ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: What’s New with You?

Where is the newness in your life?  Are you in a rut?  In a routine that doesn’t allow you time and/or space to grow?

Now is the time to explore the ways in which you have gotten stuck and are holding yourself back from your expansive greatness.  Sometimes it seems easier to stay put, to stay where things are simple, uncomplicated, the same.  But are you growing?

If you are alive in a human body then there is something more for you to learn.  That’s what the human life is all about.  We are learning machines, from the moment we’re born and we have to figure out how to get around in this physical world.

Babies are growing and exploring and trying new things all the time.  All those ‘No!’ messages are helping the baby to learn what can and can’t be done, what’s safe and what’s not, what’s accepted and what’s not.  As we get older we start giving ourselves those ‘No!’ messages for very different reasons.

What would you like to learn or explore that you are telling yourself ‘No!’ so you will stop exploring?  What learning experience are you denying yourself because of a list of reasons that might, possibly, be excuses for maintaining the status quo?  How are you holding yourself back?

Brain science is discovering fascinating things about how we think and how we can change our thoughts.  Every thought either reinforces a previous thought or creates its new pattern in our brain.  The thoughts we repeat deepen the groove of that thought and make it easier to revisit.  New thoughts must be repeated to create a deeper pattern and, if left unvisited, will wither away.

What are your patterns of thinking and what would you like to change?  There are techniques for making those changes, and to change your mind you have to be conscious of your old patterns and the new patterns that you want to reinforce.  You can do this!

And what new stimulus is there in your environment to keep you growing?  Or are you content with the status quo and resisting forward motion?

Living a Conscious Life requires that you accept yourself on a path of growth and that you are proactive about seeking to expand your awareness and advance your understanding.  You are not the kind of human being who believes you are done learning new things and are content to sit around without exploring any new ideas.  You challenge yourself to grow and to explore.

This task is not as easy in a vacuum as it is with a like-minded tribe.  Who is your Consciousness Tribe?  With whom can you explore ideas, share thoughts without concern about judgment or condemnation?  Where are the people who will challenge you to consider a viewpoint that you haven’t considered before?  Do you have these folks in your sphere?

Or are you content to hang out with people who represent the ‘you’ of decades ago, who will not challenge you to think outside the box of your old ideas?

Your tribe is yours to find.  Sometimes we need a new tribe.  Sometimes our tribe grows with us and we can stay with the same explorers while we all expand our consciousness.

Are you being challenged to find something new in your life?  Ponder this thought today and then look around you and your day-to-day life.  Maybe it’s time to try on something new and see how it fits.

What’s new with you today?

MUSE-INGS: Who is Your Tribe?

The Mystic Messages have had a lot to say about ‘community’ this year. I’m guessing because we human beings need to be hit over the head sometimes before we get the message we need to hear.

This community of Colorado Springs decided to choose to have half the street lights turned off rather than to raise property taxes a penny to keep them on. The city made national news for that decision. Then our neighbor’s daughter hit a deer in the road because it was a stretch with no street lights and she couldn’t see the deer until it was too late. This poor high school student was very disturbed by the incident.

Fortunately, she was not hurt but the damage could have been much greater. Was that worth keeping a penny per some unit of assessed value? When does the good of the community become more important than the penny?

Why do you suppose that we’re being told so much about ‘community’? Why do you think it’s coming up again and again for us to look at? What happens inside you when you think of the word ‘community’?

For some, the word evokes a strong sense of belonging, of being a part of a tribe joined for the common good. For others, it brings up a fear based on an experience of suffering at the hands of a community that abused or ignored or in some other way was not a good fit for the person. Others think of community as being a group who want to take something away from them that is ‘mine’ – picture here a 2-year-old saying that word with all the ownership a tot can express!

What does ‘community’ mean to you? And can we define/redefine it so that it moves us forward in the evolution of consciousness?

