There’s no place like home…

While we had a great time visiting with our LA kids and seeing friends and attending Suzanne Evans’ Be The Change Event, it’s always good to get home and pick up the routine.

Last week we were in Las Vegas for Be The Change during the exact times of the Cardinal Grand Cross, that transformative celestial event that has had a huge impact on me personally and on all of us at some level. And then, on April 28-29 there was the New Moon/Solar Eclipse. Have you felt things shifting in your life?

The astrological events describe energetic patterns that are around us as we move through our lives. You don’t have to become a student of astrology to sense the impact. Big rain storms hit the Chesapeake Bay area the day after this New Moon/Solar Eclipse and there has been flooding all around us. Landslides in Baltimore. Rivers and creeks at flood stage. Roads closed. And elsewhere there have been severe storms and tornadoes. These aren’t accidents.

Paying attention to the Moon activities makes sense for a lot of reasons, including the Moon’s influence on water, which is the main component of the human body. Makes sense that we, too, would be influenced, right? So notice your moods, your impulses, your dreams.

I spent a lot of my time during the Cardinal Grand Cross period examining how I want to step out in a bigger way in the world. One way is to reach out to larger groups of people and to help you and others connect to the solutions for the problems that keep you feeling stuck. Watch for more group activities being offered soon!

In the meantime, I continue to help individuals in private sessions and will keep the Spring Clearing session special open for a little while longer. nebula in smcSpring is here! Change is in the air! Hallelujah! Daffodils and crocuses are in bloom in the yard. It’s a joy to be in a new place in Springtime because we have no idea what flowers will pop up for us to enjoy. I love this kind of surprise!

But I like the change in the yard from snow to blossoms! I like being able to sit on the deck and enjoy the sunshine. This is a change from the wintry weather that we have had for so long in Maryland.

This MuseLetter is going to be going through some changes, too. In the coming days, I will be inviting you to answer a few questions about how we can best serve the RosemarySpace Community. It’s time for a change, and I would greatly appreciate your comments about how you would like for us to stay connected so that I can continue to share wisdom, news and inspiration with you.

Now that we are in April we have some huge energies coming in that invite us to make BIG SHIFTS! There are 2 eclipses this month – one on the Full Moon on April 15 and the next on the New Moon April 29. In between these two dates is the Grand Cross, formed in the sky when Uranus, Jupiter, Pluto and Mars create a big cross. Wherever this falls in your natal astrological chart, you will be invited to make some big changes in your life.

Whether you follow astrology or not, the energies of this time invite you to shift into creative high gear and manifest those goals that can truly change your life. This is a big time for change! Are you ready?

Ring nebulaIt’s Spring! We are hoping that the snow is over, although seeing it snow on March 25 in Maryland was a bit weird yet fun. I’m ready for gardens and flowers and leaves on the trees.

Spring DID arrive as planned on March 20 with the Sun’s entry into the sign of Aries. This is the energy of beginning, of forward motion, of breaking new ground and creating new structures. And New Moons are times to bring in what is really important to us, to manifest the next step on our journey.

On Sunday, March 30, the New Moon in Aries occurred when the Sun and Moon were conjunct at 2:45 pm Eastern Daylight Time. Are you ready to start something new? Are you thinking about what you want to manifest in your life? Then this is the time to do a little ritual and state very clearly, either out loud or in writing, exactly what you want all this energy of initiation to support you in manifesting. The ritual can be as simple as lighting a candle or sitting outside at the time of the New Moon and sending your intention out to the Universe.

If you participated in the Possibilities Playshop, then you have a Playbook with this New Moon identified and this is a great place to record your intentions. If you haven’t attended a Possibilities Playshop yet, then use your journal or meditation diary to track the New Moon intentions and keep notes about your manifesting success. Paying attention to the New Moon and the Full Moon helps you to understand Cycles in your life. Keeping a journal of these dates and your intentions around them is a good way to become more conscious of your own personal and spiritual growth.

ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: Cycling

We sometimes forget that we are constantly within a cycle within another cycle within yet another one. Life is a spiraling experience and, when we try to make it linear, going out in front of us in a straight line and looking behind us as if everything happened in a straight line, we diminish the importance of the cycles that we have experienced.

Think about the seasons of every year of your life. How many Springs, Summers, Autumns, Winters have you lived through? Each season of the calendar year brings a different energy, a different feeling to your life that year.

In Spring, life around us starts to blossom and grow. There is a newness, a freshness, to the garden and the birds and the amount of Sun’s light that we receive. The trees start to spread leaves for us. Everything is in ‘growth mode.’ We, too, are invited to grow, to reach for the sky, to blossom, to try something new in the Springtime.

By Summer, the Sun is at it’s peak and the crops are producing bounty for us to receive. The seeds you planted in your life in Spring are coming to fruition and you can watch your efforts grow.

Autumn brings the harvest, a time to reap what you have sown. Prepare for winter. Finish up projects. Gather what you need and bring it inside.

Winter brings, not only colder weather, but also a time to hibernate, not slumbering deeply like the bears, but going inside, doing the inner work, contemplating, planning, examining life.

And then comes another Spring! Rebirth, revitalization, resurrection, coming alive again!

And so the cycle begins again. But this time you have learned more, grown more, shaped your life so that you are seeing from a new perspective, a little bit greater in consciousness and understanding than last year’s.

There are many other cycles in your life. Infant/Child/Teenager/Adult/Senior. Neophyte/Apprentice/Master.

