Do you find it hard to believe that the year is ¼ over already? Time is really flying by in 2012. I hope you are making the most of each of these fleeting days!

Here in Maryland we are enjoying Springtime and the fun of the outdoors. Baseball [Joshie is finally getting to use the catchers outfit that Mimi & Papa gave him for Christmas], walks in Nature to listen to the returning birds and see the awakening flowers, the changing of the clocks that lets us enjoy more sunlight in the evenings. It’s a great time for New Beginnings and New Projects.

And for our friends who are ending their summer in the Southern Hemisphere and getting ready for the turning of the temperatures in the other direction, how are you preparing for a new season to be upon you?

MUSE-INGS: Control Your Thoughts and Contribute

How mindful are you of the thoughts that you are contributing to the collective consciousness of all humanity?

That whole concept seems to carry a heavy burden of responsibility for the evolutionary process. And, yet, it really speaks to what it means to be fully human, doesn’t it?

If we think about the human beings who have inhabited Planet Earth for thousands of years, we can understand how thinking has evolved over time. The enslavement of cultures was widespread at one time and then some forward thinkers started looking at assimilation, rather than conquering and destruction, as a way to advance civilization. Sadly, we still have some of those old thinkers suppressing others but there are millions more of us who are calling out conquering for what it is and who are, at the same time, moving forward in our evolution of consciousness.

Advances in science, mathematics, astronomy [look at what the Hubble Space Telescope has taught us!], medicine, technology, and many more fields of endeavor have shown us that humanity is constantly questing for greater understanding of our world and the cosmos we inhabit. We are learning beings, always asking the questions that lead us forward. Inventors will tell you that there are often dead ends but every attempt brings with it new understanding, even if that understanding points to what doesn’t work.

Humanity has been through some of those ‘dead end’ experiments, too. Some ideologies haven’t worked. Some have worked for a few people but not for the majority. I believe the concept of Democracy, called ‘The Great Experiment,’ was born from a sense that government needed to go through it’s own evolutionary process and perhaps it was time to try something that might contain benefit for the majority. We are still in the middle of this experiment.

But those at the forefront of the evolution of consciousness are leaping forward in quantum leaps these days. Philosophers may not be labeling themselves as such but they abound. With the internet we have all become philosophers, sharing our thoughts as if they were peer-reviewed and Truth with a capital ‘T.’

Every thought that we think becomes part of the collective consciousness just as every thought that is shared on facebook or twitter becomes a part of the collective conversation. Is there, perhaps, too much sharing without careful self-control and self-awareness? Could we become a collective of brainwashed individuals instead of humans advancing their consciousness in the direction of deeper understanding of self and cosmos?

We are poised and ready to move forward as the human race. It is time for each of us to claim our power to control our thoughts, to examine our beliefs and to join the other humans in advancing human consciousness. To do this we must start with ourselves and our own thought processes.

All of our efforts should be focused in the direction of growth in awareness. We have more enlightened ways to raise children than in the past. We can interact with others in immediate ways and so must be cautious about the impact of that interaction – no longer can a handwritten letter sit on the desk for further reflection since we now pour out our thoughts in an email that is sent instantaneously. We question and we quest. New understanding becomes available every day.

Make some decisions today about how you will approach your personal growth. So many are worried about money today and classes abound in ‘making more money’ or ‘getting more clients.’ But are you healthy in your own thoughts about money? Have you worked to clear limiting beliefs?

People seem to be drifting away from religion but not finding the spiritual support they seek. Are you focusing on one aspect of your life and not all? Spiritual mentoring is not the same as coaching. I’m finding in my practice that the coaching part FOLLOWS the spiritual work, the personal growth work, the processing of thoughts and beliefs.

This is the advancement of human consciousness that is called for in these times. Do the work and you will be rewarded. It doesn’t work the other way around.

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Who’s Thinking YOU?

Dear Ones,

Today’s message is one that will lift your heart and make you smile.

Everything is happening as it must for the enfoldment of the Universe’s Plan for humanity.

You are an integral and important part of the Plan, for the evolution of human consciousness requires that each individual, who is by nature a part of human evolution, increase awareness of their own thoughts. Every thought that you have becomes energetically enfolded in the collective consciousness of all humanity. What are you contributing to this collective consciousness?

