ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: The Power of Connection

Who are you, really? Are you connected to your inner essence or are you going through the motions of your daily life, waiting for ‘someday,’ or retirement or the kids to leave home? Are you truly connected to your Life Purpose? Do you feel you have a connection to inner wisdom and guidance when you have a question?

‘Connection’ isn’t just about the electricity that flows through your house, waiting for a lamp to be plugged in and connecting. Sometimes we can fool ourselves into believing that we have to do something to get connected, just like that lamp.

But the truth is that we are always in a state of connection. All we have to do is to remember that this is so.

You are connected to your Higher Self at all times. Do you take advantage of that connection and access the wisdom that is available there?

You are connected to Source Energy, the energetic flow that is the source of abundance in the Universe.

You are connected to the Angels and Spirit Guides who can help you in your life but they are waiting for you to invite them in, to remember your connection.

And you are connected to other people through the cords of connection that have been established throughout time. Some of these connections are working for the highest good of all involved and others are drains of energy that aren’t supportive of your personal growth. Do you know how to determine the difference and what to do to disconnect the energies that don’t sustain you?

Connection is an energetic that, at its highest level, we all seek. We want to feel connected to others, to our guidance, to Source. In seeking we sometimes forget that it is not to be found outside ourselves, but to be remembered as an inner truth.

Are you seeking Connection? Are you feeling disconnected or connected to energy drains instead of supportive energies? What are you going to do about this?

Let 2014 be the year that you decide to connect to the parts of yourself that you have disowned, have disconnected yourself from. Decide to connect to the energies that support your personal growth this year. Find experts who can help you connect/disconnect as you need.

Start with connecting to your inner guidance. How do you do this? Meditation is a good way to start. Get still and listen to that inner voice.

Pay attention to the signals you receive from your intuition. Journal and allow yourself to write whatever wants to flow through your pen. Take a class that gives you an opportunity to make the connection to inner guides, your Higher Self.

Sometimes you are connected to energy that drains you. Learn how to disconnect or find someone to help you disconnect the cords that are holding you back from growth. Connection is as much about connecting to the energies that are supportive as it is about disconnecting from those that are not. You might need expert help to detach from energies that you aren’t conscious of being there. You will feel free when you have taken care of this.

Connect to like-minded people who support you along your path and with whom you can share your gifts to support them. This is not the time to be isolated from what is going on around you. The world has fewer boundaries than it used to and you are called to reach across the miles to those with whom it is time for you to connect. With 21st Century technology you can stay connected around the globe. It is no longer necessary that you find a tribe with which to connect in your own back yard.

Most importantly, connect with your higher purpose, the reason you are living this life on Planet Earth. Discover your Life Purpose and commit to it. When you connect to Purpose you feel fulfillment and joy. You will find your days opening before you with wonder and light. And you will be connecting to the other souls who have been waiting for you to show up and connect.

Do it now!

ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: You are a Multi-Dimensional Being!

Let’s hear what The Divine Feminine say about this:

“Dear Ones,

We are The Divine Feminine and speak to you from the Realm of The Divine Feminine. This is one of the Dimensions that you have been hearing about.

There is nothing scary about dimensions or the beings that inhabit them. Our role in coming into your life is to assist you in your path of personal growth.

You can think of us as your Higher Self, that Voice of Wisdom that you hear on the inside. Some might call our messages ‘Intuition’ and that is fine, for no matter how you label the guidance that you receive, the important thing is to discern and to heed that guidance.

Consider that you are living with a Conscious Mind and an Unconscious Mind at this very moment. Your Conscious Mind is thinking about the words that you are reading and your Unconscious Mind is keeping the systems of your physical body operating without your conscious involvement. In this very same moment your Higher Conscious Mind is connecting you to spiritual dimensions that afford you the opportunity to learn and to grow and to expand your awareness and understanding.

Are you so focused on your physical experience that you are ignoring the information coming to you through your Higher Conscious Mind? Sometimes the messages are subtle, such as those contained in your nighttime dreams. Sometimes they are what you might label as ‘coincidence’ or ‘synchronicity.’ And sometimes the messages are attention-getting in their impact on your life, such as an illness or accident or relationship upheaval.

Most assuredly, however, there are messages available to you from the many Dimensions in which you dwell.

Some people have easier access to the information in these Dimensions than others and we speak through them to get the message out to the broader audience. All of you, though, have the ability to perceive messages for yourself when you listen to the guidance you are already receiving.

When we say that you must use discernment this is not to scare you or to make you concerned about so-called ‘negative energies’ or the source of your guidance. The means of discernment are simple. How do you feel when you receive the information? Does it make you feel uneasy because it contains judgment or criticism or invites you to do something about which you feel uncomfortable? Is that discomfort because you are being invited to stretch your comfort level into a new expansions of your personal growth or is there a moral component to your unease?

