Create Your Baby! – Richard’s Commentary

Rosemary and I just returned to the East Coast from LA and our first visit to our newest grandson, the baby who was the inspiration for Rosemary’s post this past Friday. It is wonderful to have a baby in the family again, even one who is 3000 miles away! We are now inspired to see him often, to watch him grow and to nurture him along his way, as only grandparents can!

And by writing this I have formed my own “baby”, one of my “next steps” in the process of living the life I choose. My intention is to play a significant role in Tristan’s life, no matter where his parents choose to live. Meeting him and being with him this past week reinforced his “calling” to us for our attention! Now I just have to make it all happen. How?

The answer is in Rosemary’s post:

The most important choice that you make is the choice of thoughts that you will think.

Really. This is most important. Your thoughts really do create your reality. Many people try to deny this but worrying about something you DON’T want energizes that which you don’t want. You want to program your unconscious mind to focus energy on that which you DO want and you make this happen by choosing your thoughts to support the direction of your creative dream.

So, I am choosing to think that I will spend significant time with Tristan as he grows and develops no matter how far apart we may live. I have been traveling much of my life for much less important reasons; I intend to continue my journeying well into the future! And I do know that my thoughts and intentions create my reality. Here is a minor story to prove Rosemary’s point.

During our trip to LAX from “the Valley” yesterday traffic was heavy – imagine that! But we had allowed plenty of time and neither of us was worried about our schedule. My boarding pass indicated I was “pre-cleared” through TSA to even save time through security screening. Rosemary set two intentions as we approached the airport: an easy bag-check process and she would join me in the “pre-cleared” line! I was so confident that we were in good shape that I set no intentions for myself as I dropped her with the bags and then left to return the rental car. Here’s where my lesson began!

As we pulled up to curb-check the bags a car was about to pull away where I needed to be; after a brief wait I pulled into that spot right in front of the skycap desk. As I got out and popped the trunk a skycap came to help with the bags; it couldn’t have been easier! I left Rosemary to get the claim checks and raced off to the rental agency.

And I hit a wall of traffic on Century Boulevard! It had been shut down to one lane for an emergency repair. I crept a car length or two through each light cycle. I finally made it to a gas station to top off the tank before returning the car; there the pump wouldn’t take my credit card so I had to go into the store twice, once to get the pump on and once to retrieve the receipt! After a half-hour delay and increasing tension I finally got on the bus to return to the airport and join Rosemary.

Security wasn’t too bad by this time and I breezed through on my pre-clearance. And Rosemary? Yes, she did talk her way into the pre-cleared line as well! We made it to our gate with plenty of time to spare!

Once again the power of intention, that “thoughts really do create reality” hit me over the head! Rosemary had set her intention for a very smooth bag-check and screening process. I had not paid attention nor set intention for a very smooth rental return process! And as I became frustrated in the traffic jam my frustration was compounded at the gas station!

A trivial example perhaps, but: Really. This is most important. Your thoughts really do create your reality.

PS: We will be seeing Tristan in November as he travels to the east coast for a family visit and again in December as we travel to LA on business! Thoughts really do create our reality!

It’s Crystal Clear… – Richard’s Commentary

I love crystals. I have been enjoying them, working with them, carrying them, giving them for many years. And while many of the beautiful crystals can be clear, it is often the ones that hold inclusions, clouds, shadows, phantoms, figures, faces, occlusions and a variety of designs that are even more beautiful. And it is this embedded complex structure that can hold great meaning for us.

In her post, Rosemary speaks of two kinds of crystals, those found in the Earth and those we hold within ourselves. Both kinds are instructive and carry information for us – if we are willing to “dig” for it. Here’s what she says about the crystals of Earth:

Think of the crystallized belief as a crystal from the Earth. Crystals have a consciousness that has been created over millions of years. Humans have not been on the planet that long. What information might be stored in that crystal for you?

The “consciousness” of crystals is what we need to mine. Yes, first we have to discover them in the Earth, un-Earth them. Then we have to discover their meaning for us, the messages they bring.

The second type of crystals Rosemary speaks about are those crystallized beliefs that block the flow in our lives:

Now look at the crystals within you for the messages that they hold for you. What does stuck energy want you to know so that you can move forward and let the energy flow again?

Here’s the deal: the Earth’s crystals can help us break free of the crystallized beliefs we carry – when we are ready. This is the true “healing potential” of these crystals.

