a purpose. Each of us was loved into existence, requested by the rest of the Universe so that we could fulfill a purpose that supports and is supported by all of existence. This is a profound trust that has been placed in us. To live up to this we must learn to access the Light within, connect with Love Energy, share that Love and Light by fulfilling our Life Purpose.

How do you connect to Love and Light? Do you meditate? Do you find it through you connections with other people? Do you experience Love and Light by connecting with Nature?

Play this week with the idea of connecting to Love and Light in new ways. Look each day for a way to connect. Once you have made that connection see how you can share Love and Light with the world around you. People crave this and many do not know how to access Love and Light for themselves. Be the beacon for them. Just shine Light and Love through your smile. Talk from that vibration. Spend this week eschewing negative talk or talk of darkness and keep yourself in the Love and Light Energy level.

And learn your Life Purpose. Meditate on this. Ask for guidance. As one client said this week, “I feel relief that this is my Life Purpose!” You will be guided by that Life Purpose once you have determined it so it will make future decision making easier.

Take your Light out there. Be Love in the world. Live your Life Purpose. You will feel fulfilled.

MYSTIC MESSAGE: from The Divine Feminine: Are You Ready to Live Your Life Purpose?

Dear Ones,

When there is terror in the heart then there is no room for love. When fear rules a life then one cannot see the Light. When self-doubt and confusion color a person’s days then those days cannot be fulfilling.

But the Light is always there. There is always Love. Fulfillment awaits those who live in Love and Light.

Too many people are allowing their Light to be diminished by ‘should’ and ‘ought’ thinking. And many more are being told lies about what is real and they believe the lies instead of looking for information about what is true. We wish to enlighten you and, thus, your life.

First, let us say that Light abounds in the Universe. There are millions of Suns shining their Light brightly through millions of years. Stars exist that have never been seen yet by humans. There is an amazing amount of Light already in existence in the Universe and there are other kinds of Light, as in Light Energy, that humans cannot see yet. The vibration of Light Energy is higher than most vibrations that humans perceive on Earth and so there is an abundance of Light to be experienced.

Next, consider Love Energy. Love Energy is the attracting force in the Universe that holds the cosmos in position and creates structure on Earth and beyond. Love is the primary force, the primary motivator, and lack of Love creates an opposing motivator because the human psyche craves connection to pure Love Energy. Every individual who exists on Planet Earth was loved into existence. We are not talking here just about the human act of procreation, which is not always performed in the energy of Love, but the human being who is produced was loved into life by the forces of the Source in the Universe joining with Mother Earth to produce exactly the human who was needed at that moment on the Planet.

And so, Dear One, you were uniquely positioned at the moment of your birth to bring to Planet Earth that which was needed by all other Earth inhabitants. You were loved into this existence for a purpose defined by the Love Energy that brought you to Earth. All other beings exist to fulfill their own purpose and to support you in fulfilling yours. Think about that. The entire Universe and all of Planet Earth’s inhabitants are conspiring to support you in learning your Life Lessons and in fulfilling your Life Purpose.

And all because of Love.

When you can connect to the level of Love Energy that creates this world then you learn that your individual problems of the day are merely stepping stones to the fulfillment of your Life Purpose. Every individual who seems to be motivated by a lack of Love is in your life so that you can learn a lesson and grow. Every situation in which you find yourself is put on your path to help you to fulfill your destiny.

You are Love. You are Light. You are Life.

So now you can open yourself and especially your heart to welcome in that which exists in your life at this time. Everything in your life is there to help you grow more Light for the world. Everything in your life is helping you to learn to Love, yourself and others. Your Life is a part of the greater whole because the connections are vast and started before you were born.

Fulfill your Life Purpose through sharing your Love and Light with the rest of the world. After all, they asked you to be here!

And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: Give the Highest Energy No Matter What the Gift Is!

As often as we hear that it is better to give than to receive, I have never thought about this energetic of the sharing of vibrational frequency levels. What are we really giving when we give a gift? What are we really sharing when we give our energy to another?

The picture I see as I examine this concept clairvoyantly is of energy waves moving between people when there is giving involved. The higher vibrational waves of energy are smooth and regular. When there is negativity present the waves are jarringly irregular and jagged, and this is based on the feelings of the giver which overpowers the recipient’s energy. Even if there is a smile on the face, if there is resentment in the heart the energy is impacted.

What kind of giver are you? Are you careful about your energy when you are giving yourself to another? I know people who have signed up to help with an event then wished they could get out of it right up until they show up to help out of a sense of obligation. Imagine what this resentful energy has as an impact to others around them with that jagged, irregular set of waves moving out into the space. Perhaps it would have been better if they had said ‘no’ in the first place.