True guidance contains wisdom that leads you in the direction of your personal growth and spiritual expansion. You will never feel judged or criticized by a guide who is helping you to grow because every experience is a growth opportunity. If you feel uncomfortable it might be because your beliefs have led you to interpret as truth an old tape playing from your history that has nothing to do with your current lessons.

It is helpful to consult with someone who can assist you in creating clear connections to your guidance and to help you learn to discern the guidance that you can act upon and that which is coming from your beliefs and ego.

Keep thinking of yourself as a multi-dimensional human and you will learn that you have access to information, guidance, wisdom, help from many sources.

And so it is.”

Rosemary comments: Trust that you have the connections you need to be guided in your life. If you don’t feel you can hear the guidance, ask for help!

EXPLORATION: Tap into Your Inner Guidance

Did you know that you have an internal Guidance System that is like a GPS for your life?   It’s there and it’s always available, but you must learn to crank up the volume and trust the guidance you receive.

Unlike the navigation system [or SatNav, as our friends in other countries call it] in your car, your internal GPS really DOES know the best route for you to take through your life.  This is the guidance that keeps you on track for living your Soul Purpose.  It’s important to learn how to turn this guidance system on.

The first step to tapping into your inner guidance is to take a deep breath and bring your attention to your inside being, your inner self.  When you focus on deep breathing you energize your inner being and begin to disconnect from the outer turbulence we call ‘life.’

After a few deep breaths, bring your awareness to your heart area so that you are connecting at a deeper level than at your conscious mind, which will only distract you with ‘what ifs’ and ‘how abouts.’   Your goal here is to get to the guidance that is connected to your higher self so that you can ‘see’ the road ahead of you without worrying about the distractions around you.

Now ask your question.  If you feel the answer in a feeling or a sound or a vision, then just stay with that until you understand the message.  Sometimes the answer comes as a soft voice speaking in a way that you can understand.  Sometimes it is a symbol that you can interpret by examining it further.  Sometimes the message is very clear and sometimes it is subtler.  But there is always a message, for even if you don’t experience a message, the answer might be ‘Pause’ or ‘Wait.’

You’ll know you’ve reached guidance that comes from a higher vibration than your ego if the message is neutral, that is, devoid of emotion or judgment or ‘should.’  Guidance that starts with ‘You shouldn’t have…’ or ‘What were you thinking of…’ is from the ego and not your highest self, so keep seeking a deeper connection if you start to feel yourself judged in any way.

It usually takes some practice to be clear about the inner guidance you are receiving.  I’ve worked with some clients who, over time, learn to catch themselves in that self-judgment so that they can avoid the trap of beating themselves up for mistakes.  There are no mistakes, only LESSONS.  If you keep repeating an action and getting the same results, then you are stuck in the same lesson.  Look around for what you are to learn.  When the time is right, you will get it!

We once drove a rental car in California from the Napa Valley to Big Sur and decided that we wanted to take the Golden Gate Bridge instead of the freeway on the other side of the water, which is the route our GPS [affectionately called ‘Nuvi’ after the model name] preferred that we take.  Can you hear that voice saying ‘Recalculating’ every time we ignored Nuvi’s advice?  After about 5 ‘Recalculatings,’ and I’m certain I heard her voice getting more and more disgusted, Nuvi finally said, ‘There IS a better route available!’ [Emphasis Nuvi’s!]

Our inner guidance never gets that judgmental!  We just keep plodding along and our inner guidance system quietly ‘Recalculates’ to keep bringing our lessons to us.

Take some time this week to practice tapping into your own inner guidance system.  There is a lot of good information available there about the road ahead.  And there are lots of tools that you can learn for additional ways to tap in.  Stay tuned for that information!

MUSE-INGS: Step into the Flow

Sometimes I think we’re all striving to achieve something that will allow us to say, ‘I have arrived!’ when what we really want to do is be so in the flow that we are enjoying each moment too much to stop and ‘arrive.’

This is the journey we were born to experience. Every step along the way has the gift of a lesson to be learned, some more gentle than others. But always there is an opportunity to learn. If we resist, if we try to stand our ground in the face of the energy of flow, we spend all of our energy in futile resistance. [Just ask any Trekkie and you will hear, ‘Resistance is futile’!]

It’s easy, though, to move to the two extremes of the concept of ‘being in flow.’

For some, it seems easier to ‘go with the flow’ and relinquish all power to choose the direction of life. For others, there is an urge to constantly resist or try to ignore the energy of the flow, the ‘ostrich syndrome.’ Neither choice makes life the journey of fulfillment that it can be.

