Surprise!!! – Richard’s Commentary

While thinking about my response to Rosemary’s article on this subject I received an email from a mentor/teacher/friend, a deep scholar and also a gifted astrologer, about the energies of the times we are experiencing. I’m quoting a bit of his latest offering to set the stage for my thoughts about surprises.

More on the BIG astrology now – it IS that important – from Chris

“The aspects of the end of this week represent a rupture in consensus reality.  In other words, what we take to be true about ourselves, our community, our nation, and our planet could be challenged or expanded (or both).  My best advice is that if we see an opening in the “medieval fort” of everyday, programmed awareness, we should run through that opening.

“The possibilities for expanding consciousness are huge.  But we have to choose to engage with those possibilities.  We have to step outside the fort and challenge things we take for granted.”

Chris Largent

Surprise!!!  A “rupture in consensus reality” certainly has the element of surprise embedded in it! Wow! But what does this really mean?

We have been anticipating big shifts with all the thought-energy, the expectations generated around 2012.  While much of the hype is gone, many understand that the Winter Solstice, 2012, was a turning point, not THE EVENT itself. We are now in the midst of that long turn. Some are suggesting that we may see big shifts with the Summer Solstice as the transformation to a new era begins to unfold in earnest. And many astrologers are aligning events in the Heavens with the correspondences of ancient calendars to conclude big things are happening.

Beliefs are certainly shifting and rapidly. Just look at one example around the issue of same-sex marriage rights. No matter what side of this issue you might support there has been an incredible, rapid shift in American acceptance of the LGBT Community and their rights to equal treatment under the law! Consensus reality is reforming here in a surprisingly positive direction. Chris goes on to say:

“The consciousness doors that open now will allow for big inner and outer shifts through the summer of 2014 – but the opening is NOW.”

Rosemary has this to say about consensus reality:

“As a human being, it is easy to fall into the trap of always wanting to be in control of your life. That would be nice. But the Earth is inhabited by other human beings who also want to be in control of their lives. What happens when these two desires collide?”

What happens is, willing or not, consensus reality is reformed around that collision. Of course it doesn’t have to be a collision! Chris says:

“…we are like currents in a river.  In other words, we look at the world in terms of fluid processes (and whole systems).  If we look closely at our lives, that’s what we see: we flow within larger patterns, and we create patterns as our life-processes flow with other life processes.”

I love this analogy of lives that flow together, but there’s no doubt that there is colliding yet to come as we bump through the next months of transformation! As consensus reality dissolves around us we need to be prepared for the reformation of our reality. These are exciting times! And while I don’t always like surprises (I’m one of those people who likes to be in control) I am now at a stage of life where anticipation of big changes and moving forward on the evolutionary path of consciousness is very appealing.

What other cultural surprises might we anticipate? Well, they wouldn’t be surprises if we knew about them in advance! Are you prepared for the long predicted and anticipated shifts? Are you ready for the BIG SURPRISE?

What Does Self-Love Look Like? –Richard’s Commentary

“Love creates. Love bonds. Love attracts and holds securely. Love frees. Love develops and Love lets go. Love releases bonds that no longer serve.”

When I first read Rosemary’s “litany” about Love, Paul’s letter to the Corinthians came to mind, that often used text in Christian weddings: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” (Quoted from the NIV Bible published by Zondervan.)

While these lists of what Love looks like are superficially very different, they certainly are parallel. Rosemary’s list is about creation and development. There are bonds in Love but those bonds need to serve, not hinder growth. And Paul’s description of Love can certainly apply to creative development, growth. His words almost more appropriately apply to the Love between parent and child; there is a definite paternal quality to his list which likely reflected his feelings toward the Corithians.

Then how do these descriptions of Love apply to Self-Love, the main topic of Rosemary’s post? Creation and development are key in Rosemary’s list. And I believe this is very true for Self-Love to grow and flourish. As humans we can never stop growing, Life is about learning our lessons. And these lessons are all about the evolution of Consciousness. The explosive creation of the Universe, out of Love, initiated this entire evolutionary expansion we find ourselves in the midst of. If we were loved into existence then isn’t it incumbent on us to continue that love-stream?

Then look at what Paul says in the context of Self-Love: it is all about development, growth of a child. What if we apply these actions of patience, kindness, recording no wrongs toward ourselves? This creates an environment for learning our lessons, for expanding our consciousness and contributing to the evolution of Consciousness.