In relationships, one partner often gives away their power to the other, staying quiet when they would have spoken but they fear some reprisal or reaction that they try to avoid with their silence. This energetic pattern can build and build until the silent partner erupts in emotions. This giving of one’s power to another is not a true gift but it impacts both the giver and the receiver, in a negative way.

Look for your patterns around giving. Do you choose when to give gifts or do you give out of a sense of obligation? Do you resent having to participate in a pool at work to buy a baby shower gift or a secret Santa gift? Are you wishing that you didn’t have to buy something for that Aunt that you don’t care for? And what about saying ‘no’? Are you giving your precious time to causes that you do not want to support but feel you must out of obligation to someone else? Are you giving away your own talents and gifts without the energy exchange they deserve? Are you giving away your power by allowing others to tell you how to think and how to believe and what you ‘should’ be doing?

Hold onto yourself and your integrity. Learn to give from that higher space where the giving comes from a joy within yourself. Say ‘no’ when it feels right. Give what is comfortable for you to give. Think about the other person and lift up your energy level so you are giving from a generous spirit toward them no matter what you might think.

To give you must also learn how to receive. Do you give and give and yearn for those recipients to give back to you? Or if someone tries to give to you, even a compliment, do you know how to receive generously? ‘Giving to get’ where you give because you want or expect to get something back [like love and approval] is not the generous giving that is a high vibrational energy. And when you can’t receive from a generous place you can affect the energy of the exchange.

Give to yourself. Honor your time, energy, resources. And learn to allow others to give to you by accepting gifts because they were given, not with a judgment about value or price or intention. Practice having a generous spirit on both sides of the giving equation.

MYSTIC MESSAGE: from The Divine Feminine: Giving — A New Way to Think About It

Dear Ones,

We would talk to you today about the concept of giving to others.

There is a teaching that Giving is greater than Receiving but, to many people, this has become an admonition to avoid receiving and a judgment against giving to oneself. We would like to discuss changing your thinking regarding this concept.

Now, we are not going to say that it is not a good thing to be a giving person, for it IS good to give. But if you allow yourself to consider giving to others as more important than giving to yourself you will find yourself depleted of resources for the next person in line after you have given all you have to give. This is not just about physical presents but also your time, your energy, your resources, your thoughts and beliefs, your body. There are so many ways that you can give yourself away until you have nothing left to give. We want you to change your thinking about this.

Giving to others is a wonderful energy that creates a high vibrational frequency for all involved. That means that the recipient of gifts also has their frequency raised by the experience when the giving is of the proper energy. But, and this is a big ‘but,’ if you give out of resentment or a wish to be doing something else or an anger, at someone else or at yourself for getting yourself into yet another situation over which you feel you have no control or for which you wish you had said ‘no’ instead of ‘yes,’ then you are giving from a low vibration energy that impacts others as well as yourself. What are you truly giving under these circumstances?

Do not give when you feel yourself in a negativity associated with a lower vibration, for others do not deserve that ‘gift’ of negativity. Whatever you are feeling projects outward into the Universe and impacts those around you. When you are feeling anger or hatred or resentment you project a vibration that taints the very air around you. It is not kind to subject others to that low vibration and you certainly don’t want to do that in a gift-giving situation.

Rather, lift yourself up by thinking of something positive about the situation or the person or the gift before you connect with another. And it is best to do this before you are committed to the giving. Are you feeling forced to buy a gift for someone you do not particularly like? Then ask why you are doing this. If it is an obligation, such as a family member or a work colleague, and you feel you must do this, then find something positive to consider to lift your energy level. Did they once do something for you? Can you give them something for their smile? Do they support a cause you believe in? Are they a good parent? Will your giving a nice gift raise the vibration of the relationship?

Sometimes the giving is not of a gift but of yourself and your own resources. Ask yourself why you are in this situation. Be very honest with yourself. Perhaps you are already committed to this situation at this time but can you make a conscious decision to say ‘no’ next time? If you feel you have given away your power to another by accepting blindly their beliefs, adopting their thinking, subjugating your own desires to theirs, then you must seriously examine the relationship. Why are you willing to make a gift of yourself if it depletes who you are?

Give to yourself the respect, honor and resources that you deserve. Give to yourself the time you need to replenish your energy so that you can be generous to others. Take care of your needs so that you remain in a position to give to others when they are in need. Be very careful about giving away your own power to others – it is your most precious resource.

And keep yourself thinking positive thoughts so that your energy is always at a high vibrational energy. Give this to yourself and you will be a more generous giver to others.

And so it is.