When, instead, we choose to determine our Soul Purpose and then to follow the path of fulfilling that purpose, we are participating in the flow of life.

No one’s path is the same as another person’s. This needs to be emphasized, especially when we get into relationships and try to make the relationship move as two people in lockstep trying to move forward as one. Each of us must determine our own path, our own cycle, our own rhythm. And we must take responsibility for taking the actions that keep us in flow with our unique path.

Giving over your power to another person, group, institution, church takes you out of step with your Path of Soul Purpose. Making a conscious choice, however, to join paths with others at certain points along the journey, is your prerogative. But th e choice must be a conscious one, not one in which you allow yourself to step onto someone else’s path because you are not seeking your own. Your Path is Your Path, based on your unique Soul Purpose and Soul Journey.

When your life cycle seems to be at an ebb it is sometimes tempting to allow someone else to take charge of the direction of your path, but this is giving away your power.

Face the direction of your dreams and you will see the Path of Your Soul Purpose unfolding before you. Step onto that path. Have confidence that, when you are moving with the flow of the cycles of your life, you will have everyone around you that you need, all the resources that you need, all the opportunities to learn your lessons.

And if you are unhappy with where you are at the moment, remind yourself that ‘this, too, shall pass’ as the new cycle will begin soon!

Most of the clients I work with as a coach are in some period of transition in their lives, feeling that there must be something more or that there is something that is just beyond their reach. Usually the work is connecting them to their guidance so that they can step out confidently, thinking only about the next step, what is theirs to do in this present moment. This is learning to get into flow.

Focus on the one next step along the Path. Know and recognize the Path of Your Soul Purpose, then follow it.

Go with the flow! But first learn the flow for you!

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Cycles, Rhythms and YOU!

Cycles. Rhythms. Seasons.

Everything in your world is made of energy and energy has a flow inherent in its properties. Nothing can sit still within the flow.

You can try to stand perfectly still and let the world around you flow by. But you will be resistance in the unfolding of all that is surrounding you and it will take a lot of energy for you to resist flowing with the energies as they move.

Some people try to resist and even to move backward against the current of the flow, but they can be swept away by the tide when it overpowers them.

Flowing with the cycles of energy provides the choice that contains the least resistance, preserving much of your own energy for you to consciously choose to allocate to other endeavors. This does not mean that you give over your own personal power to what is happening around you. Rather you go within yourself to connect to the energy flow that is appropriate to you and your Path of Soul Purpose.

The steps to living within the flow are easy to master. First, you must learn to tap your own inner wisdom for guidance about the direction that is in consonance with your Path of Soul Purpose. Are you clear about your Soul Purpose? Do you know who you were born to be at this time on Planet Earth? When you know the direction that allows you to fulfill your purpose, you have the context from which to evaluate the guidance you receive from your inner wisdom.

Do you know how to access your inner wisdom? Meditation, journaling, guided imagery, hypnosis, and other tools of inner exploration will put you in touch with your own inner wisdom for the guidance that shines a light on your Path. With the information you receive, you are ready to move forward.

After you have received inner guidance about the direction of your path, you must then take action in that direction. It is not enough to know where you are headed. If you don’t put one foot before the other and move, you will be standing in that current resisting the flow. The next step to living within the flow is an actual step.

Step out in the direction you have determined is yours to follow. Move. Take guided action. FEEL the sensation of being in the flow of energy that will carry you forward. Each step brings you closer to allowing the current to carry you so with the steps you take you can relax and allow yourself to be supported on your journey.

The cycles of Life lift you up and sometimes allow you to slow, just as the waves of the ocean come into shore and then recede. When you are flowing with Life you do not resist the periods that are slow – you allow yourself to make the conscious choice to be in that perfect state. Just as the seasons of the year invite you to act differently so that you can stay in alignment with the differing energies of each season, so the cycles of your Life, of the Conscious Life, invite you to make the choices that are most appropriate to the energies within that cycle.

Be active when the guidance suggests that you are active. Be still when the energies invite you to go inside. Move slowly or quickly as you are guided.

The more you practice understanding the energy of your own flow the smoother will be your passage through the cycles, rhythms and seasons of your Life!

And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: Big Bands and the Evolution of Consciousness

Do you remember when you were a teenager and your parents complained about your music? I do!

My Dad played in a big band and I grew up listening to Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. Then came folk music – Peter, Paul & Mary and The Kingston Trio. The Beatles and the British Invasion arrived next. The progression goes on. But my parents remembered when THEIR parents objected to the music they enjoyed in the 40s & 50s. I’m sure their parents shocked my great-grandparents with the Roaring Twenties music!

