MUSE-INGS: To Change or Not to Change?

The Transformation Energy is really strong around here!  Every day there is some new thought, some new concept to flesh out and implement, some new program to offer.  And I am seeing this with clients, too.  The messages are about change that is coming for them and how to handle that change.

Are you someone who easily and openly embraces change or is it a struggle for you to deal with change when it is thrust upon you?  I believe there are people who answer both ways to that question.  For those who find it easy to embrace change their lesson comes in discerning the changes that are appropriate for them.  Some people like change for the sake of change and are learning to stay focused, to deepen their experience of something before they move on.  Some have trouble with commitment and so they embrace the opportunity for change as an escape route away from ‘being stuck.’  Some folks struggle with discontent over what is and wish to change to escape what they are experiencing rather than learn the lessons available to them before they change the circumstances.

And then there are those who do not want any change at all.  They are happily wedded to the status quo and choose not to change anything, even a little.  Often times those who run from change are running from something else within themselves, usually fear, often an unexamined fear.  In this category are people who have become familiar with pain and they fear the unknown so they stay with the familiar, even if it is painful.  It is often difficult for these people to embrace change, even if they want to or know it would be beneficial.

So when The Divine Feminine tells us that this year is about Transformation Energy, how do we embrace that concept no matter what our relationship to ‘change’ might be?

The first place to start is by understanding that, as evolving sentient beings we are always undergoing change within ourselves.  Our physical cells are dying and being replaced every moment we exist.  With every new experience we have new information in our mental data bases with which to approach every situation.  We are aging, we are learning new things, and the people around us are also developing.  To fight Transformation is to attempt to stem a tide that is already pulling us along.  Change isn’t necessarily bad just because it brings with it something different.

And change isn’t necessarily good just because it brings with it something different.  Some times what we are doing or being doesn’t need to change.

The important aspect of Transformation is that it occurs in our consciousness first.  We change how we think or what we believe to be true.  We examine ourselves in a context and we look for underlying reasons for behaviors and actions.  We become truly conscious and aware and ask questions rather than choosing to act out of habit.  It might be that in certain instances we choose not to change but that choice is made after careful consideration–it becomes a conscious choice about ourselves and our life.  That is Conscious Living.  Being deliberate.  Noticing in every moment where our thoughts and behaviors originate.  Do I really believe this or did someone else plant their belief in me?  Is what used to be true for me still true today or in this circumstance?  Am I choosing to change at this time because I wish to move forward toward something new or am I running away from something familiar?

When Transformation Energy is available to us we can embrace it with open arms but we must also examine what and why we’re transforming with that energy.  Learning how to use this energy is part of growing on the path of Conscious Living.

2010: The Year of Transformation Energy

Dear Ones,

We are pleased to tell you that many changes anticipated for the year 2010 have already been put into motion for you.  The energy of this year will bring Transformation to all who are ready and willing to change for the better.  Each year carries a special message for humanity, a different energy for what is happening to and around the Planet.  For 2010 this energy is about change, transformation at a very deep level.  Those whose nature is to resist change will find that they cannot stay upright in the strength of the currents of change.  Those who wish change for the sake of change will also find difficulties in advancing their agenda.

But those who are open to being led into the changes that are appropriate for them, personally and on a planetary level, will experience profound transformation supported by the Universal energies and the energies of Planet Earth.  This is the time for all humans to become attuned to their Inner Guidance, to listen to the Wisdom that speaks from within them.  This is the time for those who would be conscious to hear the voices of teachers who strive to bring others into increased awareness and consciousness.  The teachers who are still singing the old songs, who are still teaching from the energies of decades past, who have no way to tap into current sources of guidance for the present times, will be left behind by the students who are hungering for up-to-date information, guidance about what they are to do in the present moment, and support on their journey into their own wisdom and empowerment.

The days of giving one’s power away to an external institution are passing.  Those who continue to try to steal another’s power will find they have empty hands.  Of course, there are still those who wish to give away their power out of fear of retribution, whether by humans in this life or some kind of ‘god’ in an afterlife.  But those who choose to give away their power were never going to embrace the energy of Transformation that is present in 2010 anyway.  And the power-hungry people and institutions will still find some who will support them because those supporters are too fearful of change to allow themselves to transform.

But if you are one who is willing to accept the influx of Transformation Energy that characterizes the year 2010 then you must do a few things to acclimate yourself to that energy.  First, you must cast off the shackles that have been holding you back from making the changes that you feel your Inner Being is trying to make.  Usually those shackles are in the form of latent fears and limiting beliefs that work at the unconscious level to keep you held back from your own personal growth.  Clearing these shackles frees you to look around you for the ways to manifest personal change in your life.  When you open yourself to your own Inner Power, Inner Guidance, even if you must work with someone else to gain the most benefit from the effort, then you bring to Planet Earth a manifestation of the Life Purpose you came into being to anchor on the Planet. Transformation Energy does not necessarily mean that everything within and around you must change.  But it does mean that the changes will be deep and lasting and will profoundly affect the course of your life.  For some of you the changes will be as dramatic as that of a blind person who is given the gift of sight.  For others, the changes will be deeply personal – you will enter the rest of your life with a deeper understanding of yourself and others that will transform your choices and actions on a personal level.  And for some, the Transformation Energy will cause an explosion of public activity that will affect more people in the world than you can imagine.

Allow yourself to flow with the essence of this Transformation Energy as it unfolds in your life this year.  The changes for you might not come until December 2010.  For others, though, this energy is already happening in this year.  Hold onto your hats as the pace quickens!

And so it is.