I think it’s important for us to grasp the concept of our being social animals, that we live in community with others whether we like it or not. Unless you are a hermit living in a cave at the top of a mountain somewhere (and I suspect that if you are reading these words, you are not that!) then you live in a community of individuals – your neighborhood, your social tribe, your work colleagues, your family. How do you relate to the others around you?

More importantly, have you found your tribe of like-minded folk with whom you can let your hair down and be your authentic self? Are you a member of a community where people share values and ideals and are exploring how they can live a richer life while helping others to do the same? Do you know how to find that tribe for yourself?

There are intentional communities springing up in many places, including online. Many times there are serendipitous connections being made that lead to the forming of a community. Sometimes it takes intention on the part of one or some individuals to make it happen. And maybe, just maybe, you are the epicenter and it is time for you to gather around you the folks with whom you can relate.

Each individual is a part of multiple communities and the good of the community rests on the shoulders of the individuals who make up that community. If you think that your desires should trump the needs of the communal good then you really need to examine your responsibilities to that community. We human beings need to look beyond ourselves to make contributions that acknowledge our connectedness, not our separation.

Do the inner work to examine your life in this context. What communities are you a part of and what is your role? What communities do you want to become a part of and what is your opportunity to create that connection?

Who is your tribe?

MUSE-INGS: Create Your Tribe!

In Western culture we don’t often use the word ‘tribe’ to describe a group of people.  We talk about ‘community’ or ‘social group’ or some other collection of individuals, but maybe we should start saying ‘tribe.’  For don’t we all need a sense of belonging to some group or groups?

When is the last time that you made a new friend?  Do you always hang out with the people that you’ve known since high school even though they sometimes embarrass you or don’t understand you or even mock or make fun of you?  Have you ever looked around your ‘group’ and wondered if there were any member with whom you could share your innermost thoughts, your desires, your wishes and hopes for the future?  Maybe it’s time for you to examine who your tribe really is.

I’ve been attending seminars and retreats lately with different teachers/mentors and I’m finding that I like the overlap of my tribe members at these gatherings.  We’re all seekers and we seem to be sharing the journey by studying with the same teachers.  It’s a nice feeling to be able to know that these folks understand my language, that they are asking themselves the same questions I am asking myself.  We have created a history together over time and we support each other in our successes and our trials.  We know healthy boundaries and we respect each other’s but we also know how to support and bolster and share suggestions that honor and respect the other.  The tribe knows how to work together while supporting individual choices and processes.

I was recently introduced to an amazing lady in California.  Margie is 91 years old and retired last year after working in the same place for 23 years.  That means she started there at age 67!  Her husband died a long time ago and she lives in a beautiful house on the ocean.  She told me about a neighbor who became ill with cancer and during her 2-year illness the whole neighborhood joined together to support the family.  The woman died at the end of the 2 years but the neighborhood has remained a close community of folks since that experience.  Margie honored the woman’s memory by continuing to be a part of the ‘tribe’ that she had created.

Where in your life is there the possibility of creating a tribe?  Is there a group of which you are already a member that you might start thinking about as a tribe?  And, conversely, is there a group that you have joined that no longer resonates with the person you are on your personal and spiritual journey?  Why are you staying in that group?  Are they really your tribe?

I think a tribe begins with just 2 people of like mind.  It is fostered by mutual support and caring.  Others gather because they resonate with the energy of the original 2 or 3 or 4.  And a tribe is created.

Pay some attention this week to the groups in which you participate.  Step outside yourself and observe if you feel supported in this group.  Are you the best you can be?  Are you relaxing and being yourself with these people or must you put up a façade to fit in?  Notice how you feel before, during and after being with this group.  Are you uplifted?  Do you feel you are growing through your connections?

Become conscious of how your body is giving you signals about the people with whom you associate.  You’ll know if there is an uncomfortable energy incompatibility.  And you’ll know if you are resonating with the group and want to spend more time with them.

Explore or create your Tribes!

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Are You Tribal?

