ngc-2841Hello from a warm Maryland! It will be in the 80s today! We’re enjoying the flowering plants and trees and listening to the birdsong floating in the windows on the Spring breezes. What a beautiful time of year! Of course, also floating on those breezes are pollen particles that wreak havoc on noses and sinuses. Lots of folks struggling with allergies, sadly. Hope you’re not one of those.

We celebrated Mother’s Day in the US this yesterday. I remember my Mom and wish she were still with us but I also celebrate being a Mom with wonderful children and grandchildren (and another on the way this year! Woo Hoo!). And I live in gratitude for the opportunities I have had to be a ‘spiritual Mom’ to those who are not my biological children but who are close enough that that doesn’t matter. In these times we must find our spiritual family and participate as if they are our biological relatives. Spiritual DNA is powerful!

The Full Moon is on Wednesday, May 14 at 3:16 pm Eastern Daylight Time. This is a time of letting go. Give your troubles, worries, anxieties over to the Full Moon and they will diminish as the light of the Moon diminishes in the sky. Finish that Spring Cleaning that you started. Clear out the clutter from your closets as well as the corners of your mind. What beliefs are holding you back? What negative thinking tells you that you are anything less that wonderful? Let that go!!!

Do you work with crystals? I’m being guided to suggest that you take that Spring Clearing to your crystals, too, and get them washed, cleared and moved around. You can always put them outside under the light of the Full Moon to get a charge on them. I put new crystals (new jewelry, too) inside an amethyst geode to charge them when I bring them home. Activate your crystals during this Spring Clearing time!

There’s no place like home…

While we had a great time visiting with our LA kids and seeing friends and attending Suzanne Evans’ Be The Change Event, it’s always good to get home and pick up the routine.

Last week we were in Las Vegas for Be The Change during the exact times of the Cardinal Grand Cross, that transformative celestial event that has had a huge impact on me personally and on all of us at some level. And then, on April 28-29 there was the New Moon/Solar Eclipse. Have you felt things shifting in your life?

The astrological events describe energetic patterns that are around us as we move through our lives. You don’t have to become a student of astrology to sense the impact. Big rain storms hit the Chesapeake Bay area the day after this New Moon/Solar Eclipse and there has been flooding all around us. Landslides in Baltimore. Rivers and creeks at flood stage. Roads closed. And elsewhere there have been severe storms and tornadoes. These aren’t accidents.

Paying attention to the Moon activities makes sense for a lot of reasons, including the Moon’s influence on water, which is the main component of the human body. Makes sense that we, too, would be influenced, right? So notice your moods, your impulses, your dreams.

I spent a lot of my time during the Cardinal Grand Cross period examining how I want to step out in a bigger way in the world. One way is to reach out to larger groups of people and to help you and others connect to the solutions for the problems that keep you feeling stuck. Watch for more group activities being offered soon!

In the meantime, I continue to help individuals in private sessions and will keep the Spring Clearing session special open for a little while longer. We just finished Suzanne Evans’ Be The Change Event 2014. I always enjoy attending conferences like this because I see old friends and make new ones. Plus, we learned new ways to help people make changes in their lives. And the timing of this event, as the celestial Cardinal Grand Cross happened inviting us all to transform, made this a very special weekend! Now it’s back to LA for a couple more days with our West Coast “kids”!

The last big April astrological event is the New Moon Total Solar Eclipse on April 29 at 2:14 am Eastern Daylight Time. This is a time of big commitment to endings and beginnings. What have you been asked to let go of and what are you ready to start? Commit to your personal growth now. The transformation of the previous celestial happenings is anchored in you now. Move forward in newness. Make a whole-hearted commitment to your own evolution.

I am returning from this event and trip with lots of ideas for some new offerings. When I go through my own transformations in the spiral journey of evolution I pass along to clients the new energies that come in. Grand cross planetsWhew! We made it through one of the big celestial events of this month! Were you able to view the Full Moon Eclipse on April 15? I did get up in the middle of the night to look but it was cloudy here in Maryland and I couldn’t see it. I have felt the energy this week, and many people are talking about how the Eclipse has affected them.

