Dear Ones,
We are poised to help you with the changes that you need to make in the coming days. We wish to help you see what the changes are that you must make if you are to grow as a human community. Are you ready to make that growth happen?
First we would have you consider what your reality is. Are you stuck in beliefs that were formed by others before you or are you fully present to the current moment? Your reality is created in every moment depending on what you believe about that moment. Do you believe you are incompetent? You will be incompetent in this moment. Do you believe that the world is not supportive of you? You will feel that you are not being supported in this moment. Do you believe that other people wish to help you? You will receive help. Do you believe that the Universe is a benevolent place? You will be the recipient of that benevolence.
Consider what you believe and shift your beliefs to coincide with your desires for the reality in which you exist today. This is Step 1 in Conscious Living, back to the basics of creating consciously your own reality.
Next, examine your thoughts in every moment. Are you empowering yourself with those thoughts or are you accepting the role of victim? Are you understanding your relationship to the Universe as a whole or are you thinking that you are disconnected and alone? To live a Conscious Life you must become aware of your thoughts. Observe yourself thinking those thoughts. This distance from yourself as the thinker allows you to perceive the unreality and false aspects of some of those thoughts. Allow yourself the freedom to examine every thought you have in a given day. What feeling does that thought generate? What call to action is inherent in that thought? Does it make you want to connect with others or to isolate yourself from the community? Do you understand that there are thoughts that can have beneficial effects on your body but there are also thoughts that cause harm to your physical self?
Learn how much you can control your thoughts. Just because many thoughts arise unbidden in your mind does not mean that you cannot control those thoughts. It is not the rising up of the thought that creates discomfort in you – it is your attachment to that thought, your energizing of thoughts that do not expand you, that causes you distress. Take charge of your thoughts. Learn to observe and assess them before you embrace them.
This may take some practice for you but you will lead a more fulfilling life when you are not controlled by thoughts that cause you to contract rather than to expand.
Planet Earth has welcomed to her surface billions of people at this time who agreed to co-create the present day reality. If you feel yourself disconnected from Mother Earth and/or from the others who inhabit her realm today, then you are stepping into a false existence that is not the true reality of 21st Century Life on the Planet. Be responsible for your node in the network of the human community on Earth. Own your role. Participate fully in your own Life for you owe it to all other humans.
And you start this by taking charge of your thoughts and beliefs, something fully within your power to do today!
And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: What Are You Waiting For?
October 5, 2010 — RosemaryI really hear this message! It’s so easy to procrastinate, to put off bringing in or doing something that we REALLY want and the excuses we use can be pretty lame. How often have you done this yourself? I know I’m guilty!
When I move to the right house, when I have the right partner, when I have $X in the bank, when I get a new job… It goes on and on. There are so many good reasons to postpone doing something. And yet if we are thinking about doing that ‘thing,’ whatever it is, there must be some energy available to it in the moment, some energy to support the thought. Thoughts are things, right? And thoughts, as everything, are made up of energy. So it follows that there’s some energy there.
In 1974 I was waiting to move into the perfect house on the water before getting pregnant, but finally decided that I wasn’t getting any younger and that maybe I had the wrong priority. We ended up finding the perfect house on the water the same weekend I got pregnant with my daughter and moved in months before the birth. Funny how that seems to work, isn’t it?
So what are you waiting for? And what can you do today, right NOW, to move in the direction of what you desire?
I have so many ideas floating around in my head for workshops, classes, teleseminars and all they are waiting for is for me to get them on the calendar. What holds me back? If I’m honest, it can be a fear of committing to the calendar. Maybe there is a little insecurity about, “What if I schedule it and no one signs up?” And yet is it fair to people who want to take the workshops, classes and teleseminars for me to withhold myself from them because of my ‘stuff’?
There are some magnificent artists who feel they aren’t good enough to sell their artwork, and yet the rest of us would love to purchase it, given the chance. There are some amazing singers who think it’s okay to sing in the shower but are afraid to share that talent in public. There are books and articles waiting to be published because the author judges them ‘not ready’ or ‘not interesting enough’ for sharing with others. I’m thinking that this becomes pretty self-focused — maybe we are given the talents and abilities that we have so that we can share these with others.
In many cultures, storytelling is an art and everyone is expected to share around the campfire or the town square. People don’t judge, they just share whatever they have to share. Can we adopt that attitude in our society? Let’s agree to just share, not judge or wait for the perfect time. We can agree to accept whatever the response is, without judging ourselves or others, and allow the impetus to come from within, to just share what is inside us. If there truly is a stumbling block, an obstacle, then we can decide to accept help, to do the personal growth work or the spiritual work, and then to move forward.
Take one step today. If you would like to examine the blocks or obstacles, then make an appointment with a counselor or coach and do the work. But figure out that one step and then take it. It can open a floodgate to the energy you were looking for to keep moving!
