Back in Santa Ana and excited about moving forward with the West Coast Tour 2011!  Had a fabulous 11 days in Arizona – even extended by a day because we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the resort after the Baeth Davis ‘Gifted’ Event!  It was great to visit with all our friends from North America, UK, Australia. There is nothing like attending a multi-day event where you get to spend quality time with friends so you can deepen the heart relationships you have built.  Doesn’t it feel sometimes as if your friendships are being experienced in quick little bites, short phone calls,  and maybe an evening out occasionally?  It was wonderful to get into deep conversations and really explore with each other.  And I, of course, enjoyed being with my hubby for a week!

We celebrated our son’s 35th birthday with him and it was a treat to just hang out and chat.  Our children have grown into such interesting adults that I would want to be friends with them even if they weren’t related to me.  If your kids are still young, this is what you have to look forward to.  Oh, and then there are the grandchildren…

The theme this week is around heart-centered living.  Focus on your heart all week and see if some things in your life shift a bit.  Do the exercise in the Mystic Message each day and see if your day takes on a different light.  And remember that a smile is a gift from your inner spirit to another’s.

I’m heading back to Arizona on Wednesday, September 21st, for the Ali Brown MPC Platinum Retreat at the Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale.  If you are in that area, please connect!  I’m on a panel for the eWomenNetwork chapters Friday, September 23rd and am doing a Conversation with The Other Side on the 24th.  Plus I’ll be available for private sessions while I am in Scottsdale.  I would love to see you there!  After Arizona it’s up the West Coast!  Hope to connect with all my West Coast friends during the coming weeks.

We’re still in the waning energy of September 12th’s Full Moon so keep releasing what doesn’t serve you in your life.  What baggage are you carrying that is weighing you down?  Let it go!

Then he was tied to a stake in the Campo de’ Fiori and burned to death. The records of Bruno’s long prosecution by the Inquisition have been lost but one of his major heresies was cosmological. He advocated that other stars were like our sun, and that they could each support planets teeming with life. Orthodox thought of the time preferred to think that Earth and humanity were unique.”

Is it any wonder that we hesitate to examine new ideas when being burned at the stake might be our reward? Of course, we are not usually physically burned at the stake in the 21st Century for putting forth a new idea, but we sometimes, at an unconscious level, fear that punishment, and for some of us, the social consequences seem just as dire. So choose to overcome the fear and explore. The Hubble Space Telescope has proven Bruno to be correct!

MUSE-INGS: Pursue That New Idea!

New ideas float around all the time. Sometimes it’s fun to follow a new idea to see where it leads. And sometimes the new idea challenges us to explore those values that we have clung to for a long time, believing that they represented the truth. What do you do when you encounter a new idea?

Our habitual patterns dictate how we react when we encounter something new. In the animal kingdom there is often a wariness of something new being introduced into the environment. Have you ever watched a cat when a bug walks across its path. It sniffs, it bats at it, it might pick up the bug in its mouth and carry it around for awhile. The cat is playing with this ‘thing’ as it figures out what it is and what to do with it.

So often we do not allow ourselves to ‘play’ with an idea, to ponder it for awhile and let it unfold and display itself fully to us. Have you ever rejected something new as a knee-jerk reaction before you’ve fully explored it? We have probably all done that once or twice! But what if we decide that we will not reject new ideas out of hand when they are presented to us? What if we decide today to give ourselves a chance to stay with an idea, to play with it as the cat plays with the bug, to explore or to ponder that idea until we have learned what we can about and from that idea? We might even go so far as to decide that the idea has merit and we wish to adopt that idea as being true for us at this time.

When we force ourselves to cling to old thought, old ideas because they are comfortable to us we narrow our vision of the world until we cannot see expansively into the realm of ‘the greater’ – that which is beyond our little truth and exists in the cosmos as a reality of greater proportion than our own limited perspective. What would we believe if all humans of the past several centuries had done this? We would not have our understanding of the heavens if Galileo and Copernicus and Kepler had not worked with new ideas to advance our ability to learn about the cosmos and we would not have the Hubble Space Telescope sharing new information about our origins. If Einstein had not developed his theory of relativity, or Newton his ideas, or any number of other scientists had decided not to explore down avenues that had no known conclusion, we would all be living a very different life.

And it is not just the scientists who advance thought. The philosophers do it, too. What if the philosophers throughout time had not pondered the bigger questions for us? What would we believe today?

You might think that you are not a scientist or a philosopher, but you are. You are a human living in 21st Century Earth and you are therefore a co-creator of your reality. Your thoughts are things and become reality. Why would you choose to think the thoughts of days gone by simply because they are familiar and comfortable? Are you not curious about where new ideas might lead you? Do you have a desire to be a creative force in your own life?

