Greetings from snowy Colorado!  It’s nice to be home for a few days before heading off for the holidays.  Hope you are letting yourself enjoy the holidays rather than being overwhelmed by all the activities.

We’re back from LA and the James Malinchak speaker training – well, as I write this, I am back in CO and Richard is in a hotel in Santa Fe riding out a snowstorm but will be back home shortly, we hope!  We’ve had the blessing of several wonderful trips to the area where our son and daughter-in-law live so we’ve been able to see a lot of them.  Next we head to the East Coast and will see our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids [hurray!] plus the rest of the family for Christmas.  I hope that you, too, will be celebrating with family and friends as we get ready to welcome a New Year soon!

Tuesday, December 21^st is the Winter Solstice, a Full Moon and a Lunar Eclipse.  Powerful energies come together on Tuesday.  Pay attention to your feelings that day and journal any insights you receive.  If you’re in Colorado Springs, we’ll be celebrating the Solstice on Sunday, December 19^th, at the Sunday Celebration at the Center for Powerful Living at 11:00AM.  Join us for the Celebration and we’ll be sharing a Pot Luck luncheon afterwards.  This will be Richard’s & my last Sunday Celebration in Colorado Springs so we’d love to see you!

It’s December and we’re in Los Angeles, California for James Malinchak’s Big Money Speaker Boot Camp. Mercury goes retrograde Friday December 10^th so we go back into a period of needing to be careful about communications. Re-check everything during this period. We’re really in the holiday season now!  Happy Hanukkah!  It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, too.  I love the holidays with family gatherings and gift exchanging and fun.  Hope you are enjoying this time of year by making it a special one for you, no matter what you celebrate or don’t celebrate.

Happy Holidays!  The holidays have officially begun here in the US as Thanksgiving makes way to all the special days in December.  Are you celebrating?  With friends and family or some alone time?  However you choose to spend the days at the end of the year, I hope you are planning some fun time as well as some strategic planning time.  Whether you are in business or not, strategic planning is about structuring your time around your values, to make sure that what matters most is getting the most attention.  Why not spend some time this week looking at 2011 and blocking out some time periods to focus on what’s really important to you?

Have you been watching this beautiful Moon move towards the Full Moon on Sunday, November 21st?  Every night I go outside with Tara, our Lhasa Apso, and look up at the beautiful Moon that shines so brightly in the clear Fall air.  Loving this time of year!   There’s still time to claim something in your life as the Moon is waxing [growing] to her fullness.  What would you like to bring into your life?  Get ready for the Full Moon when you can let go of something that you don’t need anymore, clear the space for the ‘new’ that is coming in 2 weeks with the New Moon.

Venus and Jupiter have both gone direct now, meaning that, when viewed from the Earth, their paths no longer appear to be moving backwards.  This brings great energy to move forward into beautiful expansive realms of new ideas and creativity.  What big ideas do you have for your life that you can work on now?

I am heading to Los Angeles this weekend to shoot the video for the multi-media collaborative book to which I have contributed a chapter.  [And I plan to catch the new Harry Potter movie as soon as I can!]   We’re also putting the finishing touches to our other book and continuing to record the meditation series.  Stay tuned for details on all these products!

Hello from HOME!!! Yes, we’re home in Colorado for a bit now after some amazing experiences in Tucson and Las Vegas.  We worked with James Malinchak in a small mastermind group at his lovely home in Vegas this week and had some great ‘aha moments’ while there.  2011 is going to be very exciting for us!

This has been a busy season for everybody!  Are you hearing, as I am, that ‘Time is speeding up!’?  Almost daily I feel as if I’ve just spent an hour that must not have had 60 minutes in it!

So how are you spending your hours in this busy season?  Are you clearing out closets and getting rid of stuff?  That’s been occupying me and it can be overwhelming at times but oh, it will feel so good when it’s done!  The Full Moon on Friday, October 22 is a great time to let go of that ‘old stuff’ – I’m letting go of physical stuff as well as limiting beliefs that no longer serve me.  I’m also getting ready for next year and I want all my energy to be clear for whatever 2011 brings.

I’m listening to two owls talking to each other as I write this.  Whoooo?  Whooo? Who are you?  Who are YOU?  Maybe we should take a lesson from the owls and ask each other this question – who are you, really? This is a good time of year to seek out others and to share ourselves with them. In this hemisphere, the weather is starting to turn cooler and we think about the time when we will be staying indoors more, beginning to isolate and go into our caves.  Who can you reach out to and get to know before you isolate? Who can you learn about?

When winter comes, the ‘who’ you learn to know is YOU!  As you get ready to go inside for the winter, are you doing some self-examination?  Do you have some questions?  One good place to get answers is in the Conversation with The Other Side.  We’re offering this on the internet and the phone in October, November and December. Join us to get a message of guidance just for you!  We’re still keeping attendance very limited so that each participant gets a message but this format will allow people from all over to join in the fun.  Here are the details:

We’re still in New Moon energy and the moon is growing every night.  Invite in something new. I did a Qi Gong workshop last weekend and have added that to my daily practice. What would you like to shift into? The Full Moon occurs on Friday, October 22 at 7:37 pm Mountain Time and the Moon will be in Aries, the opposite sign to Libra where the Sun is.  Use the rest of the waxing period of this Moon to decide what you’ll be letting go of at the Full Moon.  This cycle is with us every month, giving us a chance to bring in something new after letting go of that old ‘stuff’ that doesn’t serve us anymore.
