Ahhhh! The air has started to cool off and I’m loving it! Here in Maryland the Summer weather can last well into October, but we’re having a delightful moment in September when it gets cool enough to turn off the air conditioning and open the windows to sleep under warm blankets. This is my favorite time of year, when it becomes a little crisp and cool and enticing to be out of doors yet the trees are still green and the Sun is still high in the sky. And then when the leaves start to turn the beautiful colors of Autumn, I’m entranced!

How about you? Do you love Autumn? And think of our friends in the Southern Hemisphere – you are getting ready to come out of Winter and warm up! I love that the seasons and the cycles of the year bring us newness in differing ways, but always newness.

This week is a waning Moon week, so the energy invites us to continue to let go of things, just as the Moon is growing smaller and smaller in the sky. Happy Blue Moon! Today is the second Full Moon in the month of August so you get two chances this month to release what doesn’t serve you. As the Moon starts to wane [appear smaller in the sky] allow yourself to let go – of thoughts, ideas, opinions, beliefs, relationships, jobs, clutter and ‘stuff’ – anything that isn’t helping you on your path of personal growth. You’re getting a double message this month to move it out of your energy space!

My husband and I have been purging for over a year now, and are down to a minimum of belongings [well, maybe not a real ‘minimum’ but certainly a lot less!] and it does feel good. Now we’re turning to the offerings we’ve been creating for everyone in RosemarySpace and deciding what to pare down here as well.

Can you believe it is time for school to start again? Whether or not you have kids at home starting school this fall, there always seems to be an exciting energy around this time of year. New school year, new adventures, the air changes, even the trees get into the act! It’s time for something new!