Then allow yourself to ponder great questions. Read up on new thought and decide for yourself what you accept and what you question. Pursue that which you are interested in exploring further. Encourage those around you, especially the children, to be curious explorers of ideas. Challenge them to dig more deeply into an idea that intrigues them. Support your friends and family when they come up with something that is new to you. Foster the concept of research. Allow human consciousness to expand.

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Think New Thoughts!

Dear Ones,

The measure of a person is not meant to be their business success or financial worth and it is not meant to be judged by others. Each individual must determine for himself or herself whether or not they feel that they are ‘measuring up’ to their life purpose, their reason for being on Planet Earth today.

How often do you ask yourself what your contribution to the growth of human consciousness has been today? Have you helped someone reach for a higher understanding today? Have YOU reached for a higher understanding today? What ideas have you spent your precious time researching or pondering or discussing? What new thoughts have you been evaluating? Whose spirits have you spent your energy uplifting today?

These are the activities of someone who is living their life purpose and contributing to the growth of human consciousness. Are you incorporating these activities in your day? And how do you evaluate your day? Are you valuing the time you spend pondering big questions or exploring new ideas, or do you only value the time in which you are being ‘productive’ according to society’s views?

When time is precious to you you realize that you have no time to waste on activities that do not advance all of humanity. Small thinking limits you and all those in your sphere of influence. Backward thinking, that is, embracing and idolizing the thinking of times past without updating that thinking to embrace new aspects of thought, holds back the advancement of all of humanity and serves no one except those who delight in having power over those who choose not to evolve. Be very careful not to contribute your energy to the efforts to hold back the advancement of human knowledge and consciousness!

Know that you can advance all of humanity by having one new thought and spending time pondering that thought. You create a new pathway in your brain when you have a new thought. You strengthen it when you think of it again, when you ponder that thought. The thought generates an energy, and that energy radiates from your electric brain into the collective consciousness and others can pick up on that thought and advance it. This synergy of thought pulls all of humanity onward in the growth of consciousness.

You might be wondering why this is important but we would say to you that it is the only thing that is important. Humans are designed to grow, to think, to think new thoughts, to wonder, to ponder, to cogitate. When people agree to stop thinking for themselves, when they decide to be only the followers of thoughts that are planted in their consciousness rather than to explore ideas on their own, then they are choosing to halt the advancement of all of human consciousness. Why do people choose to do this?

Out of fear. Fear is the reason that people hold back and ask to be told what to believe. People are afraid they will be disconnected from their tribe. They are afraid that they will be alone or unloved or even harmed if they disagree with the leaders to whom they have given their power. And people are afraid that, if they venture into the unknown they will lose their value to the group.

Many people refuse to dissent because they want to belong. This ‘herd mentality’ takes the entire tribe over the precipice into the space where they have no power to influence the outcome of their situation. It is important that you, as you learn to live a conscious life, decide that never again will you remain a part of the herd.

Step out and think the thoughts that take you into virgin territory, into the arena of new neural networks in your brain. Dare to explore ideas that those around you might be frightened of or might even disdain. Be fully human and test out new thought for yourself. Be fully human in the 21st Century and blaze a trail to a new consciousness. Everyone hearing these words has the potential to be this trail-blazer!

And so it is.

NEWS FROM ROSEMARY

Greetings from Phoenix, Arizona this week! We are here to attend Baeth Davis’ ‘Gifted’ Event and are enjoying being with so many friends while we learn more about scientific hand analysis and how to take our gifts out into the world. Although I am happy to be with friends, I must admit that I am not thrilled about being in 100+ degree weather every day! I’m not a happy camper in the heat.

What causes you to be ‘not a happy camper’ and what do you do about it? This week’s challenge is to ponder new thoughts. I am grateful that some inventor somewhere along the way was able to come up with the idea of air conditioning! [Maybe he/she lived in Phoenix!] Sometimes we approach new ideas with trepidation or fear but I think it’s important to be explorers.

And so I am offering Conversation with The Other Side in several cities on the West Coast to share with attendees ideas/messages from angels, guides, loved ones – new thoughts to ponder that can help you live a more confident, more fulfilling life. I did a Conversation in Phoenix this week and received some amazing messages. There will be another one coming up in Santa Ana and then one back in Arizona [Scottsdale next time] on September 24th. Whether we are offering nurturing and love to a physical child in the present day or to our own inner child who seeks what it feels it has not had, our task is to nurture and love the children. We must do our own inner child work to achieve success and we must help the children around us today to believe that they are worth listening to now, that they are worthy of nurturing and love, so that they can achieve the success they desire now and later in life. Listen to ALL the children!

MUSE-INGS: Where the Children Lead

Where the children lead, we must learn to follow.

It’s an interesting concept but we’ve heard it before. We also need to heed it now.

The children are trying to tell us something about the world in which they wish to live. Have you talked to a young person about the environment lately? They accept recycling as a way of life. They care about trees and forests and animals that are endangered. They care about football and baseball and shopping at the mall, too, but they are tuned into their environments and are following the intuitive guidance they receive about what will keep the planet safe for them to enjoy and what will destroy it.