The perfect example is people who either do or do not believe in crystals. First, the crystals are real, they exist just as any other form of matter exists. So, I believe in the existence of crystals. Second, they hold information; their very structure, often extraordinarily complex, is information. Third, we can read and interpret that information, use its meaning in insightful and intuitive ways. OK, this third point may be touching on a belief. Fourth, using the interpreted information to clear blocks, clear or modify the internal crystalline structures we want to release, is clearly a belief. And so are those blocks, holding us back from fulfilling our true purpose, beliefs. Clearing those blocks means adopting new beliefs, e.g. the belief that crystals can be effective in the healing process.

crstal spiralI have been working with a specific set of crystals for over a week now. (Pictured here) And I find myself opening up and flowing more than I ever have. I attended a “crystal meditation” the other evening with an array of crystals, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls and meditative sounds. I went into a deep and long “bliss state” as never before. Not only are crystals helping me clear stuck beliefs, they are helping me understand the deeper nature of reality.

One more quote from Rosemary:

Everything you need to know is available. You just need to know where to look and how to interpret what you find. Start with what you know are energy blocks. And be ready for the energy leap of personal growth to follow the crystal clarity!

Everything I need to know about reality is available. Crystals are real. Crystals heal. For me this is “crystal clear.”

MUSE-INGS: What is YOUR Reality?

Have you ever considered that maybe your view of ‘reality’ doesn’t match everyone else’s view?  And could there actually be more than one ‘realities’?

We see a lot of people in the current times declaring that they have a corner on the reality market and that those who don’t agree with them should just ‘leave the country’!  Hmmm….  How enlightened is that perspective?

The fact is that we are all on a trajectory toward a future that we co-create with the Universal Infinity, whether you call that partner God or The Universe or Spirit or Goddess or Source or any other name.  You don’t have to believe anything about this, just as you don’t have to believe in Gravity – you just operate and the Universal Force operates, too.  I guarantee that, unless you are on a spacecraft out beyond the Earth’s pull, if  you drop something, Gravity will take it to the floor!

If your reality is shaped by your experiences and your beliefs, then you can examine what you believe to be ‘real’ and change it, right?  This is the purpose of personal growth work – to examine what you believe and take charge of your thoughts so that you can create your desired reality in your life and the world around you.  If your unconscious mind controls the subconscious actions then wouldn’t you want to examine what those actions are being based on?

I work with a lot of enlightened entrepreneurs who have figured out that doing their personal growth work IS investing in their business.  If your business or relationship or life decisions are happening at the unconscious level because of beliefs that you hold from childhood experiences, then you might want to update those beliefs with up-to-date information!

And everyone around you has the same  dilemma – 21st Century choices can be based on early childhood misconceptions.  It is interesting, though, that sometimes those who hold most tightly to their opinions about reality are the ones who are most fearful of deep examination of the source of those very opinions.  They hide behind their belief that they know their reality and there is no need to question further.

But the explorer, the person who lives in the state of curiosity and inquiry about their own being and the world around them, has the richer life.  There is always something new to be discovered, something that might reinforce a belief or something that calls that belief into question. Either way, the explorer stays in the joy of discovery and excitement.

Decide to become an explorer, beginning with the inner exploration that is always a rich experience.  Reinforce or reinvent decisions based on the new information you have gained through a lifetime.  Do you really want your inner 6-year-old running your life today?

Devote yourself to curious inquiry into new thought around you.  Quantum Physics is now proving what we’ve known in Metaphysics for thousands of years.  Aren’t your curious about that?  NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), a technique I use to help people make desired changes, is based on quantum physics and neurobiology.  Isn’t that exciting?

Who are you REALLY?  What REALITY do you want to create for yourself?  You have the power today!

MYSTIC MESSAGE: from The Divine Feminine: The Times They Are a Changin’

Dear Ones,

The veils between the worlds are beginning to thin and those who are resonating at higher levels are able to see through the physical world to the spiritual world.  Those who have this vision derive comfort from knowing that all is well.

If you are stuck in circumstances that feel like blocks or as if you have blocks of cement attached to feet that are trying to move forward, then your awareness is at the densest level of the physical reality of 21st Century Planet Earth.  You do not have to stay attached to that which you view as this so-called ‘reality.’

Reality is your perception of what is true, according to your own measuring parameters.  One person’s reality might not be another’s.  When one becomes convinced that their reality is the only one, then one, of necessity, judges all others to be ‘out of touch with reality’ or  ‘just plain wrong.’  This is where judgment, polarity, racism dwell – in the hearts of those who believe that they know for certain what is ‘reality.’ If your reality does not mesh with those around you, are you willing to listen and learn or do you discount and shut off any discussion?

Notice in your day how much reality you are encountering.  Can your perception be different from that of another person’s?  Can two people observe the same event and have differing accounts of what has happened?