Paul’s and Rosemary’s litanies about Love turn out to be highly parallel and mutually supportive!

And what if we treat ourselves as they both implore? Rosemary says “Love releases bonds that no longer serve.” And Paul says Love “keeps no record of wrongs.” These words are describing forgiveness. And, for me, Self-Love and self-forgiveness are closely bound. There can’t be one without the other. I can only love myself from the capacity to forgive myself. And I can only forgive myself from that secure base of Self-Love.

When I am feeling low I sometimes need to drag out that “record of wrongs” I keep on myself and remember they are past wrongs that I need to let go; I need to release those “bonds that no longer serve.” This is a recurring theme for me; forgiving myself is at the base of picking myself up by my own bootstraps.

“Love is kind, it is not rude, it is not easily angered.” “Love frees.” I need to apply these words to me, often and always. Then perhaps I’ll more easily know what Self-Love does look like. And then, too, I’ll be contributing more to the evolution of Consciousness!

What does Self-Love look like for you?

“Think New Thoughts for 2013” – Richard’s Commentary

“Thoughts become things” according to Mike Dooley. They are things according to many current authors linking quantum fields and our brains (or should I say “minds”?).  Our thoughts are certainly energy that is detectable, measurable and effective! The so called “new age” construct that we create our own reality through how we think and act, imagine and project our thoughts, ideas, visions into the world is becoming main stream science for those who are open and willing to explore these not-necessarily-self-evident concepts.

Then whether we believe this approach or not would seem not to matter; it’s not a matter of faith but a matter of science. We don’t believe in gravity; it’s a fact that objects near the earth respond to a force by falling to the earth. “Thoughts are things” is not a belief system but as real as gravity. There’s a lot of empirical evidence to back this up.

Therefore we really do have to be very aware of our thoughts, to monitor them, to assess and characterize them and to channel them in the direction we choose if we want to live a certain way. And this is particularly true if we want to change, improve the way we are living – evolve!

The way I look at this we need to be of “two minds.” We need our “active mind” to get us through the day. Part of this mind keeps us alive, running our physical bodies and responding to external stimulations as they pop up. And part of this mind is making decisions on a myriad of inputs; some decisions are almost automatic, based on habits and some are actual choices we are motivated to make based on priorities and plans. Then there is the second mind, the observer mind that assesses our life from another level. This could be called the “meta-mind” because it operates at the meta-level lifting out of the routine operations to passively monitor how we are doing. This could also be called the “mindful mind.”

Another common expression these days is “change your mind and change your life.” This could be the corollary to “thoughts become things.” These are easily expressed phrases, quickly becoming platitudes. But underlying their seemingly obvious simplicity things get a bit dicey. How many of you are sticking to your resolutions for 2013? That mind that runs on autopilot and habit consumes a huge percentage of our waking mental activity. It is not until we begin to assess how we are spending this “mind time” that we realize how much thought-energy is wasted. Don’t feel bad if you are already falling short on those resolutions. The routines you were living through in 2012, while not “hard-wired” into your brain, are a set of well worn pathways through neural networks laid down years ago. They are difficult to rewire!

The endless loops that play and replay in our minds are wasted energy. The knee-jerk emotional energy we expend on all the little, and sometimes big, annoyances in our lives is pretty much wasted – this emotional energy seldom accomplishes anything!

This is where the second, meta-mind comes in. We cannot change our minds, change our habits, change our responses unless we monitor, assess and evaluate the rightness and usefulness of those responses in the first place, when they occur.

A perfect example happened to me today. I was practicing qigong. My meta-mind should have been in high-gear, right? I was present, mindful, deeply into the practice. There were some people in the neighbor’s backyard talking and I could ignore them. Then our Lhasa Apso, Tara, came on the scene. At first she was attentive but quiet. Then as she detected the outside disturbance she let out a piercing bark. I almost jumped out of my skin! Then I scolded her for disrupting my practice. It took me several moments to re-collect myself and get back in my rhythm. Later as I was reviewing this I realized my reaction was not only out of habit but also unfair. Tara’s breed is from Tibet where Lhasas were raised as temple watchdogs. Their job was to alert meditating monks and masters if there was an intrusion into the monastery! Well, Tara was doing exactly what she was bred and raised to do! And she doesn’t have a meta-mind (at least as far as I can tell) so I had no right or reason to scold her! I’m the one with the meta-mind but it didn’t wake up until after my unfairness.

