The Heart of Humanity – Richard’s Commentary

Yesterday’s post was a message, as channeled by Rosemary, from The Divine Feminine. There is little I can say that will enhance their powerful message. But I do want to offer some thoughts and examples, perhaps in my way to amplify the message.

My first thought in encountering the words of The Divine Feminine comes from my training and work in indigenous cultures and their understanding of this “Heart” especially as it relates to ancestors. We, as living humans, stand on the bones of our ancestors; but their hearts beat right beside our own. Many of you know Rosemary as a medium who can speak directly to our ancestors, those who have transitioned in the near past and even ancestors from generations past. They are right here with us! So, when The Divine Feminine speak of The Heart of Humanity and say: “This is not about the individual heart of a single person but, rather, the collective heart of the humans both alive and in spirit” they include our ancestors in this Heart. Why is this important? They are right here with us, watching us, cheering us on. So often their messages through Rosemary are words of pride in our achievements, words of encouragement to continue to learn the lessons and evolve, words of comfort that they are with us! Their hearts beat within The Heart of Humanity just as ours do. Live and love within this energy!

My second reaction to the message is a recall of a divination card I often receive from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue, PhD. Maat is a Goddess in the deck that Maatcarries the message of “fairness.” (I’ve pictured the card here.) The key to understanding the message of this card is in the definition Dr. Virtue offers for fairness: “It’s when all parties involved surrender their personal agendas in favor of the greater good for the entirety of the group. This requires trust in the wisdom of the group.” And I add this requires trust in The Heart of Humanity.

I like this definition of fairness a lot. And it is little wonder that I receive this card a lot! What if our justice system were based on fairness: what’s good for everyone, the common good? How did The Divine Feminine put it? – “For the good of all.” With no qualifiers. We are all in this together. Sometimes we may not like this inclusive approach to “all.” But we are all members of The Heart of Humanity!

My third thought goes to our “community supported agriculture” (CSA) farm. As I write this, today is pick-up day. Each week we get a box of organic produce fresh from the fields. During this past winter we purchased a family share in the farm. Now we are getting our return on that investment. We paid our local organic farmer in advance and now receive a share. This share means we are part of a community, part of the common good; and we are sharing now in the results, good harvest or poor harvest (and  so far it’s been very good!); we share the benefit as well as the risk. Our community farm is part of The Heart of Humanity.

The Heart of Humanity is about our Ancestors and what they worked hard for, it’s about fairness, and it’s about sharing in the common good. I hope you are enjoying your share in this Heart!

MUSE-INGS: Who is Your Tribe?

The Mystic Messages have had a lot to say about ‘community’ this year. I’m guessing because we human beings need to be hit over the head sometimes before we get the message we need to hear.

This community of Colorado Springs decided to choose to have half the street lights turned off rather than to raise property taxes a penny to keep them on. The city made national news for that decision. Then our neighbor’s daughter hit a deer in the road because it was a stretch with no street lights and she couldn’t see the deer until it was too late. This poor high school student was very disturbed by the incident.

Fortunately, she was not hurt but the damage could have been much greater. Was that worth keeping a penny per some unit of assessed value? When does the good of the community become more important than the penny?

Why do you suppose that we’re being told so much about ‘community’? Why do you think it’s coming up again and again for us to look at? What happens inside you when you think of the word ‘community’?

For some, the word evokes a strong sense of belonging, of being a part of a tribe joined for the common good. For others, it brings up a fear based on an experience of suffering at the hands of a community that abused or ignored or in some other way was not a good fit for the person. Others think of community as being a group who want to take something away from them that is ‘mine’ – picture here a 2-year-old saying that word with all the ownership a tot can express!

What does ‘community’ mean to you? And can we define/redefine it so that it moves us forward in the evolution of consciousness?

I think it’s important for us to grasp the concept of our being social animals, that we live in community with others whether we like it or not. Unless you are a hermit living in a cave at the top of a mountain somewhere (and I suspect that if you are reading these words, you are not that!) then you live in a community of individuals – your neighborhood, your social tribe, your work colleagues, your family. How do you relate to the others around you?