Each human being sees the world through the lens of their experience and the filter of the decisions they have made about what to believe.  A child’s view of the world is being shaped by the environment and the parents that they encounter.  The subconscious of the child embraces the decisions that are made as if they define absolute reality because they do not have the discernment to consider that t here might be other realities beyond what they can see.  The subconscious of the adult might be holding onto those same decisions because there has never been a reason to question them.

In the 21st Century, every decision about reality must come into question.  One cannot live a conscious life while the subconscious is shaping choices around a decision about believing in a childhood reality.  And those who choose to impose their own reality onto others are being led by a subconscious child’s belief rather than a conscious choice made as an adult in the 21st Century.

Reality dwells in the heart-mind center of evolved individuals.  This heart-mind carries the new 21st Century consciousness for evolutionaries to manifest in the world.  When one operates from this space, there is room for other individuals to embrace the outer world according to their evolutionary progress.  Nonjudgment and acceptance are the hallmarks of  the evolved 21st Century human being.

There is much polarization in the world today around the concept that ‘I am right and you are wrong,’ a tendency to create ‘otherness’ about one who looks, acts, thinks, lives differently.  This is the outward manifestation of an inner clinging to the old paradigms.  Intolerance is the expression of the fear that the world is changing around one.

The changes that are coming represent quantum leaps in the evolution of human consciousness.  Those who can embrace change will be the evolutionaries of the 21st Century.  Those who cannot will be left behind to live amongst the intolerances of their own prejudices from past belief systems.

This is the time to make the choice about your own reality.

And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: Imagine You’re the Dreamer

So much to worry about. So much to do.

How much time each day do you spend worrying about what’s happening and worrying about getting things done? Let’s reassign that time to taking action to move in the direction of your dreams!

It is so easy to fall into the trap of believing that reality is what we see around us. There are people who criticize the dreamers for not facing reality and, yet, I believe that it’s the dreamers who can see what is Real with a capital ‘R.’ Listen to John Lennon’s song, Imagine, again and really listen to the words.

‘You may say I’m a dreamer,
But I’m not the only one.’

We can all be dreamers and we can create THAT Reality.

It starts in your own life. What are your dreams for your life? Are you able to access a place of peace within you that helps you to bring that dream into reality?

Worry doesn’t take us where we want to go. Worry energizes the lack or the thing we fear or something else that hasn’t happened and magnetizes that. What we do instead of worry is to focus on the energy of the dream we have and bring that into our lives by magnetizing what we desire instead of what we don’t want to have. It might seem tricky but it’s simple.

Every time the specter of something you are worrying about arises, sing John Lennon’s song to yourself. Imagine being the dreamer who can imagine something better, something you want to see in your life. Replace the picture or the feeling of the worry with the picture AND the feeling of the dream.

That’s what you do. Replace the picture or the feeling of the worry with the picture AND the feeling of the dream.

Use your own power to energize your own dream. Other people can’t dream for you. Other people work with you to help you manifest your dream. As a mentor I hold the image in front of your face when you forget what your dream is. Find a mentor to do that for you. When the direction of your dream starts to get confused or blurry, have someone else in your life who can turn you back onto the correct road and clear your vision.

And don’t give your power away to anyone who wants to replace your dream, your vision for yourself with their wish for you. Parents, siblings, well-meaning friends and colleagues are looking through the lens of their own fears, beliefs and limitations. They cannot see through your eyes. They do not have the Soul Purpose that you came into the world to manifest so they can only see as far as their own vision can take them.

YOU know your own dream. And if it’s not clear for you, get some help in that clarification. YOU know your Soul Purpose. If you don’t, then have someone help you define it, through scientific hand analysis or some other means.

It’s helpful to have a mentor or coach or counselor to help you to see where you are going and to help you to make sure it is where you want to be going. You don’t have to do it alone. But choose your partner in this very carefully. Make sure it is someone who wants you to go where YOU want to go, not where they want to take you. Ultimately, it is your life and you are the director.

You are also the dreamer. And you’re not the only one.

Dream your life and then take action in the direction of your dream. The Universe will leap to help you manifest that dream.

MUSE-INGS: Dreams and Visions and Goals, Oh My!

Where do you stand in the realization of your dreams? Do you create visions and goals for yourself? Are you a New Year’s Resolution fan, but have you abandoned them by February?

There is not much in our culture that supports our desire to live our dreams. Kids are taught ‘It’s just a dream’ when they come to Mommy or Daddy after their night visions. But many indigenous cultures believe that Dreamtime is Reality and what we call reality is a collective illusion. If that is true, then we can dream a new reality into existence.