Exercising this meta-mind is no easy thing. This is why it is called “practice.” And it is through this practice that we can begin to “think new thoughts.”

How’s your 2013 practice coming along?

EXPLORATION: “The I’s Have It” – Richard’s Commentary

Speaking of taking care of yourself first so you have the energy and resources to serve others, I’ve been thinking a lot about veganism and vegetarianism lately. I know a number of people who are and have been for years. In fact my son has been mostly vegetarian since his college days after reading “The Way of the Peaceful Warrior.”

And recently I have begun to know people who are not only very strict in their discipline around a vegan diet but are also strong advocates of such, recommending it as a way to eat to save ourselves and the planet in the process. In fact some folks become so enthusiastic about their lifestyle and dietary choices that they almost become zealots, fundamentalists in their beliefs and political views on the subject.

I could say that some people even push my buttons on this subject. And I ask myself, “what are they mirroring for me that I need to examine closely?”

Examining this question took me all the way back to my childhood. I grew up on a small family farm in Wisconsin; and yes, it was a dairy farm. But we raised pigs, chickens, and sheep as well. For the most part we were a self-sufficient farm growing and raising much of our own food. Milk was the primary cash commodity and it all, but what we saved out for our personal use, went to a local factory that made cheese. Everything was pretty local in those days. We traded the eggs to the local grocery store for credit toward the things we didn’t raise or grow ourselves. We ate the extra roosters. We ate our own meat from pigs and steers we raised. So, I grew up with a lot of meat, milk, cheese, eggs; and when the local hunters helped thin out deer herds during hunting season we had venison as well.

I look back on this childhood with a great deal of fondness; I feel blessed to have been raised in the country with what then would have been the nearest thing to non-GMO, organic food we could have had from any source at any price – and it came from our “back-yard”!. We knew exactly where it all came from and what went into it.

Fast-forward about 60 years and it is hard to believe how things have changed! While some of the family farm remains right there in Wisconsin where I left it, much of the land has been sold to a “giant farm” following the trend everywhere to big-agri-business; the family farms of my youth are mostly gone. And I now live on the east coast with just enough garden for a few tomato plants. The nearest thing to small farming is the Community Supported  Agriculture (CSA) approach we have supported for the past few years. At least this way we are sourcing some of our produce locally; it’s fresh and organic and supporting a healthy way of life and a healthy planet!

My diet has changed too: for several years I have made my breakfasts and lunches in my Vitamix “super-blender” by creating a concoction of nuts, seeds, fruit and vegetables; it’s all raw, as organic as I can find and it certainly qualities as vegan. I have lost a bit of excess weight, very gradually, while on this regimen, I have lots of energy, feel great and I believe I’m pretty healthy. And for dinner I often have a meat dish. I love cheese (here I don’t think I had a chance since from childhood I had more milk in my veins than blood!). And, while I’ve given up on chicken in my diet I still enjoy, now and then, a bacon-and-egg breakfast on a random weekend.

I am far from vegetarian, let alone vegan! And I am not sure I ever want or need to become a strict anything. I tend to avoid becoming a zealot about things in life.

That said I have asked myself if I need to look more closely into this mirror held up to me by those who are more zealous! Are we on an evolutionary path toward a meatless diet? Will this path, in part, be driven by realities of limited resources and over-pollution by the current approach by big-agri-business? Are we killing ourselves with GMOs? Can we rely on science and technology to continuously increase production of already strained resources?

And the real nagging question, because I want to think of myself as an evolutionary and cultural creative: “Is the New Human vegan?” I’d love to have your thoughts.

“You Have Been Brainwashed!” a commentary from Richard

Brainwashed?  Yes, by one of the most powerful forces in my life (no, not Rosemary): my own ego!