You might think that each of these represents a linear progression, a straight line through the stages, but you can be an Adult in one setting and a Child in another. [Have you ever seen a grown man go home and become like the little boy he was growing up?] You can Master one thing and be a neophyte in another.

The Moon Cycles affect us greatly because we are mostly water and, just as the Moon affects the tides of Earth’s bodies of waters, so the waters in us are affected. Do you pay attention to where the Moon is in her cycle? Did you know that the New Moon is a great time to begin something new, to invite new things/ideas/projects/partners into your life? And the Full Moon is a time of releasing, of letting go of that which no longer serves you.

When you are conscious of cycles like these in your life, you can work with the energies of the cycles to support and assist you as you grow.

What other cycles in your life can you think of? What would change if you became conscious of those cycles and planned how to use that energy instead of allowing yourself to be affected unconsciously?

If you live by the water you know that the tides will respond to the Moon, whether you are conscious or not! Decide today to live a Conscious Life and pay attention to the cycles you experience!

The best news: Mercury goes direct today, at 9:00 am Eastern Time, to be precise (on Friday, February 28). For those who have been wondering, yes, Mercury has been retrograde (appearing to move backward when viewed from Earth) for the last 3 weeks. We’ve had computer issues, communication issues, mail not arriving. All Mercury items! So, while things still might be a bit sluggish for a few days, they will be getting back to normal soon. The next Mercury Retrograde starts June 7 so we have some time to relax.

The days are getting noticeably longer and I saw a robin standing in the snow this week. Woo Hoo!!! Can Spring be far behind? While I love Winter, I’m getting excited about the wonderful energy of action that comes with the Spring Equinox on March 20. We still have 3 more weeks to do our inner work and plan before we launch new projects.

Tomorrow is a New Moon in Pisces, at 2:59 am Eastern Time. This New Moon is inviting us to create new beliefs, new thoughts, new dreams and desires for our life. The key words for the sign of Pisces: I Believe. Now figure out what you believe and what you are ready to stop believing.

In the healing sessions that I have offered (and there are still some slots left) I am seeing huge shifts occur with the transmission of energy and you don’t even have to know consciously what is shifting! The guides and healing angels are working hard to make sure that we experience the fullness of what the Universe has to offer this year. Crab-NebHow do you like this galloping Horse Year energy? We’re still in the growing cycle of the New Moon of the Lunar New Year and it seems as if everyone is feeling this energetic push to move forward. Can you feel it?

Of course, I have to warn you that Mercury is Retrograde until February 27 so, while it appears to us on Earth as if the Planet Mercury is moving backward in the sky, there is a lot of ‘re-doing’ here on Earth when Mercury is Retrograde. Pay strict attention to details and re-read everything – emails, contracts, letters, etc. But this is also a great time to do some inner work and explore your inner self. Think about gifting yourself with a connection to the wisdom in other dimensions. There is no New Moon in February this year! So this really is a time to go inside and explore. It’s also a good time to let go of what is holding you back. Get ready for the Full Moon on Valentine’s Day, and its appropriate message is to let your Heart show you the way.

So find your Heart’s Desire! Talk about it with a trusted confidante. Invite them to share theirs, too, and support each other in manifesting your Big Dream.

The Possibilities Playshop 2014 was a good way to get started on this. I am using my Playbook and continue to add insights and thoughts as I use it to work with the Moon Cycles this year. I’m thinking that maybe we don’t have to wait until next year for the next one. If there’s enough interest I might offer one in the middle of the year to start with the following New Moon. We’re in for more winter here in Maryland so I’m trying not to say things like ‘Stay warm’ but, ‘Stay warm!’ Some folks in the region have experienced a power outage during this cold weather. Gratitude is always in style.

At the recent Possibilities Playshop 2014 participants created a Playbook based on how they wanted to feel, what their focus would be, what their guidance sounds like. (Of course, if you look at the calendar, we have 6 more weeks before the Spring Equinox anyway, but it’s a fun tradition in the US.) We also have the Super Bowl on the same day so there will be a lot of partying as we gather with family to watch the best TV commercials of the year.

And a head’s up for you – Mercury goes Retrograde on Thursday, February 6 at 4:43 pm Eastern Time. This is when it appears, from the perspective of Earth, as if Mercury is traveling backward in space for 3 weeks. This is a time to pay close attention to details, especially in communications and contracts. And everyone gets a little distracted during these periods so drive defensively.

Enjoy all the ‘New’ energy this weekend! In Asia this is a time of great celebration. In the US we’re celebrating by watching grown men knock each other down chasing a football. Hmmmm….

Get ready for the New Year! Lunar New Year, that is. With our second New Moon this month, on Thursday, January 30, at 4:36 pm Eastern Standard Time, we have another opportunity in January to invite in new possibilities. We had our first big snow in Maryland! 6+ inches is a lot for us to shovel. [OK, Richard did all the shoveling!] Tara, our Lhasa Apso, must remember that her breed is originally from Himalayan Tibet because she loves the cold weather and the snow. I like to look at it from the comfort of INSIDE my warm home! I am hunkering down during these winter months to get the book done – hurray! You might not see me at as many networking events or gatherings because this is ‘cave time’ for those of us in the northern hemisphere. The New Year’s Day New Moon energy is still with us so clarify your dreams and wishes for this New Year and do some ritual to help you manifest them. Today’s message from The Divine Feminine urges you to get moving on those dreams!