Do you take time to dream? Back when I was a programmer, in the ancient days of room sized computers, there was a designer who used to sit at his desk with nothing on it except his feet while he stared off into space. Everyone knew not to disturb Bob when he was sitting this way because he was thinking through the program he was working on, essentially dreaming it into existence. The boss would just walk by his office, not bothering to stop in but also not judging Bob as not working just because he wasn’t writing or typing. Eventually, Bob would whip out the program in record time and it was always almost perfect the first time it ran. He created it first in his mind and then he manifested it in the computer. It was a very elegant programming style!

I often find myself so ‘busy’ that I don’t take time to just dream. I have to program that time into my calendar so that I can be as creative as possible. If I am constantly focusing on fixing problems I am energizing problems. If I am always looking at the details I am missing the information available about the big picture. And, conversely, if I create the dreams but do not take any action to realize them then they are not energized and dissipate like vapor in the wind.

Have you ever done a vision board? You cut out pictures and words from magazines and glue them to posterboard, then post this in front of your desk so that you can energize what you have desired and created as a vision for your life. Many people have realized exactly what is on their vision board. My friend is doing a workshop wherein he will help people to create a digital vision board so that it can be their computer wallpaper or screensaver they can keep it in front of themselves while modifying it as circumstances warrant. There are many ways, such as, video, to create a vision for your life.

Why not try one this week for yourself? Take some time alone [you don’t want anyone else’s energy or dreams or visions to influence you] and let yourself dream your future. What would you love to see in your life in the next year? Picture yourself a year from now [or 6 months or 3 years, whatever feels right for you] looking back and describing what has come into your life. Speak to yourself in the present tense of already having this in your life. Feel the energy of having your dreams come true. Welcome with gratitude those dreams.

You don’t have to create the vision board but it’s a powerful tool. The important thing to do is to create the vision! Even if you are not a visual person, create the feeling of having that dream in your life and allow yourself to be emotionally and mentally in that place of acceptance of your dream come true.

Let’s all support each other in realizing our dreams. Next time you meet someone, instead of asking them, ‘What do you do?’ ask instead, ‘What do you dream for yourself?’ You might be surprised by the answers you receive!

MUSE-INGS: Find Your Magic

Magic and Empowerment.  Interesting words to put together.

I love the word ‘magic’ because it conjures up [pun intended] all kinds of possibilities that are beyond the so-called normal realm.  As a little girl I lived in fairy tales with all sorts of magical things happening.  Of course, I also saw things that I now realize not everyone else was seeing.  Are all of our children seeing magic everywhere in their lives but having the magic shut down or blocked out of their vision?

Maybe life in the 21st Century has become so focused on reality that we forget to notice the magic in the reality around us.  We just watched the movie ‘Inception’ and the complexity of that dream world was fascinating.  Dream levels within levels within levels.  What’s real?  What is the dream?  Can the dream become real?  What great questions to ask ourselves!

If we, as a society, join in a collective dream, do we not manifest that as reality?  If we, collectively, agree that something is so, do we not project that belief into the world around us until reality is shaped by that belief?  Believing is Seeing.  In order to see something, we must first believe it to be visible.  Many scientific studies have shown that those who have been trained to see or not see something will manifest their belief in the world around them, even if ‘reality’ does not actually reflect that belief.  An ophthalmologist once told me that if an adult is given a pair of glasses that reverse what is seen to create an upside down image, that person’s brain will learn to reverse the image to make it upright within 3 days of wearing the glasses.  In a photography class, I learned that paper that appears white to our eyes is actually reflecting the light around it, such as green in fluorescent lighting or yellow in incandescent, but our brains translate the brightest paper into the white color we expect to see.  The camera doesn’t have this translator and takes a picture of green or yellow paper!

So how important is it that we check our belief systems periodically so that we can assess our reality?  Are we believing what we want to see?  Are we SEEING what we want to see or, if not, have we checked what we are believing about our reality?

As you go through your days this week, ask yourself what your reality is telling you about your belief system.  Look at yourself as the magician creating the illusions around you.  Then look at what you have created and ask if you feel empowered by that.  Let yourself move into your own power by practicing magic in little areas of your life, especially if you need to take baby steps.  Give yourself permission to play in your days.  Let yourself move into a feeling of personal empowerment by assessing your beliefs.  When I work with private clients, this is the first place we need to work, because sometimes our beliefs have been planted by others or were adopted by our younger selves and no longer have a place in our reality.  Sometimes we have let someone take away our magic.

My blessing to you this week is that you find your magic!  I trust that it is there for you to find!