Dear Ones,

In ancient times people were not confused about who was in their tribe.  There were clear delineations between groups based usually on geography but often on attributes.  Tribal connections run deep in the human memory.  So who is your 21st Century Tribe?

Do you know who is your Tribe?  Do you immediately think of your nuclear family or the family of blood relatives?  These people might be a part of one of your tribes but you have many tribes of which you are a member.  Because people are so mobile at this time in history people are banding together to create tribes based on many myriad factors.

One tribe might gather around a certain kind of music.  Another around parenting children of a similar age or circumstance.  In many workplaces the coworkers have created a tribal feeling with each other.  Some neighborhoods have created tribes.  And international tribes are not uncommon with the ease of travel among many nations and even continents.

You might wonder why it is important to define a tribe.

At this time in your Planet’s history people need to band together with like-minded individuals so that they can support each other through the coming changes.  No longer will geography or blood determine the connections but it will be like thought and the energy of community support that will cause people to band together in a tribe.  Those who are on a path of personal growth will need to find others to connect with for support on the journey.  Those who have reached higher levels of consciousness will be seeking others at that level or above to join in the search for even greater awareness. People will not be able to stay connected with others who hold them back from or don’t support them in their spiritual growth.

It is time for every individual to examine what they believe and to determine the source of that belief.  If it is generational, as in handed down in their family from a generation of a past age, then it might be time to discard or dismiss the belief.  If it was generated in your childhood then you must reexamine that belief in the context of what you know now in your adult life.  If you are blindly following what someone else has told you is true then you must pause and examine that belief – is it really true for you at this time?

The Tribe that comes together around a commonality of ideas and beliefs will have similar vibratory frequency signatures.  This is the definition of ‘community compatibility.’  When someone of much lower or much higher vibration attempts to join this Tribe, the frequencies will be too far apart for everyone to feel comfortable and there can be discord.

Take it upon yourself to find your Tribe now.  Who is reaching as you are for expanded awareness?  Who around you is limiting themselves by thinking small-mindedly and refusing to grow?  With whom do you feel the most support and can you support them in their personal growth?

Who lights up your heart when you are with them?  Create a Tribe if you must, or join one that resonates with you.  It is important to belong to a community and this is the best criteria for determining that community.

And so it is.

MYSTIC MESSAGE from The Divine Feminine: Think New Thoughts!

Dear Ones,

The measure of a person is not meant to be their business success or financial worth and it is not meant to be judged by others. Each individual must determine for himself or herself whether or not they feel that they are ‘measuring up’ to their life purpose, their reason for being on Planet Earth today.

How often do you ask yourself what your contribution to the growth of human consciousness has been today? Have you helped someone reach for a higher understanding today? Have YOU reached for a higher understanding today? What ideas have you spent your precious time researching or pondering or discussing? What new thoughts have you been evaluating? Whose spirits have you spent your energy uplifting today?

These are the activities of someone who is living their life purpose and contributing to the growth of human consciousness. Are you incorporating these activities in your day? And how do you evaluate your day? Are you valuing the time you spend pondering big questions or exploring new ideas, or do you only value the time in which you are being ‘productive’ according to society’s views?

When time is precious to you you realize that you have no time to waste on activities that do not advance all of humanity. Small thinking limits you and all those in your sphere of influence. Backward thinking, that is, embracing and idolizing the thinking of times past without updating that thinking to embrace new aspects of thought, holds back the advancement of all of humanity and serves no one except those who delight in having power over those who choose not to evolve. Be very careful not to contribute your energy to the efforts to hold back the advancement of human knowledge and consciousness!

Know that you can advance all of humanity by having one new thought and spending time pondering that thought. You create a new pathway in your brain when you have a new thought. You strengthen it when you think of it again, when you ponder that thought. The thought generates an energy, and that energy radiates from your electric brain into the collective consciousness and others can pick up on that thought and advance it. This synergy of thought pulls all of humanity onward in the growth of consciousness.

