I’m in Colorado Springs until Tuesday this week, having a great time catching up with my many friends here and energizing the house for a quick sale. Hello from beautiful Colorado Springs! We’re visiting and enjoying the big sky views, reconnecting with friends, and the dry weather! (I remember humidity now after being back in Maryland for awhile!)

It’s great to be back as the featured speaker for the eWomenNetwork chapter in Colorado Springs where I first discovered this wonderful organization. I have eWomenNetwork friends across North America now and encourage you to check it out in your area – and it’s not just for women as we have quite a few eMales who are members, too! The energies of ‘moving on’ seem to be popping up everywhere so spend some time this week exploring what that looks like for you. People are saying goodbye to longtime pets, moving to new locations, changing jobs/careers/work. And many are moving on to new ways of thinking about old problems. I see this a lot in my work with clients – they are just fed up with the old ‘stuff’ and are willing to let go of those old tapes and ideas and MOVE ON! Is this you, too? We are happily driving to North Carolina today to celebrate with our son, James, his graduation from Community College with an Associates Degree. We’re so proud of him! At 32, he is pursuing his life’s dream. It hasn’t been an easy road but he is determined.

What vision for your life are you pursuing? Do you know what you must do to get there and realize that vision? It all starts with doing the work of personal growth. Just as James has been on a path of personal growth to get to this achievement, we each must decide for ourselves if we are content to stagnate with the way things are or to continually stretch ourselves to grow. A diploma in a course of study is one achievement. A diploma in personal growth work shows up as the life of our dreams. And we can keep dreaming, keep moving forward, keep revising the vision, and keep growing, no matter what age we are. Woo Hoo!

I hope you took note of the amazing Super Moon last weekend! The Full Moon on Saturday coincided with the Moon’s being the closest it comes to Earth this year. It was gorgeous over the Chesapeake Bay! And so we’re in the energy of letting go of that which doesn’t serve us any more, especially those thoughts that are based on ideas that are not coming from the higher frequencies. So jump into that personal growth work this week. Shine your Light or, at least, start working on clearing whatever is holding you back from shining it. One of the things I am doing to let go of something is to offer for sale my beautiful white baby grand piano. It’s time to let that go to a new home in Colorado as we establish ourselves here in Maryland. Would you like to enjoy it now? Send me an email if you or someone you know is interested.

We’re heading back to Colorado Springs this week and I’m excited about speaking at the eWomenNetwork meeting on Friday, May 18th. I’d love to see you at the meeting!

Happy May! I love the beauty of May in the Mid-Atlantic States of the US, but I also had a chance to visit Portland, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest where the rhododendrons and azaleas are in bloom – magnificent! Nature’s beauty abounds!

Today’s theme is about seeing the beauty that is on the other side of Doorways of Opportunity. How easy it is to be afraid to step through the door but there is beauty on the other side, even if it is only the beauty of a lesson to be learned. Step through the Doorways of Opportunity that open up for you this week!

One that opened for me last week was a trip to Portland to use up a free airline ticket. What an opportunity! I had an amazing time with my beautiful ‘sister’ Linda Bard and the Conversation with The Other Side there was awesome! A group of fabulous folks joined us and the messages were special. Can’t wait to do it again! And I’ve made a bunch of new friends because I stepped through that doorway and flew across country for the weekend.

It’s May [almost]! That lovely time when we put out May baskets of flowers in Annapolis and enjoy the longer days and warmer temperatures, at least here in the Northern Hemisphere. I always feel as if I’ve emerged from the cave when the flowers bloom and skies are sunny. It’s as if depression is harder to do when the sun is out.

Does the weather affect you, too? In astrology, we talk about the ‘weather’ as defined by the positions of the planets. This week we’re still in the energy of the waxing [growing] Moon so you can use that energy to encourage growth in your life, business, relationships. Are you working on some new projects? Plant the seeds and build the energy this week.

It’s Springtime in Maryland which means flowers, pollen, baseball [did you see the picture I posted on facebook of Joshie playing his first game as catcher?] and Spring Cleaning. What are you clearing out of your closets and your life to make way for all the new energies entering in? [Or are you doing Fall Cleaning getting ready to enter the cave for the Winter?]

On Saturday, April 21st we have a New Moon, a time when the Sun and Moon are both in Taurus, loving beauty and order and ready to support you in sowing the seeds of your new projects. Watch them flower! The astrological energies will be helping you to be productive and successful.

As many of you know, I worked on NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope for a long time [in a former technical life!] and there are some amazing images still being delivered by this phenomenal mission. Here’s one from an active star-forming region in 30 Doradus within the Large Magellanic Cloud 170,000 light-years away from us. Isn’t it magnificent? This is called a ‘Turbulent Star-making Region’ and when I read those words I thought about how relevant they are to the work that I do now with clients. Often people come to me when there is some turbulence in their life and we work together to make them a Star on the stage of their life on Earth. My career change may have taken me beyond the technical field but I am still working as the Hubble – reaching beyond what’s obviously visible to the naked eye to seek possibilities from beyond the local distortions. How is your atmosphere distorting your vision? Would you like some help piercing that veil to reach the possibilities?