As I have mentioned before part of my daily practice is to draw a couple of cards from my favorite decks to divine a sense of the energies of the day. One of my decks is the Crowley Tarot Deck and I use The Crowley Tarot by Akron and Hajo Banzhaf to continue to deepen my understanding of the cards. Today (Thursday) I drew the XVI of Trumps, The Tower. (I’ve included its image here). And my first reaction was: how cool to bring up this image of “destruction” asThe Tower I sit to write about brainwashing, its power and destructive potential and how to re-program from the brainwashing; in other words, destroy its impact and bring in the new images of self that are needed at this time!

This is 2012, and I am writing this on 12/12/12. Rosemary led a meditation today at 12:00 noon Eastern time, to activate and anchor the emerging energies of transformation as we draw near the Winter Solstice of 2012. What better time to let go of the old structures, the old energies, the old beliefs, the old brainwashing, those stories we’ve been telling ourselves for years, that may no longer hold any truth or power for us or over us.

And so I draw this card with its Tower, this burning, toppling structure that is an empty shell holding nothing for me as I move into the new energies at the end of 2012. Here are phrases from the guide book: “destruction of form…upheaval of values”, “enlightenment … that strikes like lightning and destroys … rigid ideas”, “overcoming one’s self”, “breaking open encrustations.” Wow, sounds like deprogramming to me!

The ego holds our beliefs, especially about ourselves. It is a wonderful friend, protecting us from both physical and emotional harm. It can also be our worst enemy holding us back when we are called to speak our truth, holding us to old beliefs when we receive new information that would help us grow, develop, evolve! The ego protects us but also holds us prisoner locked away in our tower. It is time for my tower to tumble!

And so I seek to burn down the current structures of my life, to sabotage my own ego, to break free of the bonds that fetter and hold me frozen in a place of safety but with little progress.

How? I will write more about my process and what is coming to me for tomorrow’s post. Meanwhile I continue all of my practices, which I have described in earlier posts. They serve me well and help me through the ego-generated blocks that no longer serve me. My practices are the “fire and kindling” I use to burn my imprisoning tower down.

Towers, so too brainwashing, can be good and bad. We need structures in our lives to hold us safe and help us hold the energy of the time; but when they impede our progress we need to burn them to the ground!

Burn your prisons down!

Oh, and happy New Moon (3:42 am EST, 12/13/12)! What better time to bring in the new energies of progress and transformation!

MYSTIC MESSAGE: from The Divine Feminine: YOU are a WIZARD!!!

Dear Ones,

Remember the magic. There is magic in your life, right now, today, appearing all around you.

Some people call it ‘coincidence.’ Others ‘serendipity.’ Some say ‘chance.’ Others ‘luck.’ But it is all MAGIC.

You are a magical being. Think of yourself as the Wizard of the World, in your own life and in your own world. You wave your Magic Wand and make things happen around you.

Are you disbelieving that this is so?

Your Magic Wand is the aggregate of your thoughts. You are waving this wand at all times. What you are thinking is moving out into the world to manifest even as you have the thought. YOU are the director of this magical story and you send your thoughts out to attract and find their essence.

Are you thinking about that which you lack? The energy that flows off the tip of your Magic Wand is the energy of lack. It floats away and creates the energetic match to ‘lack.’

Are you thinking about how terrible a situation is in your life? The energy that flows off the tip of your Magic Wand is the energy of what is terrible in that situation and creates the matching energy.

Once you realize that you are always holding the power of your Magic Wand you will consciously choose the energy that you flow out from the tip of that wand. Why would you flow anything other than the energy of what you desire in your life?

This does not mean that there are not occasions where some things do not go as you wish, but you must attach your thoughts to what it is you do wish, not to what does not match. There are two reasons for these occasions to arise.

The first is to bring you a lesson that you need to learn. You might be wishing for something and yet a part of you is not in congruence with that wish. This incongruence will send out a confu sing energy pattern and the lesson will arise for you to learn, to self-examine so that you can resolve the confusion and learn your lesson. Afterwards, you might want to modify your desires based on the new understanding you achieve from learning the lesson.

The second reason is that there are other human beings with free will who are waving their own magic wands into the Universe. You and your Soul Group, the group of Souls who have agreed to share lessons in this lifetime, are helping each other to learn lessons and you might be the instructor in someone else’s lesson. At these times, you must remain in your own learning mode and model standing in your truth. If you allow yourself to be drawn off course you will miss your own lessons and your Magic Wand will start sending off unconscious energy instead of the consciousness of what you desire.