Now we’re ready for the big one – the Cardinal Grand Cross, April 20-23.

This is when Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto and Mars play together in a big cross with right angles in the middle. We are invited to change and to change in big ways. Here is some guidance fromThe Mountain Astrologer magazine: “Engaging the assistance of others (Mars in partnering Libra) in pursuit of our most creative goals could be the key to changing the course of our lives and helping to bring humanity to the higher level of consciousness promised by Uranus square Pluto.” In other words, collaboration will create more success and growth than competition.

Relationships were up for reassessment during the total eclipse earlier this month and we were invited to look at how we show up for others. Then the Sun moves in the solid Earth sign of Taurus on April 19. While we could choose to resist change by being ‘stubborn as a bull,’ we could also use this solidity to build confidence that we can use these celestial energies to create positive transformation in the world through transforming ourselves.

As my astrologer friend, Gloria Hesseloff, says, “The message of this Grand Cross is the Transformation of Your Belief System through Loving Action. Be optimistic and work with it. Ask the Universe through this time to SHOW ME THE TRUTH ABOUT MYSELF…NO MATTER HOW BEAUTIFUL!”

I have been working with these energies for awhile now and I can tell you that big change is possible! It’s time for each of us to figure out how we are going to shine our inner Light into the world. Who are you, really? Now is the time to look inside. Now is the time to clear those beliefs that make you think you are less than wonderful.

starburstCelebrating Spring in Maryland! Watching the birds at the feeders, seeing the flowers and the trees come back to life, being able to sit on the deck in the sunshine without snow – ahhhh, Springtime at the Chesapeake Bay is delightful.

I drew a card from the Tarot of the Spirit deck to see if there was a message for the MuseLetter from that oracle deck. The card I drew was ‘The Moon.’ Since I planned to write about the upcoming Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon, it’s no accident that the message would come from Luna! [Remember that in RosemarySpace, there are no accidents.]

Here is what The Moon wants you to know: “You cannot see the future clearly, but you must stay on your chosen path; trust your intuition; at your darkest hour, you will find that you hold your own light…You desired connection with all living things.” – from Tarot of the Spirit by Pamela Eakins.

On Tuesday, April 15 at 3:42 am Eastern Daylight Time the Full Moon will be eclipsed by the shadow of the Earth. The Full Moon is a time for letting go, for releasing what no longer serves us. This Full Moon is coming just before the important Cardinal Grand Cross involving Uranus, Pluto, Jupiter and Mars (April 20-23). Everyone will feel the impact of these happenings in the celestial sphere, whether you pay attention to astrology or not! This is a time of breakthroughs, or, if you choose unconsciously, breakdowns.

When the Moon passes through the Earth’s shadow at the Lunar Eclipse the unconscious mind will be stirred up to reveal our darkest fears and deepest motivations. “What do we really want? What’s holding us back?” – The Mountain Astrologer Magazine.

This is a good week to do the inner work, connect with your guides, be willing to bring your deepest fears to the surface so that they can be cleared. nebula in smcSpring is here! Change is in the air! Hallelujah! Daffodils and crocuses are in bloom in the yard. It’s a joy to be in a new place in Springtime because we have no idea what flowers will pop up for us to enjoy. I love this kind of surprise!

But I like the change in the yard from snow to blossoms! I like being able to sit on the deck and enjoy the sunshine. This is a change from the wintry weather that we have had for so long in Maryland.

This MuseLetter is going to be going through some changes, too. In the coming days, I will be inviting you to answer a few questions about how we can best serve the RosemarySpace Community. It’s time for a change, and I would greatly appreciate your comments about how you would like for us to stay connected so that I can continue to share wisdom, news and inspiration with you.