How easy it is to dismiss what is new. How easy it can be to dismiss the messenger who brings in the new. And, yet, isn’t each messenger wanting to be heard?

What is the new message coming to you? It might not even be from young people but the source might be your intuition, your own personal guidance system. Are you listening?

It’s easy to look outside ourselves and consider the source of information so that we can justify dismissing it. Sometimes it is more difficult to look inside to find and listen to the guidance that we find there. Do you honor your own inner guidance?

Maybe the way to start honoring intuition it to start listening to the messages from the young people. They might actually be more tuned in than we, the ‘old folks,’ are!

Now I’m not advocating having to listen to the music of the next couple of generations if you don’t like it, but really listen to that younger person’s view of the world.

When our daughter was starting in school she told a story about a little girl in her class and I tried to get her to describe the girl to me, although I knew it was an African-American girl in a mostly white student classroom. Mindy said, ‘You know her, Mommy, she’s the one with the braids!’ It never occurred to her to differentiate the little girl from herself by the difference in the color of skin. I was excited that, in the new generation, the person was not identified by race. What a change from my parents’ generation, with separate water fountains and different parts of the bus! The children were teaching us to let go of old notions of differences.

What can you learn today from the young people around you? Enjoy the exploration! Have a conversation with a young person where you really listen to them. Ask questions and honor them when they open up. They’re really pretty cool. [But don’t say that because that’s an old person’s term!]

Be willing to explore new ideas even if they come from someone younger. We oldsters know a lot, and the world can learn from our wisdom, but sometimes we see through fixed bifocals, with only our own perspective, not seeing all the possibilities that are present.

Be willing to evolve your own thoughts by considering new ideas before you dismiss them. Old and young alike are being called to help all of humanity to evolve. Don’t be the one who holds back human evolution. Contribute, by opening yourself to the possibility of changing how you think.

Your creative juices can flow when you consider ideas, but if you lock yourself behind the doors of your fixed opinions, you get stuck.

Stay in the flow. Be a part of the Consciousness Evolution!

MUSE-INGS: “The Muse Speaks” by Rosemary Bredeson

‘I do everything the voices in my head tell me to do’ reads the tee shirt.  Or the husband wears the one with ‘I do everything the voices in my wife’s head tell her to tell me to do.’

We joke about hearing a voice so much that we label as insane anyone who says they hear a voice.  But why is that so bad?  Granted, there are some people who are not able to distinguish between their life and a myriad of voices that they hear and they do have a struggle with sanity.  But sane people can be connected with other voices and can learn from the guidance available.

I have a friend who suffered from Meniere’s Disease and had pain and ringing in her ears.  It lasted for 7 years until she agreed that she would channel the guidance coming from a Muse named ‘Rose.’  The disease went away when she started sharing the messages she was receiving.  She is sane and has been very helpful to a lot of people since that day.

My granddaughter used to give people messages from their power animals when she was 5-6 years old.  She was hearing what the animals wanted the person to know that day.  She is now a happy, healthy teenager who wants to be a veterinarian.

I could list a lot of people who have heard voices.  Have you ever felt a voice inside that seems to be saying, ‘Call your friend’?  And when you do, your friend says, ‘I was just thinking about you’?  We’ve all had this experience.

When faced with issues in our lives we often focus on the ‘Woe is me!’ thought instead of asking for and listening to guidance.  And when faced with the proverbial blank page at the start of a creative project, who hasn’t wished they had The Muse standing in the room with them to drop the ideas into their head?

Often when I work with clients, especially in the Mystic Transformation Days where we spend a whole day together delving into developing their roadmap through the next steps for them, the messages come through with new possibilities, new ways to view what is going on, new insights and tools and directions to follow.  In that way, I can act as a Muse, an inspiration, reaching beyond the problems into other dimensions where the solutions dwell.

Anyone who is willing can learn to reach into those solution spaces by allowing their thoughts to drift into ‘What if?’ territory.  Staring at a blank page of paper doesn’t necessarily bring ideas with which to fill the paper, but relaxing one’s vision as one looks at the paper can allow an image to emerge that calls the person to become a scribe for The Muse.

It is said that many geniuses took naps to find solutions to their problems.  This allows the person to get out of their own way and to allow creative ideas to emerge.  Contact your Muse while you sleep.  Incubate the dream of your solution or the germ of your creative idea by simply asking, before you sleep, for your Muse to inspire you [and to help you remember the dream!].

Try living your life this week in the ‘What if?’ mode and see what possibilities your Muse shows you!  And, if you get stuck, I’m happy to be Your Muse!