You might be wondering why this is important but we would say to you that it is the only thing that is important. Humans are designed to grow, to think, to think new thoughts, to wonder, to ponder, to cogitate. When people agree to stop thinking for themselves, when they decide to be only the followers of thoughts that are planted in their consciousness rather than to explore ideas on their own, then they are choosing to halt the advancement of all of human consciousness. Why do people choose to do this?

Out of fear. Fear is the reason that people hold back and ask to be told what to believe. People are afraid they will be disconnected from their tribe. They are afraid that they will be alone or unloved or even harmed if they disagree with the leaders to whom they have given their power. And people are afraid that, if they venture into the unknown they will lose their value to the group.

Many people refuse to dissent because they want to belong. This ‘herd mentality’ takes the entire tribe over the precipice into the space where they have no power to influence the outcome of their situation. It is important that you, as you learn to live a conscious life, decide that never again will you remain a part of the herd.

Step out and think the thoughts that take you into virgin territory, into the arena of new neural networks in your brain. Dare to explore ideas that those around you might be frightened of or might even disdain. Be fully human and test out new thought for yourself. Be fully human in the 21st Century and blaze a trail to a new consciousness. Everyone hearing these words has the potential to be this trail-blazer!

And so it is.

MUSE-INGS: There is hope for humanity! by Rosemary Bredeson

If we can all bring our focus away from what divides us and, instead, work with the energies that unite us, we can solve the problems of humanity.

The evolutionary spirit of human beings depends upon an understanding of the connectedness of all Life.  The evolutionary process did not stop when a man chose to walk upright on 2 legs, or when the hairy beast lost some fur.  We continue to evolve and the Heart-Mind Center that is appearing in Conscious Humans is another sign that evolution is still at work on the species.

We NEED this evolutionary change at this time!  We need to figure out some new ways of being because a lot of the old ways no long work in the 21st Century world we live in.  The only important question is, Are you willing to evolve or are you struggling to hold on to the old ways of being?

How wonderful that we are being given a new energy center to help us in this process.  How kind of the Universe to help us along.  Are you willing to work to develop this energy center in yourself?  What does that entail?

Loving yourself is the first step.  Take care of yourself – body, mind, spirit, energy.  Many people are going to the gym but how many are going inside and meditating?  Many people are studying or delving deeply into intellectual topics but how many are expanding their spiritual understandings?

Loving yourself isn’t just about taking a spa vacation or taking time to be entertained.  There is an active quality about loving yourself that requires that you continually move in the direction of your highest good.  What stretches you to greater spiritual understanding?  What increases the Love in you that can radiate outwardly to others?  How can you come to a better understanding of the concept that All are One?  Do you ever wrestle with questions like these?  Do you have others with whom you can explore these ideas?

It is time to find community, a tribe, a collection of people who, like you, are explorers in the realm of Consciousness and who are open to learning that previously held ideas may no longer be valid.  Do you sometimes feel that you are the only one in your community who holds ideas that are considered heretical by some?  You are not alone even if it feels that way.

Humanity is waking up.  Eyes are being opened.  Hearts are reaching out for a purer vibration of Love.  Minds are questioning longtime notions that seem to have served their purpose and no longer apply to the 21st Century world.  Every time you start to question something you or others once believed, you are joined by others who are also questing after new knowledge.  The Heart-Mind Center is the point of connection between you.  Play with this concept and explore.  Find someone to ask who can explore with you.

All are One.  Every question in you is also in others.  Find them.

And remember that you cannot shut down your evolving Heart-Mind Center.  If you are part of this community and are reading these words, then the time for you to evolve is upon you.  Reach for your highest good in all things.  Many of us are reaching with you and for you.  You are supported.  The changes that are coming will be good for you if you keep your focus on growth.

All are One.  You are never alone for that would be a violation of the Law of Nature that All are One.  Take my hand and together we can walk forward and upright.  Then we can reach out for other hands to bring them along with us.