So are you ready to get out there and be the Wizard of the World of your own Life? Know that you are su pported in this. Your thoughts are acting on your behalf at all times. Take charge of your thoughts. Bring them into alignment with your dreams and vision for your own life. Remove the limiting beliefs and negative thoughts that block the sending out of pure intention for what you wish to bring into your life.

Seek the support of like-minded individuals and groups who will support you in living your magical life. THIS is what humanity is evolving toward. You are making magic for the 21st Century!

And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: Big Bands and the Evolution of Consciousness

Do you remember when you were a teenager and your parents complained about your music? I do!

My Dad played in a big band and I grew up listening to Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. Then came folk music – Peter, Paul & Mary and The Kingston Trio. The Beatles and the British Invasion arrived next. The progression goes on. But my parents remembered when THEIR parents objected to the music they enjoyed in the 40s & 50s. I’m sure their parents shocked my great-grandparents with the Roaring Twenties music!

How easy it is to dismiss what is new. How easy it can be to dismiss the messenger who brings in the new. And, yet, isn’t each messenger wanting to be heard?

What is the new message coming to you? It might not even be from young people but the source might be your intuition, your own personal guidance system. Are you listening?

It’s easy to look outside ourselves and consider the source of information so that we can justify dismissing it. Sometimes it is more difficult to look inside to find and listen to the guidance that we find there. Do you honor your own inner guidance?

Maybe the way to start honoring intuition it to start listening to the messages from the young people. They might actually be more tuned in than we, the ‘old folks,’ are!

Now I’m not advocating having to listen to the music of the next couple of generations if you don’t like it, but really listen to that younger person’s view of the world.

When our daughter was starting in school she told a story about a little girl in her class and I tried to get her to describe the girl to me, although I knew it was an African-American girl in a mostly white student classroom. Mindy said, ‘You know her, Mommy, she’s the one with the braids!’ It never occurred to her to differentiate the little girl from herself by the difference in the color of skin. I was excited that, in the new generation, the person was not identified by race. What a change from my parents’ generation, with separate water fountains and different parts of the bus! The children were teaching us to let go of old notions of differences.

What can you learn today from the young people around you? Enjoy the exploration! Have a conversation with a young person where you really listen to them. Ask questions and honor them when they open up. They’re really pretty cool. [But don’t say that because that’s an old person’s term!]

Be willing to explore new ideas even if they come from someone younger. We oldsters know a lot, and the world can learn from our wisdom, but sometimes we see through fixed bifocals, with only our own perspective, not seeing all the possibilities that are present.

Be willing to evolve your own thoughts by considering new ideas before you dismiss them. Old and young alike are being called to help all of humanity to evolve. Don’t be the one who holds back human evolution. Contribute, by opening yourself to the possibility of changing how you think.

Your creative juices can flow when you consider ideas, but if you lock yourself behind the doors of your fixed opinions, you get stuck.

Stay in the flow. Be a part of the Consciousness Evolution!

MUSE-INGS: How evolutionary are you?

Everything around us seems to be changing, at a far more rapid pace than ever before in human history. I think of my Dad who was born in 1908 and died in 1983. Imagine the changes in his lifetime!

And since his passing, almost 30 years ago, we now have so many instant communication devices that we can barely take a breath without being contacted by another human being. As I write this, Outlook keeps telling me “you’ve got mail!” (ok, not in that old aol voice!) and my iPhone is chiming to let me know I’ve received another text. I can email with people all over the world. My clients are on different continents and we can ‘see’ each other via our videoconference sessions as if we are sitting across the table from each other. We are really connecting through space and time in ways my Dad couldn’t even imagine.

And, yet, are we still Neanderthal’s in our thinking? Have we evolved our consciousness so that we bring new perspectives to activities and behaviors and thoughts in our lives?

I see the nature of ‘mine’ sometimes throwing itself into the mix without a concern for other people or the impact of actions on the community around. There seem to be many conflicted people who cannot find a place within their thoughts and beliefs for the union of individualism with community. We are individuals who live in community with other individuals.

This is the point where human consciousness is inviting us to find a new awareness of these concepts, to move from the either/or thinking of ‘mine’ vs. ‘ours.’ There is a place, in 21st Century thought, for ‘mine’ AND ‘ours.’