This powerful exercise of your human mind requires you to be careful of what you are contributing. This is why it is so important to claim your own thought processes and to be mindful of the energy that you are sending into the stream of consciousness that is the evolution of humanity.

And this is why you must claim your own inner power. Do not give this power over your thinking to anyone else. Those who would control your thoughts and beliefs are attempting to force their ideology into the collective consciousness. Do not let them.

YOU have the power over your own thoughts. YOU have the right to think and to question and to ponder and to wonder. You can change your thinking, shift your beliefs, adopt new ideas and discard old ones. You are on a path to your own empowerment as you read these words.

You are not alone in this process. There are millions of people who are soaring in their evolution of consciousness. There are millions more who are just waking up to the possibilities of expanded awareness and who are learning that their personal growth is intertwined with the evolution of all human beings. This is exciting!

So, today, take charge of your own evolutionary process. Notice your thoughts. Are you contributing to bringing in more Light or are your thoughts turning to darkness? Are you facing struggles with pessimism or with the Light of optimism and hope? Do your words reflect possibilities or lack? Are you feeling the energy of moving forward or are you feeling stuck?

This is why human beings are seeking spiritual guidance and mentors in 21st Century Consciousness. You are not alone and you can benefit from connecting with others who can help you to stay in charge of your thoughts, to shift your beliefs, to stay focused on the 21st Century possibilities instead of the old ideologies that have outlived their time on Planet Earth.

Enjoy being a valued contributor to the collective consciousness and relish your part in advancing evolution!

NEWS FROM ROSEMARY

Spring is officially here – hallelujah! I LOVE the Spring with it’s flowers and birds and new growth everywhere. It just feels good, doesn’t it? Here’s my whimsical picture peeking around the corner just as all the new life is peeking out in Springtime.

There is a true awakening energy in the Spring that I hope is moving within you as well. This is a great time to start new projects and to do some Spring cleaning, especially in your mind. What old ideas that are (or should be) gathering dust in there can you let go of now?

We’re still in the New Moon energy from the 22nd so use that energy to ride into some newness in your life. But remember that clearing limiting beliefs and negative thoughts really does come first.

Let your inner light shine with the return of the sunlight as the days grow longer. Are you ready to move out into the world in a bigger way? Are you claiming your Life Purpose? Are you moving forward in your consciousness? Are you doing the work for personal growth?

After the winter in our caves, it’s time to clear the cobwebs and emerge into the Light. If you think you are ready to do some of that ‘Spring Clearing’ then let’s talk about it! So maybe you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Every challenging conversation we have is carving new neural pathways in our brain. And every time we repeat an experience we deepen the hold that pathway has on us. Maybe it’s time to opt for ‘the more elaborate’ neuronal circuits and check in on the deepened pathways to make sure we want to keep them entrenched. Discussions that allow us to explore give us the option to create the new space in our brain for more elaborate, sophisticated understandings of human consciousness. I think I’ll keep growing ‘elaborate-ly’!

Muse-ings: Engage as an Explorer

It’s interesting to me that in the same message we are asked to get off our couches and go out to meet people and, while there, to engage them in discussions about ideas. I guess that means we are supposed to be having conversations that are deeper than the weather and the latest movie we’ve seen.

Do you have an avenue for those deeper conversations? Do you have a circle of friends with whom you can let down your hair and explore ideas or are your interactions about everyday affairs (or the affairs the neighbors or having), the kids, the price of gas, etc. and then you go back to your own couch? Maybe there’s something really profound in this message to ‘reach out.’

How do you explore ideas for yourself? Are you so wrapped up in your own everyday life that it’s difficult to find time to think about something beyond what you have to deal with today? Is there anyone with whom you feel you can safely explore an idea without being judged or ridiculed as you explore? Maybe it’s time to deepen our human relationships so that we CAN expand our consciousness.

In Colorado Springs we started a Spiritual Exploration Group that met once a month to discuss interesting topics, chosen by the members. Guests were welcomed but there was one rule: This group met to discuss ideas, not to judge them or to criticize or to convince someone else to believe the same way. We dubbed this rule the ‘Discussion not Dogma Rule.’ And we had some fascinating discussions! The topics ranged from angels and other spirit beings to numerology to the possibility of extraterrestrial life to parallel universes to the elements of time. It was a delight to join with one or two dozen others every month for a wonderful meal at our favorite Indian restaurant and engage in these deep discussions. The owners of the restaurant often sat with us to participate as they, too, found the topics fascinating.

