NEWS FROM ROSEMARY

Tycho on MoonWe’re done with Mercury Retrograde for 2013 – woo hoo! Did you notice any weirdness while this planet was ‘going backwards’? Or, at least, it looks that way from Earth during a retrograde motion period. People can be distracted and papers/emails/contracts can get a bit mixed up. We had some interesting technology and email issues so I’m glad we’re past that influence.

On Sunday, November 17 at 10:16 A.M. Eastern Standard Time we’ll have a Full Moon, where the Moon is opposite the Sun and we see her reflecting a full circle of light. Full Moons are wonderful times to cleanse your crystals (you can leave them outside overnight) and you can also cleanse your house by getting rid of that which no longer serves you. This includes your interior house as well. See the Article for more about what is necessary!

This is our last week in the Sun Sign of Scorpio. What Transformation have you experienced? Use the energy of Scorpio to assist you in your evolution. On November 21 the Sun moves into Sagittarius and energy becomes more focused on intention, expansion and freedom. Are you living on Purpose?

As we’ve started doing more events here at our Center for A New Alliance we are getting excited about some new offerings starting after the first of the year! NEWS FROM ROSEMARY

asteroidAutumn is finally showing up here! I’m ready to put away the Summer clothes but it’s stayed too warm to do that. I love watching the Fall colors come out and I can’t believe we have not yet had a cold snap to freezing temps. At least it is cooler. And one Baltimore meteorologist is using the ‘s’ word – snow – for Baltimore in the near future. Not here, though. Living this close to warm water keeps us warmer in the winter and cooler in the Summer – nice!

What do you know about the weather in your area that makes you grateful that you live there? Surely there is something!

This is Thanksgiving month in the US and I like to use November as Gratitude Month. Every morning I think of something I am grateful for almost before I open my eyes. It sets the tone for the day. Actually, I do this all year long!

This weekend I think of my wonderful parents who are both on The Other Side now. They chose to be married on November 10, 1945 so that they would always have November 11, Veterans Day, as a holiday after their anniversary. I’m grateful to them for the wonderful life they gave me. And I’m reminded to be grateful for the veterans, like my Dad, who served their country. I may be a Dove now, but I know that my Dad was happy to be in the US Coast Guard during WWII. Happy Veterans Day to all the vets out there!

This week’s picture is an asteroid that appears to have multiple tails, like a comet. Transformation is not just happening to humans! This astronomical phenomenon has never before been seen; astronomers are searching for clues about the source of these tails! Enjoy this view from the Hubble Space Telescope!

This weekend is a time to celebrate Life. We celebrate all those who have gone before us, who gave us life, who have crossed to The Other Side and await us. It is the end of the harvest and the loss of daylight as the days grow even shorter. What are you doing to celebrate Life?

We have a busy weekend here in Maryland, with a Conversation with The Other Side on Friday, November 1 and a Celebration (with message and meditation and connecting) on Saturday, November 2, all after celebrating Halloween with neighborhood kiddies in costumes. Are you ready for something new in your life? The New Moon on Sunday, November 3 at 7:49 a.m. Eastern Standard Time is a Solar Eclipse and supports you in bringing in the new energies that support your transformation.

Here is what astrologer Steve Nelson says about the event:

“The Nov 3 Total Eclipse of the Sun is the most powerful celestial event this century so far… An eclipse is an opportunity to eliminate old patterns of thought and behavior from the world. As old forms dissolve energy set free is moved into new forms, this is transformation.”

SuperNovaRemnantHappy Halloween Week! Are you ready to ‘Trick or Treat’?

Here in the US our kids get dressed up in costumes on October 31 and go from house to house asking for candy. Ask any US teacher if they notice the sugar high in the students on November 1!

Halloween is the ‘hallowed eve’ before All Saints’ Day and then All Souls’ Day in the Christian calendar (November 1 and 2). In the Celtic calendar this is Samhain (pronounced ‘sow-en’) and is the Celtic New Year, celebrating the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. This is nearly halfway between the Fall Equinox and the Winter Solstice and marks a time when the days become noticeably shorter. In Mexican/Aztec cultures November 2 is the Day of the Dead and loved ones who have crossed over are remembered.

During this period it is said that the veil between the worlds is the thinnest and it is easiest to connect with those who have crossed to The Other Side. We offer a Conversation with The Other Side at this time to facilitate your connecting with your guides and loved ones. Because not all of you can join us here in Maryland we hold the Conversation both in person and online via videoconference and phone. Who would you like to connect with? full moonHappy Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse!

Today, Friday, October 18 at 7:37 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time we experience both Lunar events. The Moon moves into the shadow of the Earth and stirs up our unconscious mind and emotions. What has been hidden that needs to be brought out of the shadows and into the light to be examined? And what old motivations and fears can we now release?

This is a potent time for all of humanity as we are being called to expand our consciousness. What are you doing for your personal growth during this week?

On Monday, October 21 Mercury goes retrograde,meaning that it appears from Earth to be moving backwards in its path. 3 times a year this happens and during the 3 weeks that Mercury is retrograde we must be very careful about messages – after all, Mercury is the messenger of the gods! Pay careful attention to papers that you sign, emails that you send and receive. This is a good time to review your spiritual progress.

The heavens are conspiring to give you great support for self-assessment this week, combining the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse with the energy of a Mercury retrograde. How will you respond?

On Saturday, October 19 I’ll be offering Satsang with Rosemary at our new home/meeting space in Severna Park, Maryland. During this evening I will be channeling/teaching guidance for this period and will be answering your questions, both general and personal.