Children also care about others. There are some amazing stories about young folks who hear about a problem, do a little research, start a lemonade stand or take up a collection, and do good works with what they have earned. These kids have something to teach us.

First, they listen. Really listen. And do we do that? Do we really listen to what is going on around us or do we leap to conclusions based on our pre-conceived notions or political perspective or religious views? Are we willing to ask a whole bunch of questions until we get enough answers to form an opinion, or do we form an opinion and stop asking questions?

When our granddaughter was 7 it was a national election year in the US and she listened to presidential debates with the candidates, asked questions, and then decided which candidate she thought would be the best president. She really did sit through long debates and ask cogent questions. [I found it hard to sit through those tedious debates!] But she was astonished to learn t hat she could not vote in the election because she was too young. She was outraged! I did take her to the polling place on election day so that she could wave a poster of her preferred candidate, about the only thing that a 7-year-old can do about an election.

But what was she trying to show us? She modeled how an educated electorate participates in a democracy. She took time to ask questions. She reviewed information. Do we do that? In how many situations do we do the research, ask the questions and, most importantly, weigh information before we form an opinion that a hurricane couldn’t move us to change?

What about the child inside of you? Do you listen to the voice of that scared, timid, insecure child or do you ignore the voice? Maybe there is a better way to work with your inner child than to try to shut him/her up. Perhaps really listening and then offering reassurance would lay to rest the fears instead of allowing them to operate within you at an unconscious level. With many of the clients with whom I work this is an issue where we focus the coaching. Buried inside each of us are the children that we once were, the ones who reacted to the parenting that we received, who were told a worldview to which they must subscribe. But also buried within us are the children who were dreamers, the ones who knew that this world could be a better place and who wanted to be the ones to bring that better world into existence.

‘You may say I’m a dreamer, But I’m not the only one.’ Remember that song – Imagine, by John Lennon? Let’s return to being the dreamers that our inner children were. Let’s allow the children around us to have and to pursue their dreams for a better world. Let’s listen, really listen, to the messages from all the children, inner and outer, as they lead us into that better world. And let’s commit to support the dreams that all people have.

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Are You Open to New Thought?

Dear Ones,

How do you treat the children in your life?  What is your attitude toward them?  The children with whom you associate are your lifeline to the future of your family, your society and your culture.  Are you planting seeds of greatness in those children or are you trying to make them smaller versions of you, in all your limitations, beliefs and past-focused thinking?

Children are brought into the world to be the way-showers of the succeeding generations.  They are not intended to become younger versions of their parents but many parents attempt to do just that.  How much freedom did your parents give you to grow and to become what you would?  Have you ever longed  for the opportunity to stretch beyond the vision that your parents might have had for you, or for themselves, to see what lies beyond what you could see?

This, then, is the gift that you can give the children in your Life.  Not just the ones that you have born in your body or sired yourself, but also those who are stepchildren, nieces and nephews, neighbors and godchildren, friends, family, children of the world.  Give the gift of a dream to the children who are on Planet Earth today.

If they are your children, what model are you giving them?  Are you continuing to expand your own horizons, continuing to learn and explore new ideas, trying new experiences, meeting new people?  Isn’t this what you would wish for your children to do in their own lives?  You must model this for them.

Do you find yourself always correcting your children, or holding them up to some standard, perhaps the one to which your parents held  you up, and judging them to be somehow deficient because they don’t meet those standards?  Do you feel that you always know what is best for them without allowing them to speak and to discuss their feelings with you?

We ask all of these questions of you because the way that you treat the children in your life demonstrates how you treat the new ideas, creative solutions and novel products or processes that you encounter in your life.  If you treat your children as the teachers that they really are, coming into the world with fresh new ideas about things you considered fixed in concrete, then you can grow through your experience of the world through the eyes of the children.  If, on the other hand, you believe that you have all the answers and they have only questions, then you rob yourself of the delight to be had in seeing through children’s eyes the wonders that are around you.  You cheat yourself of the possibilities for growth t hat are inherent in having young eyes size up a situation with a fresh perspective.  You deny the world the ‘new’ and condemn it to repeat the errors of the past, limiting the thinking of those who might, instead, expand thought into new realms of consciousness.

New ideas are brought to human consciousness with every minute of human existence.  Those who refuse to consider that a new idea has merit doom humanity to live in an unconsciousness that is filled with darkness, with little hope of the Light.  But those who are willing to be led by the children with new ideas, new thoughts, new beliefs are assisting all of humanity in the evolution of consciousness and will find themselves living an expanded life.

Listen to the children.  Suspend your limited thinking and expand what you believe so that you can see a new reality.  This is the excitement of the times.  This is the gift of the children to the adults of th e world.  Step into the wonder with them and let them hold your hand to lead you to more Light.

And so it is.