Now that we are in April we have some huge energies coming in that invite us to make BIG SHIFTS! There are 2 eclipses this month – one on the Full Moon on April 15 and the next on the New Moon April 29. In between these two dates is the Grand Cross, formed in the sky when Uranus, Jupiter, Pluto and Mars create a big cross. Wherever this falls in your natal astrological chart, you will be invited to make some big changes in your life.

Whether you follow astrology or not, the energies of this time invite you to shift into creative high gear and manifest those goals that can truly change your life. This is a big time for change! Are you ready?

Ring nebulaIt’s Spring! We are hoping that the snow is over, although seeing it snow on March 25 in Maryland was a bit weird yet fun. I’m ready for gardens and flowers and leaves on the trees.

Spring DID arrive as planned on March 20 with the Sun’s entry into the sign of Aries. This is the energy of beginning, of forward motion, of breaking new ground and creating new structures. And New Moons are times to bring in what is really important to us, to manifest the next step on our journey.

On Sunday, March 30, the New Moon in Aries occurred when the Sun and Moon were conjunct at 2:45 pm Eastern Daylight Time. Are you ready to start something new? Are you thinking about what you want to manifest in your life? Then this is the time to do a little ritual and state very clearly, either out loud or in writing, exactly what you want all this energy of initiation to support you in manifesting. The ritual can be as simple as lighting a candle or sitting outside at the time of the New Moon and sending your intention out to the Universe.

If you participated in the Possibilities Playshop, then you have a Playbook with this New Moon identified and this is a great place to record your intentions. If you haven’t attended a Possibilities Playshop yet, then use your journal or meditation diary to track the New Moon intentions and keep notes about your manifesting success. Paying attention to the New Moon and the Full Moon helps you to understand Cycles in your life. Keeping a journal of these dates and your intentions around them is a good way to become more conscious of your own personal and spiritual growth.

Happy New Year! Spring is the beginning of the astrological year when the Sun moves into the sign of Aries and we are on fire with new beginnings and the energy to start new projects. Of course, we here in Maryland are hoping this means that the snow will all go away and we can start working on gardening projects!

When  reading last Friday’s article do you see that it is time now to commit to your Life Purpose. Are you ready to commit? I think I will also schedule a trip to the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. I am embarrassed to admit that I haven’t been there yet. Who wants to join me for a field trip?

Explore this season as Aries gives you a lift into trying something new. Meet new people. Visit new places. Explore new ideas.

Galactic CenterWelcome to a powerful week! Winter is still bearing down on some folks while others are enjoying Spring weather. Here in Maryland we have both – this weekend was warm and as I write it is snowing; today “poor Richard” is shoveling again! Mother Nature hasn’t decided which season she wants to share with us this week, and she’s the one in charge.

So we started the week with a Full Moon on Sunday, March 16 at 1:08 pm Eastern Daylight Time. This Full Moon fored a right angle to the Galactic Center of the Milky Way Galaxy (the picture here is a Hubble shot of the Galactic Center!). This square ‘provides tremendous energetic support for releasing old beliefs and realizing our destiny,’ according to Stephanie Austin in The Mountain Astrologer. Why not take the time to release those old beliefs that are limiting your growth during the influence of this full moon?

Today we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with parades and green beer and the singing of Irish songs. Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Will you have the traditional corned beef and cabbage for dinner?

Thursday is the big one – The Spring Equinox, when the Sun moves into the sign of Aries (at 12:57 pmEastern Daylight Time) and the amount of daylight is the same as the amount of darkness. This is the first day of Spring, and many of us are cheering Spring’s arrival as we long to put away the snow shovels! Use this energy of rebirth, renewal, revival to examine where you are in your life, your relationships, your business/career, your finances. Do you need to take action to make some changes? NOW is a great time to do that, with the support of the Aries energy to start something new or to make great strides forward.

And here in RosemarySpace we are making some changes, too! We are reviewing the MuseLetter and revising it to better serve the community. And we are revising the blog schedule as well.