More importantly, have you found your tribe of like-minded folk with whom you can let your hair down and be your authentic self? Are you a member of a community where people share values and ideals and are exploring how they can live a richer life while helping others to do the same? Do you know how to find that tribe for yourself?

There are intentional communities springing up in many places, including online. Many times there are serendipitous connections being made that lead to the forming of a community. Sometimes it takes intention on the part of one or some individuals to make it happen. And maybe, just maybe, you are the epicenter and it is time for you to gather around you the folks with whom you can relate.

Each individual is a part of multiple communities and the good of the community rests on the shoulders of the individuals who make up that community. If you think that your desires should trump the needs of the communal good then you really need to examine your responsibilities to that community. We human beings need to look beyond ourselves to make contributions that acknowledge our connectedness, not our separation.

Do the inner work to examine your life in this context. What communities are you a part of and what is your role? What communities do you want to become a part of and what is your opportunity to create that connection?

Who is your tribe?

MYSTIC MESSAGE: from The Divine Feminine: Rethinking Money

Dear Ones,

The heart of the matter is not money, but, for many, money becomes the essence – of relationships, of business, of families, of friendships. We would tell you that money does not have the right vibration to be held as the essence of anything.

Money exists in human societies because people created a way to exchange things of value as they learned to trade what they had for something else that they needed. The value of one person’s goods was agreed upon and the value of the other person’s goods was required to be of equal or greater value before the trade was allowed to proceed. At some point people decided that it was simpler to agree upon the value of something tangible that was then traded because the common agreement to value was less open to misunderstanding. And, thus, money, or an exchange medium, was created.

Dear Ones, the energy of money has shifted over time to become something which many people see as more important than it is. Having money gives some people a sense that they are more important than those who do not have as much money. Feeling a sense of lack of money makes others feel that they are less worthy or important because they do not have the money they wish they had. Neither perspective is valid.

Are you struggling with money in your life today? Do you worry about money even though you have enough for the moment? Are you projecting your thoughts to a time in the future when you predict there may not be enough money for your desires to be fulfilled? And do you look at your relationships with others with money in mind?

We would ask you to rethink your relationship to money. Raise your consciousness to the level of your spiritual life and allow money to be put into its proper perspective, as a medium of exchange between people or entities who have agreed on its value. Money, having it or not having it, does not define who you are in your essence. Please do not allow it to become the standard by which you measure yourself or anyone else.

You have within you the Light of Your Unique Greatness. This is WHO you are. The vibration of this Light is a very high vibration and it has nothing to do with money. Your having or not having money does not change the brightness of this Light. You ARE the Light and the Light is YOU. Your very essence is Light. You were born to share this Light with others on Planet Earth at this time.

For some of you, there are monetary exchanges in which you are engaged that allow you to share your Light with others and to have them give you money in exchange for the value they have received. For others, you share your Light and you exchange money for other services or products. But always your role as a human being on 21st Century Earth is to share your Light.

What you need does not come from money. The Universe provides for your needs. The methods, the how of the delivery, might not look as you wish they did, but you are taken care of and your lessons are presented to you. Money is merely an exchange medium for participating in some transactions on Earth.

There will come a time when your societies will no longer use money to exchange products and services. People will revert to the times when the common good directed the exchanges and all contributed what they could to the operation of a society. People will be valued for their contributions to the common needs rather than for their net worth. Societies will combine resources so that all might exist and focus on higher vibration thoughts and activities. Money will lose its mystique and will, again, be relegated to a role of exchange medium, not god.

Live your life as if this time has already arrived. How can you serve others? How can you state your worth in your own mind so that monetary exchanges reflect your self-worth but do not define it. Put money into its proper place in your thoughts and your life will be more relaxed.

The result just might be that all the money you need flows to you when you need it because you have not created a logjam of thoughts about lack. You deserve to live the conscious life within the highest vibration possible.

And so it is.