Can you do something like this in your area? Do you know a few people who might like to get together for dinner occasionally and have a discussion group?

We’ll be restarting the Spiritual Exploration Group in the Annapolis, Maryland area soon and will also be doing this online as a video conference so that distant people can join in the discussion. How can you participate in ‘idea exploration’ with rules that make it safe to bring up anything you’re thinking about without worrying what others will think or say? Maybe your group starts with you and one trusted friend, but that’s okay.

The time is here for humanity to grow in consciousness. We cannot sit idly by and let others decide what the human consciousness level in the 21st Century will be simply because we choose not to engage in the discussions that are necessary. If we allow the discussions to take place without us we are abdicating our right to contribute to the expansion of consciousness which is a part of our Soul Purpose in being alive on Planet Earth in these times.

We have both a right and a responsibility to engage in the discourse, to explore ideas, to reach into the depths and allow our own consciousness to grow and expand. This is what being fully human in the 21st Century calls us to do. And, in the process, we become the expanded human being we are meant to BE.

Engage. Explore. Expand.

Come exploring with us. And remember that the conversations need to be ‘Discussion not Dogma’!

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Are You an Explorer?

Dear Ones,

Reach out. There are so many people on Planet Earth who are waiting for you to show up to be a partner to them in their life. You must reach out to them.

If you are asking how to do this then you are probably not yet playing in the ‘big playground of Earth.’ You must learn to reach out to others who are not in your normal or everyday life circumstances. Where do you spend your time? Are you reaching beyond the borders of your small world into the greater world outside? If not, then this is the time to do so.

For some of you, this means reaching outside your own city to visit nearby towns. For others, it is nearby or distant countries or traveling around the world. For some, it might be to reach out through the 21st Century airwaves to people around the world who are connected through cyberspace. And for some of you it is the small step with big impact – reach out from your home or office to connect to others who live not very far from you.

When humanity calls you to expand your consciousness it does not mean just to meditate and to think. It also means to reach out beyond the border of your own energy field to connect to other people who need to see your facial expressions, to shake your hand or give you a hug, to feel the energy of your smile and your intelligence as they interact with you. And there is also a gift to you in creating these interactions, for you will receive the benefit of their energy, their smile, their intelligence.

Too often we see people choosing to stay in their insular circles, allowing into their space only those who think the same way, believe the same things, view the world through the same lens. But your personal growth requires that you constantly try on new ideas, accepting or rejecting them on their own merits, but exploring them for how they can help you on your journey to higher consciousness. If you consistently isolate yourself from perspectives that differ from yours you will not be stimulated to grow.

Consider the oyster. If a grain of sand were never introduced into the oyster to become the irritant around which it forms a protective shield, there would never be a pearl to give to the human who enjoys it.

Ideas that can be discussed and explored without judgment or vitriol allow you to become the oyster creating the pearl of wisdom. Listen for the bit of truth in an irritating statement from someone else. Decide consciously if there is any merit or if you must reject the entire idea because it does not resonate with you or it is based on misinformation. Examine your own beliefs – do they need to be changed, updated, modified for today’s reality?

This, Dear One, is the life of the Spiritual Explorer. Others around you are also exploring, some more elegantly than others. Some like to hear their own ideas repeated and repeated without examination, merely accepted as whole fact, and those people do not like to have evidence presented that might contradict their idea or cause them to re-examine what they believe. Conversing with these people is like putting the grain of sand on the outside of the oyster and waiting for the pearl to appear. (It won’t.)

But there are many others around you who would welcome the opportunity to have honest discussions that can be explorations of ideas so that they can expand their awareness, their understanding and their consciousness. You must learn who these are and engage.

You must, also, learn how to have discussions without judgment and without anger, attack or belittling. Allow others to have opinions but be strong in your values so that you can assess what you are exploring from a point of higher consciousness.

You will benefit from stepping out of your normal space and becoming an explorer.

And so it is.
