Mystic Messages

Summertime, and the livin’ is easy.  Or at least it’s HOT!  Memorial Day always signals the beginning of Summer to me, even though Summer doesn’t officially start until the Solstice on June 21 and the kids don’t get out of school here until June 14.  This US holiday weekend, though, with picnics and barbecues and swimming pool openings signals the time to be outside for the season.  I look forward to outdoor living!

This weekend also brings that Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse we’ve all been waiting for.  At 12:25 AMEastern Daylight Time on Saturday, May 25, we’ll have the Full Moon with the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Sagittarius and the Earth’s shadow will fall across the Moon, the Eclipse.  There is huge significance to this event.

This is the third eclipse in a month, giving us impetus to shift, shift, shift.  The Gemini – Sagittarius energy invites us to examine the power of the mind and the power of belief.  According to The Mountain Astrologer, this is one of the most potent Full Moons of 2013.  So, if you think an ordinary Full Moon turns people, especially drivers, into luna-tics, be very careful this weekend!  We’re being offered ‘opportunities for big breakthroughs and shifts in consciousness.’  Are you feeling the transformation energy in your life?  I’m seeing it in a big way and every one of my clients is experiencing big shifts at this time.  It’s a great time to remember to go with the flow because changes are happening whether we flow with them or not.

I will be taking Richard’s 8-week class and also doing the video work for it. Join me for this wonderful approach to body movement and meditation; the ancient Chinese martial artform of Qigong. It is a gentle yet very effective body practice that is easy to learn and do, anywhere.

Happy Birthday to my sister, Ellie!  We are now the same age until my birthday in August.  Yes, twins the hard way!  I hope you are as blessed as I am to have siblings, or friends who are as close as siblings.  I have 2 sisters and some sisters/brothers from another mother.  I am not alone in this world!

Since this week’s theme is ‘you are not alone,’ this is a good time to take stock of just how many people you DO have in your orbit.  Make a list.  You are a part of this community we call RosemarySpace even if we haven’t yet met in person!  I hold you in the Light of Healing and Love just because you read these words.  And I’ll bet you can come up with a pretty long list of folks who are also connected to you.

We’re heading for the third eclipse in a month, on May 25, so this is really a hold-onto-your-hat time!  Eclipses invite us to shift in a big way.  When there is a 1-2-3 punch, is it any wonder that people feel the struggle?  Before the Full Moon for that eclipse we have Uranus and Pluto playing on the third of their seven big days [exact squares] on Monday, May 20.  Freedom and reform are highlighted.  I think Uranus is inviting us to look deeply into our Pluto ‘stuff,’ our own underworld.  Remember the story of Persephone going into the underworld?  This is our call to examine the shadows, the parts of us that have been hidden or disowned.  Often this is our own power!

Do some meditating this week on what you have hidden away about/from yourself.  Clients are uncovering their secret desires by allowing themselves to peer into the recesses in the closets of their minds.  Now is the time to shine the light into those dark corners and reveal yourself to yourself.  And if you need help, ask for it!

I’m joining new networking groups when I find them because I feel an urgency to connect with more people in the area.  If you are a part of a group that you think I should visit, please let me know!  It’s time for us all to connect and share and serve each other!

Happy Friday!  We’re still in the energy of yesterday’s New Moon/Solar Eclipse so don’t be surprised if there are some shifts happening.  Aches, pains, illnesses, migraines, fatigue – these might all be signs that you’re being impacted by this major celestial event.  Coastal Flood Warnings are common here in Annapolis on the Chesapeake Bay as the Moon affects the tides.  And since we humans are mostly water…

Happy Mothers’ Day on Sunday, May 12^th!  This is not only a time to honor our own mother but to expand that thought and honor Mother Earth, the Divine Mother, and all energies and manifestations of the Divine Feminine Energy on Earth.  Think of creation and what you are birthing into the Universe, with your feminine energy whether you are male or female.  Honor your Inner Mother!  And may all the human mothers have a wonderful day celebrating you and your gifts to the world!

It’s May and I can’t believe that 2013 is already 1/3 over!  Time really IS speeding up!

We are enjoying a beautiful Spring here in Maryland.  Lots of sailboats are already out on the rivers and the Chesapeake Bay.  Plans are afoot for cookouts and Summer gatherings.  Our grandson was asking each of us what temperature was our favorite.  [His was 81 degrees.]  It feels as if we here in the Northern Hemisphere are coming out of our Winter cocoons and expanding in the increasing Sun light.  How are you shining your Light into the world?

On May 9, 2013 at 8:29 pm Eastern Daylight Time there will be a New Moon Solar Eclipse, where the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun for a time and the Sun light appears to be blocked.  This Solar Eclipse ends a cycle and begins a new one.  Look back at what was happening in your life on May 10, 1994 for some clues about your personal evolution.  We are being invited to release the past, clear negative thought patterns and whatever else might be holding us back from expanded consciousness and evolution.  According to The Mountain Astrologer magazine,  Eclipses also affect cellular memory, facilitating our awakening and remembrance of our soul’s blueprint.  Do you know your Soul Purpose?  Have you had a Scientific Hand Analysis reading to discover your Purpose and your Life Lesson?  Using the energy of this Eclipse you can experience some profound insights to help you leap forward along your spiritual journey.

Whew! We made it through another Full Moon Eclipse (on Thursday, April 25) and now we have to watch for a comet!Comet ISON will get close to the Sun on November 28, 2013 and could flare into an object bright enough to be seen during daylight. Watch for the doomsday folks to come out of the woodwork. (But those of us who are astronomy geeks are gleefully expecting some kind of show in the heavens to remind us of the grandeur of Space.)

What’s happening to help you remember that you are a part of something grander than the minutiae of our busy daily lives? This is why ‘spiritual practice’ is so important. We need to remember, to connect, to slow down and look around us.