In what other areas are you seeing your thoughts or beliefs living in a previous century? Have you carefully examined the thoughts and beliefs that are guiding you through your 21st Century life? If you would live a Conscious Life, then you MUST do the work to choose the thoughts and beliefs that will determine how you live today.

‘Sleepwalking through history’ is not an option for the spiritual student or for the human who chooses to be a part of the evolution of human consciousness. That is what those who have made the choice to avoid evolving are doing – sleepwalking. They think that they are alive but they have shut down the very part of themselves that is fully human and seeking growth.

Constantly assess your thoughts as you go about your day. Am I thinking with consciousness about what I am choosing or am I ‘sleepwalking’? Ask yourself, “Is this thought coming from me or from an old tape created by someone in the past? Is my belief based on 21st Century consciousness or is it coming from something hundreds of years ago that I must understand in a new light?”

If you truly examine your own consciousness then you can choose to assist all of humanity in its evolutionary process.

Choose to evolve beyond Neanderthal thinking. It’s the 21st Century. Your very humanity is calling you to evolve, to move beyond the unconsciousness of ‘sleepwalking.’ Make the choice today. And examine those thoughts and beliefs, especially the unconscious ones, so that you can bring yourself up to date with the evolution of human consciousness in the 21st Century.

My Dad would be excited to be a part of this evolution today!

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Are You Neanderthal?

Dear Ones,

The world is changing. Are you?

If you are clinging to beliefs that were appropriate 100 years ago and you are refusing to evolve your thinking, then are you being fully human and participating in the evolution of human consciousness?

Humans are evolving animals, with the free will to choose how and at what level they will participate in the evolutionary process. This free will allows the human being to develop levels of consciousness that increase awareness. Other animals are also evolving but it is humans who can choose NOT to evolve.

The joking use of the term ‘Neanderthal’ to describe a person who is still thinking in cave man mentality is really a description of the lack of evolution on the part of the individual being described. The people who lived in caves in those early times of humanity’s presence on Planet Earth were evolving very rapidly. Every experience was a new one that helped to develop the brain and mind of humans who live today. Every new experience created a template against which other experiences could be measured. Deciding what worked and what didn’t, what was tested and tried that succeeded, and what did not fit in that moment, is how the human being was able to learn and grow and evolve.

Language was created to assist in communication that had been accomplished by other means before language appeared. If you have studied your Oxford English Dictionary you have seen how your current day language continues to evolve with usage. Multiple languages developed based on the source language that was evolving in that place and time. Adapting to circumstances is a part of the evolutionary process.

In 21st Century Earth evolution each person can choose whether or not they will continue to learn and to grow or will try to hold all of humanity back by refusing to move forward with their understanding and consciousness.

You have a choice about how you will navigate the 21st Century. Because you are alive at this time on Planet Earth, your Soul agreed to participate in the evolution of humanity and of human consciousness. Every other person around you has also made the same contract with the Universe – to be a part of 21st Century evolution.

Obviously, the evolutionary process in the 21st Century differs from that of the cave people. But, in essence, the process includes trying new things/thoughts, identifying those that advance humanity and those that hold back the flow of evolution, and adopting the growth positions to move human consciousness forward.

Everyone around you is also engaged in this process. Differences among the choices are starting to show broader areas of disagreement because the choices have been occurring for a long time. Some humans have chosen to participate in the growth of consciousness and others have been on a path of constantly choosing to hold back or to go back to an earlier level of consciousness. When these choices are coming from the same position, the differences are small. When, however, they reflect years or centuries of making the same kind of choices, then the differences have veered so far away from each other as to appear irreconcilable.

Understand that the differences you are seeing in the 21st Century reflect the evolution of all humanity. 2012 is a year of choice for all on Planet Earth. It is time to decide which type of human being you will be, and to appreciate that the Souls who have chosen other paths have already made their decisions.

We wish you to choose to continue to be a part of the evolution of human consciousness for there is much yet to be revealed. Only those who believe in the ability of the human being to learn, to grow, to have greater levels of understanding and to contribute to the evolution of the greater consciousness will continue on the path of human evolution. Those who choose to deny that growth and who would deny others the opportunity for that growth will be left behind.

Human beings are evolutionary beings. To deny this, to fight the evolution of consciousness, is to choose to step away from one’s own humanity. It is a poor choice.

And so it is.
